OPTM-Chapter 193 The Storm is Coming!

The crowd fell into silence.

Indeed, this was an unexplainable doubt in everyone’s mind.

If it were someone else, they might suspect that those individuals have ulterior motives, but Lirisk himself was a Celestial Dragon and one of the beneficiaries. If he knew the truth, why would he choose to conceal it?

Once again, it proved that the world does not revolve around a single individual. Perhaps even Rowen would never have expected to uncover such a shocking truth!

The World Government’s attitude towards Ancient Weapons changed three years ahead of schedule!

And in the matter of dealing with Doflamingo, Lirisk was the true puppeteer behind the scenes and it was he who decided to release him.

Faced with the declaration of the next generation head of the powerful Nibelung Family, even the Gorosei (Five Elder Stars) and other Celestial Dragons, no matter how much they wanted Doflamingo dead, wouldn’t dare to openly defy him.

As for why Lirisk wanted to let Doflamingo live…

“Fufufu, is everything ready, Trebol?” In a cabin on the Donquixote Pirate Ship, not far from the Qilin Ship, Doflamingo, wrapped in a thick feather coat, had a sinister smile on his face as he spoke.

The empty room was devoid of any light and exuded a creepy and eerie atmosphere, sending shivers down one’s spine.

In Doflamingo’s hand, the Den Den Mushi was dripping with mucus, and he sucked it in, eliciting a response from Trebol, one of the Four Elite Officers of the Donquixote Family.

“Everything is ready, Doffi! If he dares to come here, we will let him experience the horror of the Donquixote Family!” Trebol’s voice was filled with madness.

When Doflamingo was imprisoned in Impel Down, no one knew what the core officers of the family had gone through.

Fortunately, Doffi was eventually released, or else they would have fought desperately against the Marines.

“Fufufu! Yes, the horror!” Doflamingo tightened his coat. Although his injuries had mostly healed, the lingering effects of being burned from the inside out made him fully dread the cold.

“Well then, until we meet again, Trebol.” After hanging up the Den Den Mushi, Doflamingo stared at the ceiling with eyes glowing red, revealing a grim smile.

“You think… I chose to survive out of the inability to let go, right?”

“I will prove to you just how wrong you are!!!”

Water 7, Galley-La Shipbuilding Company headquarters.

Paulie and the other foremen lay on the ground, covered in blood, wearing expressions of disbelief, despair, and confusion as they looked at the four black-suited individuals led by Rob Lucci.

“Lucci, Kaku, Blueno, Kalifa…”

Paulie painfully pronounced each name, his eyes filled with disbelief as he asked, “Why? Aren’t we comrades? Why did you turn against us?”

Faced with CP9’s sudden and forceful assault, these capable foremen didn’t even put up a decent resistance. They were directly struck down and brought to Iceberg’s office.

In response to Paulie’s question, Rob Lucci’s expression remained cold and indifferent as he calmly stated, “I apologize for causing you unnecessary thoughts, Foreman Paulie. From the very beginning, I have been a spy of the World Government’s intelligence organization, CP9.”

“CP9?!”

Behind the office desk, Iceberg’s pupils constricted. “So, that legendary organization actually exists?”

Only CP1 to CP8 could be investigated by outsiders, while the existence of CP9 and CP0 was known to only a select few. For most powers in the sea, CP9 was a legend, the sharpest blade in the World Government’s hands as rumored.

“So, you’ve already figured it out,” Rob Lucci’s presence made Iceberg realize something. His face turned gloomy as he asked, “Ever since I integrated Water 7, Government officials like Corgi have been coming to ‘Visit’ repeatedly, showing great interest in our connection to Tom. I knew the Government had suspicions about me, but I couldn’t confirm their authenticity, so I allowed Corgi to slowly investigate. But today’s events tell me that the World Government has run out of patience…”

With these thoughts in mind, Iceberg stared at Lucci’s cold face and revealed a strange smile on his face as he spoke. “If you kill me, no one will be able to find the Pluton blueprint!”

“Pluton?!” On the side, Paulie and the others were mentally shaken. It was the first time they had heard that the legendary Ancient Weapon, Pluton, actually existed in Water 7.

But soon, they didn’t have time to continue being shocked…

Shigan!

Pū Chī!

The air seemed to freeze, and everyone’s expressions became blank as they stared at Rob Lucci slowly retracting his finger from Iceberg’s forehead, rendering him speechless.

Rob Lucci spoke indifferently, “Is that so? Then it’s even better…”

On a street lined with bars, at the “Bleuno Bar.”

Lirisk, with great interest, personally mixed himself a cocktail. He picked up the bright red drink and took a sip, only to have his expression turn sour.

“Huh!! It tastes awful…” Zero, who was standing nearby, couldn’t help but twitch the corners of his mouth behind his mask.

To be honest, it was the first time he had seen someone mix tomato juice with chili water.

No wonder it tasted terrible!

But since Saint Lirisk was interested in trying it, as his loyal subordinate, Zero didn’t need to say anything more.

“Do you find it… strange?” Lirisk said casually as he put down the glass.

Zero’s expression froze, and he knelt down respectfully. “I dare not.”

“Is it that you dare not ask, or dare not think?” Suddenly, a powerful gaze locked onto Zero, causing even Zero, who was hailed as the strongest shield of the Celestial Dragons and had strength comparable to a Marine Admiral, to feel suffocated and made him struggle to catch his breath.

Cold sweat gradually drenched his back, and Zero remained kneeling, not daring to lift his head.

His eyes gradually turned into vertical slits as Lirisk’s eyes flashed with a hint of strangeness. Then, he smiled and said, “Curiosity shouldn’t be too strong, Zero…”

“Just know that this is Im-Sama’s command.”

Bang Rumble!

Thunder roared in his mind as Zero’s expression was filled with extreme fear behind his mask, and his eyes widened like ping-pong balls.

“The three Ancient Weapons cannot all appear, but they cannot be completely lost either. The wheels of history cannot be stopped, but at least this carriage… we will decide its path.” Lirisk slowly filled his glass with rum and a faint smile appeared on his lips as he spoke.

“As for Vice Admiral Rowen, he will thank me… It can also be considered as me repaying the debt of saving my life.”
