“Hōng Lóng!”
Siegfried and Raynare distanced themselves as a light spear approached, splitting open the air.
“Fallen Angel, your master is already dead. Do you still wish to continue fighting?” Siegfried asked, finding Raynare’s reckless fighting style rather distasteful.
“Dead? Don’t be ridiculous! I’m not dead yet, and that man will never die!” Raynare replied coldly, spreading her wings behind her and once again lunging at Friede.
Meanwhile, apart from the two giant foxes locked in combat, everyone else kept their eyes fixed on the direction where Tenraku had fallen. If Kamiya Tenraku had truly been killed by Cao Cao, then the battle would have reached its conclusion.
Feeling anxious and hopeful, they finally witnessed the outcome as the dust settled. Kamiya Tenraku was still alive!
Though he was covered in blood, disheveled, and had a gaping hole in his chest, he had survived! Rossweisse let out a long sigh of relief, and Semiria and the other women regained a hint of color in their pale faces. Katerea, whose gaze flickered, calmed down and a subtle smile appeared on her enchanting cheeks. She hadn’t misjudged that man after all!
“What are you all staring at? Let’s continue the fight!” Katerea commanded.
“Yes, Lady Katerea!”
Since Tenraku was still alive, the battle had not yet come to an end. Regardless of disappointment or joy, a thunderous battle cry resounded, and everyone once again engaged in combat.
“HāHāHā… Kamiya Tenraku, you truly survived!” Cao Cao laughed heartily, floating in the air as he watched Tenraku’s survival.
Apart from the “Brightness of Supremacy – Truth Idea,” the previous attack had been his strongest. Yet, Tenraku had managed to survive even such an onslaught. How many more surprises would this guy bring him?
Gasping heavily for breath, Tenraku began to heal his wounds. He was certain that this had been the closest he had ever come to death. If it hadn’t been for the last-minute use of the “Guardianship of the Holy Mother,” an area that reduced damage and provided extreme-speed healing, he might have been taken out for good.
Even so, True Longinus had pierced through his body, and the Power of Sacredness carried by the Holy Spear had wreaked havoc on his body. Despite his attempt to use “Smile of the Holy Mother – Twilight Healing” to heal, he had barely managed to survive by using a tear from a Phoenix.
Cao Cao had indeed given him quite a gift!
A bloodthirsty and cold smile formed on Tenraku’s lips. It was time to return the favor to Cao Cao but before that…
With a swift movement, Tenraku returned to the barrier and held Asia in his arms.
“Tenraku-san, Tenraku-san, wū wū wū…” Tears streamed down Asia’s face as she clung tightly to Tenraku, as if afraid of losing him again.
Asia didn’t understand the intricacies of battle, nor did she comprehend the true danger Tenraku had faced just moments ago. She could only sense that she had almost lost Tenraku, which left her panicked and on the verge of collapse.
“I’m sorry, Asia, for worrying you,” Tenraku whispered softly, gently brushing his cheek against the girl’s face. He used Asia’s Artifact, the Sacred Gear, to heal her wounds.
This foolish girl had risked her own safety in an attempt to break through the barrier earlier, causing her to be injured.
“Tenraku-san is a God. You promised that you won’t die. Absolutely, absolutely…” Asia sobbed.
“Ah, I am Asia’s god. I won’t die. I promise,” Tenraku assured her.
After soothing her, Tenraku noticed that Asia was gradually calming down. He spoke again, this time addressing Kunou, who was nearby.
“Kunou, I entrust Asia to you.”
“Yes… Tenraku-dono!” The fox princess blushed and quickly replied, snapping out of her daze.
Stepping out of the barrier, the gentle expression on Tenraku’s face was instantly replaced by a cold and ruthless demeanor. The armor of the Two Heavenly Dragons reformed around him, and then his Dragon Wings spread out as he soared into the sky.
“You’ve waited long enough, Cao Cao.”
“It doesn’t matter, but I don’t quite understand why you would be fond of such troublesome creatures as women. Is it merely because of their beautiful bodies? In the land of warmth and tenderness, heroes like you will only become obstacles and burdens on our path forward.”
Within the Hero Faction, many female members admired and expressed their love to Cao Cao, but he ruthlessly rejected all of them. In Cao Cao’s eyes, women, as troublesome creatures, could be tolerated as companions, but engaging in romantic affairs with them was out of the question.
“So, you’re the type destined to be alone.”
“Let’s save the topic of women for later. Right now, I just want to repay you for your earlier gift!”
“HāHāHā… Then come at me!”
Clenching his fist, Tenraku charged toward Cao Cao, and Cao Cao, shaking his war spear, laughed.
“Cao Cao, you can no longer use that move you just used, can you?”
Instead of immediately attacking, Tenraku spoke.
“Oh… You’ve noticed, huh?”
“Indeed, the attribute of the General Treasure (Parinayakaratana) is a powerful destructive force that allows me to unleash the power to slay gods and Demon Kings in an instant. But the drawback is that I can only use it once when activating the Forbidden Move. I’ll have to wait for some time before I can use it again.”
“But don’t worry, compared to such pure destructive moves, I excel in techniques. I still have many prepared techniques to deal with you!”
With a raised corner of his mouth, Cao Cao replied.
“That’s good. I’m ready to repay you in full. Just don’t die too easily!”
With a bloodthirsty smirk, Tenraku swung his fist and charged at Cao Cao.
So fast!
Watching Tenraku almost instantly closing in on him, Cao Cao’s eyes twitched, and he quickly used his spear to block.
Hōng Lóng!!!
Cao Cao felt a tingling sensation in his grip on the spear, and then his entire body was sent flying by the tremendous force.
But before Cao Cao could steady himself, Tenraku had already appeared in front of him!
“hah hah hah hah hah!!!!!!”
A dense barrage of fist images came roaring towards him, causing Cao Cao’s scalp to tingle. He could only continuously dodge and block, unable to counterattack even with his spear.
“Go down!”
Once again, Tenraku flashed beside Cao Cao, and his leg swept across Cao Cao’s abdomen.
Blood spurted out, and Cao Cao crashed to the ground with a loud Hōng Lóng, leaving a trail of ruins several hundred meters away as he smashed through buildings.
“It’s not over yet!”
Just as Cao Cao was getting up, Tenraku’s voice echoed again, and Cao Cao saw Tenraku holding a giant energy ball, fiercely smashing it down toward him!
His pupils contracted, and Cao Cao had no doubt that if he, a human, took such a blow, he would be utterly shattered!
“Pearl Treasure (Maniratana)!”
In a life-or-death moment, Cao Cao shouted, and a sphere of light flew out from behind him, quickly intercepting the descending energy ball.
The energy ball thrown by Tenraku was much larger than the light sphere, but suddenly, a black vortex appeared in front of the light sphere, devouring and absorbing the massive energy ball. Then, space distorted, and another black vortex appeared behind Tenraku. The energy ball that had been swallowed by the vortex flew out and struck Tenraku with a loud Hōng Lóng!
Dazzling light and soaring flames appeared but as the shockwave subsided, Tenraku’s figure reappeared in an instant.
Although there were black marks on the red and white battle armor, during the explosion, Tenraku had already used Albion’s power to recover most of the energy, causing little damage to him.
Clenching his fist, Tenraku looked again in Cao Cao’s direction.
“So, you can transfer attacks. What troublesome abilities you have.”
“But…”
“It’s not enough!”
With a sinister smile on his face, Tenraku once again charged toward Cao Cao.
Pū pū pū…
Despite his best efforts to dodge, the violent fist winds still tore through Cao Cao’s body, leaving behind bloody wounds.
“This guy!”
His eyes twitching, Cao Cao fully understood that this was no longer a simple battle but a life-or-death struggle.
If he didn’t counterattack now, Kamiya Tenraku would undoubtedly kill him mercilessly!
“Elephant Treasure (Hatthiratana)!”
Once again, a sphere of light flew out, but this time, it directly merged into Cao Cao’s body. A halo of light enveloped his entire being, and then Cao Cao, trailing a long tail of light, soared into the sky.
The Seven Treasures’ Elephant Treasure (Hatthiratana) granted Cao Cao the ability to fly, but compared to ordinary flight magic, the speed of Elephant Treasure (Hatthiratana) was ten times, no, a hundred times faster!
“Hermes’ Boots!”
Not willing to let Cao Cao escape, Tenraku instantly activated Hermes’ Boots, and two pairs of golden and magnificent wings unfurled beneath his feet.
With scarlet Dragon Wings, azure light wings, and golden divine wings, Tenraku’s current appearance looked extremely cool and exaggerated. Stepping forward, the earth cracked under his feet as Tenraku turned into a stream of light as he shot into the sky.
Fast, incredibly fast. Their figures were now completely indistinguishable, only two streams of light continuously interweaving and colliding. The entire sky was filled with explosive sounds.
“Cao Cao!”
“Kamiya Tenraku!”
Another collision occurred as shockwaves soared through the air and dazzling light pierced the eyes. It took a while for everything to gradually calm down.
The armor shattered, and Tenraku floated in the air, gasping heavily. Such high-intensity combat was also taking a toll on him.
However, when Tenraku looked towards Cao Cao on the other side, he couldn’t help but reveal a look of astonishment.
Because he saw three Cao Caos!
