“Roar!” A mass-produced Gigantis Dragon soared through the sky as it charged toward Yubelluna. In response, Yubelluna swiftly waved her magic staff, deploying hundreds of magic arrays before her.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Brilliant light erupted as the magic arrays detonated, creating turbulent and scorching air currents which were as sharp as blades. Even the heavily armored Gigantis Dragon recoiled in pain when it came in contact with it and was forced to retreat.
Yubelluna, with her magnificent magic robe fluttering in the wind, repelled the malevolent dragon. However, no joy filled her heart for her achievement.
As the “Queen” of Tenraku, she could confront a mass-produced Gigantis Dragon single-handedly, but her Peerage members would require at least two or three people, if not more.
As the battle raged on, her sisters sustained constant injuries. Particularly Ile and Nel, the audacious and reckless duo, who, despite inflicting severe damage on a Gigantis Dragon, were badly burned in the dragon’s counterattack. They had to withdraw from the fight and seek treatment from Asia many times.
In the midst of strategizing, Yubelluna suddenly noticed Xuelan and Isabela flying toward the Gigantis Dragon.
“Xuelan, Isabela, what are you doing?!” Yubelluna’s expression changed, and she hastily used communication magic to shout at the two girls.
“Yubelluna, if we keep waiting for reinforcements, some of our sisters will be lost. It’s better to take the initiative.”
“And besides, we are Tenraku-Sama’s Peerage. It’s not right to rely solely on Rias-Sama and the others to deal with all the enemies.” Xuelan and Isabela’s voices reached Yubelluna through the communication magic, infuriating her.
“Have you forgotten Tenraku-Sama’s orders? Come back immediately!” Although they were only mass-produced Gigantis Dragons, each of these possessed the power of a Top-Class Devil. Determined voices echoed out in Yubelluna’s ears before Xuelan and Isabela abruptly cut off the communication. Yubelluna’s expression turned grim. She was both angry and worried, but there was no time to waste. She immediately issued orders to her Peerage, as well as Mittelt and Karte Buné:
“Everyone, cover for Xuelan and Isabela!”
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Sword Qi/Energy, Magic, Thunderlight, Fireballs— the girls launched their attacks without hesitation, providing cover for Xuelan and Isabela.
Having infiltrated the midst of the Gigantis Dragons, Xuelan and Isabela exchanged a glance, then simultaneously unleashed their magic power.
“Ha!” Their overwhelming magic power enveloped them like a battle aura, trailing long streams of energy and Xuelan shot toward one of the Gigantis Dragons.
Swoosh! The Gigantis Dragon detected the incoming girl and unleashed a torrent of Thunder and Lightning which were as thick as a water barrel on her.
Despite the excruciating pain, Xuelan gritted her teeth, her eyes filled with unwavering determination. With a powerful punch, she struck the head of the Gigantis Dragon.
As an exceptional “Rook,” Xuelan possessed tremendous strength. Even the Gigantis Dragon was left dazed from the impact, its scales and blood scattering in all directions.
“Isabela!”
“Understood!”
Coordinating their actions, Isabela unleashed her own barrage of powerful attacks, shaking the ground with their might.
With their high attack and defense attributes, each punch they landed was equivalent to a cannonball. The Gigantis Dragon’s scales shattered, and flesh and blood flew, causing the entire battlefield to tremble and crack.
However, defeating a Gigantis Dragon was no easy task. Its steel-like body continuously rolled and fiercely lashed out at Xuelan and Isabela.
“Ah…” Spurting blood from their mouth, the two girls were sent flying hundreds of meters away, crashing onto the ground.
Despite feeling as though every bone in their bodies was on the verge of shattering, they had come this far— would they really give up now?
No!!!
Ignoring the excruciating pain, they tapped into their magic power once again. The ground cracked as they dragged their long energy tails and charged at the Gigantis Dragon.
“Hong Long!”
Dazzling light and towering flames surged into the sky. With a mighty strike from the two girls, the entire head of the Gigantis Dragon exploded!
“Peng Long…”
With its head gone, the Gigantis Dragon’s body crashed to the ground, twitched a few times, and then lay lifeless.
“We… we did it, Xuelan! We did it!”
“Ah, we did it!”
Their faces were pale and blood was dripping from the corners of their mouths but at this moment, Xuelan and Isabela were filled with an exhilarating sense of accomplishment.
Although it was incredibly dangerous, they had succeeded!
By eliminating one Gigantis Dragon, dealing with the remaining would become much easier for the rest of their Peerage. They just needed to hold on a little longer until Rias-Sama and the others arrived with reinforcements.
Struggling to stand up, just as the two girls were preparing to take further action, a magical communication suddenly unfolded in their ears and Yubelluna’s urgent voice broke through:
“Xuelan, Isabela, quickly get out of there!”
Almost instinctively, they looked up, only to see a massive wind orb descending from the sky, about to engulf them!
Unable to dodge, in the blink of an eye, Xuelan and Isabela were swallowed by the gigantic wind orb.
“Ahhhhhhhh!”

Boom! Hong! Hong!
On the other side of the dimensional gap, Tenraku controlled the Giant Samurai and engaged in a fierce battle against the demonic wolf Fenrir.
Suddenly, a jolt ran through Tenraku’s heart, and he couldn’t help but look in the direction where Yubelluna and the others were fighting.
“Roar!” Seizing the opportunity during Tenraku’s distraction, Fenrir leaped and bit off the Giant Samurai’s left arm, which held the sword!
Thump! Thump! Thump…
Wounded, the Giant Samurai took a few steps back, and even Tenraku couldn’t help but grunt a little in pain.
Fenrir seized the moment to pursue Tenraku with a Cruel and bloodthirsty expression in his eyes, he leaped once again, intent on biting off the Giant Samurai’s entire head.
“Fenrir, do you really think I’m afraid of you?!” Overflowing with anger, Tenraku controlled the Giant Samurai, steadying its posture with the remaining hand and raising that hand towards the sky.
A dazzling light flashed, and a huge golden ring materialized on that hand— it was one of Tenraku’s numerous Sacred Gears, “Laojun’s Golden Dragonfly”!

Tenraku controlled the Giant Samurai to project the golden ring, which split into five pieces mid-air, tightly locking onto Fenrir, who was leaping towards it…
