Inside the Saints and Demons Hall, Tenraku sat alone on the throne, his eyes closed as his thoughts immersed in the sea of his consciousness.
At some point, a vast golden ocean had appeared here, with the colossal Gods and Demons Scripture towering in the middle of the sea. It resembled an immortal monument being continuously struck by the golden waves.
From the center of the Gods and Demons Scripture, countless golden threads radiated into the void. Each moment, belief power from the other side of the void flowed in, condensed by the Gods and Demons Scripture into a liquid before merging into the sea below.
This was not an ordinary ocean but a Belief Sea entirely formed by the convergence of belief power! Tenraku estimated that he now had nearly a million believers.
Due to the chaos caused by the Khaos Brigade, various disturbances were happening worldwide. However, this chaos also created opportunities for Tenraku, leading to an explosive growth in his number of believers.
Opening his eyes, Tenraku’s lips curled into a slight smile. It seemed his tools were working diligently. He would have to reward them handsomely afterward.
It was at this moment that a dozen transmission formations unfolded, and Katerea, along with dozens of female magicians, emerged from them.
Under Tenraku’s command, Katerea and her subordinates were currently spreading belief and recruiting believers worldwide. Every few days, they would return to rest and report their progress to Tenraku.
“Greetings, Master,” Katerea and the group of female magicians kneeled on the ground and bowed to Tenraku.
“Are you injured?” Tenraku asked, furrowing his brows as he looked at his tools.
Katerea appeared pale, her aura weak, and the other female magicians showed signs of having been in battle, with minor injuries here and there. Clearly, they had just gone through combat.
While the other magicians’ injuries were manageable, Katerea, who possessed the power of the Serpent, was at the Demon King level of strength. Although not at the top tier, there weren’t many individuals in the world who could injure her.
“Forgive us, Master. We were discovered while recruiting believers in Hinduism’s territory and ended up in a battle with Hinduism’s Buddha,” Katerea explained with a hint of shame as she recounted the events. Tenraku quickly grasped the situation.
Hinduism could be considered the world’s foremost great religion. It had an ancient lineage, and many god systems had developed based on its foundations. Even the God of the Holy Bible’s Church could barely contend with them when He was alive, but now there was little they could do.
Hinduism had numerous believers, and some of its powerful clergy held positions equivalent to Buddhas or Bodhisattvas. These figures possessed tremendous strength.
Among them, the three top gods—Destruction God Shiva, Patron God Viṣṇu, and Creation God Brahmā— were second only to Ophis, the Dragon God of Infinity, and the True Red Dragon God Emperor. Even figures like Śakro Devānām Indraḥ of Mount Meru and the God of Thunder Thor from Norse mythology ranked below them.
According to Katerea, they had been spreading belief for Tenraku in Hinduism’s territory. Unfortunately, they had been betrayed by a believer who was not firmly committed, leading to a battle with a Buddha of Hinduism. Katerea and her magicians had managed to escape only through a narrow margin.
It was fortunate that this time they had encountered only a Buddha. If it had been one of the three Lord Gods, they would have had no chance to escape. However, opponents at Katerea’s level were not enough to warrant the intervention of those three.
“I’m sorry, Master. Not only did we fail to recruit believers this time, but we also exposed the presence of the holy religion. Please punish us,” Katerea said with a worried expression, expecting Tenraku’s reprimand.
Tenraku remained expressionless as he contemplated for a moment before speaking, “Our existence will be exposed sooner or later. I won’t hold you accountable for this incident.”
“Go clean yourselves up, Katerea, and then come to my room.”
Activating ‘Smile of the Holy Mother – Twilight Healing’, Tenraku sent out dozens of gentle lights to heal Katerea and the female magicians’ injuries. Although they were at fault this time, Tenraku couldn’t be too harsh on them. Even though they were his tools, as long as they remained loyal and served him, Tenraku wouldn’t be overly strict with them.
“Thank you, Master,” Katerea and the female magicians breathed sighs of relief upon receiving Tenraku’s pardon.
After bowing to Tenraku, the group of women withdrew to their respective rooms for some rest and recovery.
Tenraku, meanwhile, tapped his fingers on the armrest of the throne and once again fell into contemplation.
Katerea’s recent actions had sounded an alarm for Tenraku. The existence of the Saints and Demons Religion was now known, not only to Hinduism but also potentially to other powerful factions. However, they were aware of the Saints and Demons Religion itself and not yet of Tenraku, the “Evil God” behind it all.
To prevent such a situation, Tenraku had already taken special precautions with the Gods and Demons Scripture. Unless someone was his believer, obtaining the Gods and Demons Scripture would only result in it instantly incinerating, leaving no trace behind. Without the Gods and Demons Scripture, finding Tenraku would be far from easy.
Moreover, the major factions were currently preoccupied with the audacious Khaos Brigade, which left them with little time or interest in pursuing the relatively minor “Evil God.”
In other words, Tenraku had time.
His immediate task was to recruit more and more believers and accumulate greater power before being completely exposed.
With his plans for the future set, Tenraku rose from the throne and headed to his room in the Saints and Demons Temple, waiting for Katerea to arrive.
…
“Master, it’s Katerea.”
“Come in.”
Katerea’s voice came from outside the room, and Tenraku invited her inside.
The door swung open, revealing Katerea, who had already tidied herself up. However, accompanying Katerea were a dozen beautiful women dressed in uniforms.
“Master, I’ve completed the training of these Khaos Brigade captives. I’ve brought them here to serve you,” Katerea said with a seductive smile as she stood before Tenraku.
“Good job,” Tenraku praised in a subdued tone, not declining the offer.
“What are you all waiting for? Hurry up and serve the Master!” Katerea snapped at the group of women who were standing idly to the side.
Having undergone some form of brainwashing and torment, the dozen uniformed women displayed evident fear towards Katerea. They immediately sprang into action.
Two women knelt on either side of Tenraku, while others massaged his shoulders and legs, preparing his seating area. One particularly bold woman even blushed as she unbuttoned her uniform, offering Tenraku a special service with her prominent assets.
It was like being treated as an emperor, and Tenraku closed his eyes and enjoyed the attention without reservation.
Silence filled the room as the dozen women served Tenraku diligently, while Katerea patiently stood by, waiting.
After some time, Tenraku finally opened his eyes, directing his gaze toward Katerea.
