Up to this point, the third round of the Queen’s battle had been won by Team Sairaorg. The value of a 【Queen】 was nine, while that of a 【Bishop】 was three. Therefore, in this battle, Team Sairaorg gained a significant advantage, nearly matching the thirteen points of Team Tenraku.
Now, the final decision would be made in the ultimate showdown— the War of Kings!
On separate platforms hundreds of meters apart, Tenraku and Sairaorg locked eyes. A slight smile curved at the corners of both their mouths…
“How’s Master’s match going?” Raynare inquired while taking her seat among the spectators.
“Onii-Chan’s match is about to begin.”
“Raynare, where were you?”
Seeing Raynare enter just now, Ravel asked.
“I ran into a few old friends and caught up with them.”
Wearing a mischievous smile, Raynare’s face displayed a sense of delight as she spoke of this.
Ravel merely pursed her lips and didn’t ask further. She didn’t like this woman with her twisted darkness, but as long as she didn’t betray her Onii-Chan, Ravel didn’t care to interfere.
As the break time ended and everyone’s anticipation grew, the fourth round of the War of Kings finally commenced—
“Now, let the final match of this Rating Game begin!”
“Oooohhhhh!!!”
With the host’s announcement, the entire arena erupted in an unprecedented cheer. The previous three Peerage battles had been spectacular, and now they were eagerly awaiting the final War of Kings!
“Both Kings and their 【Pawns】, please prepare. We will begin teleportation shortly.”
Following the host’s instructions, Tenraku, Marion, and the other women moved to the front of the platform. Similarly, Sairaorg and a masked figure from his team stepped forward.
Radiant light shimmered. Amidst the roar of the crowd, both Kings and their Peerages were teleported into the alternate dimension…

The battlefield of the fourth round was a vast, featureless plain. Sairaorg observed Tenraku, Marion, and the other women, while Tenraku appraised Sairaorg and his lone 【Pawn】.
“I now declare the match has begun!”
The host’s voice sounded from the sky, yet both Tenraku and Sairaorg tacitly ignored him.
“At last, the moment has arrived, Kamiya Tenraku!”
“Ah, I’ve been waiting for this for a long time too, Sairaorg!”
Locking eyes, both of them burned with intense determination.
“How’s Aunt doing?”
“Thanks to your help, she’s doing well. The doctor said she only needs a bit more rest to fully recover. Okaa-Sama also wanted me to thank you.”
“No need for thanks. As long as Aunt is okay, you can fight without any worries, right?”
“Of course!”
“But before the battle, introduce me to your 【Pawn】. He seems rather unique.”
With his gaze on Sairaorg’s 【Pawn】, Tenraku inquired.
“You’re sharp to have noticed so quickly.”
“Regulus, reveal your true form.”
“Yes, Sairaorg-Sama.”
Following his master’s command, the 【Pawn】 named Regulus removed his mask, unveiling the visage of a young man. However, that wasn’t the extent of it. With the sound of bones cracking, the youth’s body rapidly expanded.
Golden fur sprouted all over his body, his limbs grew enormously. Sharp teeth were visible from his parted lips, a tail emerged, and his neck was covered in gleaming Golden fur.
Amidst the stunned expressions of onlookers, Sairaorg’s 【Pawn】 transformed into a massive lion!
“Roar!!!”
Majestic and imposing, he let out a resounding roar toward the sky. The lion was roughly 5 to 6 meters in length, and on its forehead, a diamond-shaped jade jewel was embedded. Its glistening golden fur and imposing stature made it appear as if it were crafted from solid gold!
“Oh… Sairaorg-Sama’s 【Pawn】 is actually a colossal lion!”
The host above the arena also let out a huge exclamation. In the previous matches, Sairaorg had never used his 【Pawn】, so everyone was equally surprised to see the gigantic lion now.
“A lion from the House of Vapula… No, that jade jewel is!!!”
Azazel, on the VIP seat, was also examining the massive lion. He seemed to have noticed something as his eyes suddenly lit up.
“Recorded in the 【Holy Bible】, God once sealed a Sacred Gear within a lion, and that lion became one of the Longinus. Its name is 【Battle Axe of the Lion King – Regulus Nemea】.”
“Sairaorg, your 【Pawn】 is that lion, right?!”
Though he was asking Sairaorg, Tenraku’s tone was assertive. With his 【Sacred Gear Plunder】, he couldn’t possibly mistake the aura of a Sacred Gear.
Sairaorg’s 【Pawn】 was no ordinary lion. It was a legendary Longinus!
Sairaorg nodded with a smile on his face without denying it.
“Indeed, Regulus is the lion fused with the Sacred Gear by God. When I encountered it, its previous host had been killed by a mysterious organization. Normally, when the host dies, the Sacred Gear’s battle axe would disappear.
However, for some reason, the axe turned back into a lion and eliminated all the enemies who killed its host without leaving a single one alive.”
“Perhaps because Okaa-Sama hails from the Vapula clan with the power over lions, Regulus doesn’t bear a grudge against me and even feels a certain closeness. Later, some events transpired, and I used seven pieces of 【Pawn】 to turn it into my Peerage.”
【Battle Axe of the Lion King – Regulus Nemea】, one of the Longinus, left everyone shocked once again after hearing Sairaorg’s explanation. This was indeed a big revelation!
【Gauntlet of the Red Dragon Emperor – Boosted Gear】, 【Light Wings of the White Dragon Sovereign – Divine Dividing】, coupled with 【Demonic Beast Creation – Annihilation Maker】, and now 【Battle Axe of the Lion King – Regulus Nemea】— four of the legendary Tools that Destroy God – Longinus had unexpectedly gathered here!
Even though the battle hadn’t begun yet, everyone was excited beyond measure!!!
Of course, it wasn’t just them. Tenraku was equally thrilled—
“Marion, Burent, Shuriya, Ni, Li, Mira, Ile, Nel, elevate your ranks to 【Queen】!”
Calling out the names of his 【Pawn】, Tenraku gave orders to the girls.
“Yes!”
With a spirited shout, the girls simultaneously elevated their ranks. Suddenly, the flares of powerful Magic Power surged from each girl as their battle dresses swayed.
“Regulus, take care of their eight 【Pawn】. Defeat them, but don’t harm their lives.”
Patting the enormous lion made of gold, Sairaorg gave his instructions.
“Understood, my master.”
In a deep voice, the lion bared its sharp teeth and then set its massive limbs in motion, running off into the distance.
Without saying more, Marion and the girls swiftly followed suit…
