EPHS-Chapter 217 You’re Also A Wicked Woman

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

“Katerea, why… why…”

Creuserey stared in disbelief at the empty cavity in his chest, his face pale, and he kept stepping back.

He couldn’t understand this, he couldn’t comprehend why Katerea would suddenly attack him, why she would betray him?!

He had sacrificed so much for her!

“Let me tell you why, Creuserey. The Katerea you admire had long ago submitted to me,” Tenraku said, walking down from the platform with Raynare, his arm around Katerea’s waist.

“Master, did I perform well?” Katerea obediently nestled in Tenraku’s embrace as she asked.

“Not bad, not bad. It was a splendid performance,” Tenraku replied with a mischievous smile on his face as he gently caressed Katerea’s beautiful cheek.

Indeed, it was an incredibly magnificent performance!

“Wow!!!”

Creuserey couldn’t believe that Katerea had already submitted to Kamiya Tenraku, and had been deceiving him all along. He became infuriated and spewed out a mouthful of blood.

“You wretch!” With bloodshot eyes, Creuserey shouted in anger.

This despicable woman, this liar!

His deep love for Katerea had turned into boundless hatred. Not just him, anyone would find such heartless betrayal intolerable!

“Hmph, what’s wrong, Creuserey? Weren’t you just saying you would die for me? Regretting so soon? It seems your sincerity was nothing but empty words,” Katerea said with a cold and disdainful expression.

“You were the one who betrayed me first!”

Creuserey howled in rage, on the verge of madness.

Katerea had betrayed him first, yet she dared to speak such words. What a cruel heart she had!

However, compared to Creuserey’s furious frenzy, Katerea’s eyes were filled with nothing but irony.

“Betrayal? Creuserey, that’s why you’re so naive,” She said mockingly. “Whether it’s you, me, or that guy Shalba, we all gathered together and used each other for our own purposes!”

“But my love for you… my love for you…”

Although Katerea spoke the truth, Creuserey couldn’t accept it.

His love for Katerea was absolutely genuine!

“Hehehe… Hehehe…” Katerea laughed, tears almost streaming down her face as she lay in Tenraku’s embrace.

But in the next moment, she wore that endless cold and cruel expression again.

“You, a cold-hearted and ruthless person like you, dare to talk about love? Don’t make me laugh!”

“And besides…”

“Even if you truly love me, so what? I don’t love you at all!” Katerea spoke with an indifference tone and it was as if she were a lofty queen that sent shivers down Creuserey’s entire being.

“You… you…”

Staggering and retreating a few steps, Creuserey couldn’t help but give a bitter smile.

In the past, he had been completely clouded by that love, but now he finally saw clearly what a cold-blooded and heartless woman she was!

“And what do you love?!”

Feeling increasingly weak, Creuserey couldn’t help but shout, demanding an answer.

His genuine feelings were treated as worthless, and he wanted to know what this cold-blooded and heartless woman truly pursued, what she loved!

“Is that even a question? I love supreme power, I love immense strength,” Katerea replied in a tone of endless indifference.

But her tone changed as she gazed infatuatedly at Tenraku.

“Of course, I also love my magnificent master, who can grant me everything…”

This woman didn’t miss any opportunity to please herself. Closing his eyes, Tenraku couldn’t help but sigh deeply at the sky.

However, this feeling didn’t seem bad either!

He gently caressed Katerea’s cheek and then decisively sealed her lips with his own.

It was a reward for making him so pleased.

“Wow!!!”

Watching the two passionately entangled, Creuserey’s heart felt like it was being twisted with a knife. He spewed another mouthful of blood and collapsed to the ground, dead.

Already critically wounded by Katerea’s sudden attack and overwhelmed by the consecutive shocks, this young nobleman, who had been devoted to restoring the glory of the former Great Satan Asmodeus, was ultimately killed by anger.

Truly pitiful and lamentable…

“Tsk.”

Raynare disdainfully curled her lips and conjured a flame that burned Creuserey’s body to ashes.

Gazing at Katerea, who was still enjoying her master’s affection, Raynare’s expression couldn’t help but darken.

She had underestimated this woman. To win her master’s favor, she had gone to such lengths!

Gritting her teeth with hidden resentment, Raynare grew vigilant and silently vowed to work harder in the future.

She was the perfect tool for her master and would never let anyone take her place!

“Katerea, you’re a bad woman too.” After a long while, Tenraku looked at Katerea in his arms and spoke.

This cold, wicked woman had truly performed a splendid act for him!

“Hehehe… Master, don’t you like me this way?” Katerea responded with a mischievous laugh.

On the side, Raynare’s eye twitched as she forcibly suppressed the urge to stab Katerea to death. This damn woman even dared to use her lines!

“Let’s go and see how Yubelluna and the others are doing.” With both pitiful and unfortunate enemies eliminated, there was nothing else to stay for so Tenraku stretched lazily and led the two women out of the temple.

“Lord Tenraku.” Seeing Tenraku emerge, Yubelluna and the other women approached him.

The battle had already ended, and unsurprisingly, Tenraku’s Peerage had emerged victorious.

Although the unleashed Saintesses had greatly increased in power, they still fell short against Yubelluna’s group. Despite sustaining some minor injuries, they all recovered under Mihae’s treatment.

Observing the unconscious Saintesses, bound together by magic, Tenraku nodded. He currently didn’t have the time to consider how to deal with them. With a wave of his hand, he transported them all into the Saints and Demons Hall.

Next, Tenraku and his group exited the temple, and from the sounds of battle continuing outside, it looked like the fighting still raging.

Although their numbers were many, they were nothing more than mere small fry. Tenraku had Katerea, Raynare, and Yubelluna’s group join the fight, swiftly tipping the balance in his favor.

The Devils of the Khaos Brigade were forced into a hasty retreat, scattering in all directions.

“Haa… haa…”

Finally able to catch their breaths, Mittelt, Kalawarner, and the female magicians slumped to the ground with relieved expressions on their faces.

As their subordinates, they could be considered elites, but facing enemies several times stronger than them had given them a hard time.

While Mittelt and Kalawarner fared relatively well, the female magicians had suffered varying degrees of injuries. Some were on the verge of death with severe wounds.

Although a few deaths seemed inconsequential, as Tenraku’s tools, he naturally wouldn’t let them die without help. Activating the Sacred Gear [Smile of the Holy Mother – Twilight Healing], Tenraku released radiant light that enveloped the female magicians.

Those with minor injuries quickly recovered, and the severely wounded on the brink of death were also brought back to life.

“Thank you, Master.” Kneeling on the ground and overwhelmed with gratitude, the group of brainwashed female magicians grew increasingly fanatical toward Tenraku.

Tenraku nodded his head as he looked at them, he had always been one to reward merit and punish failures. They had all performed well this time, so they would be rewarded when they returned.

Before long, all the enemy Devils had been eliminated. Katerea, Raynare, and Yubelluna’s group descended from the sky.

“You all can go inside first.”

Tenraku gathered the three Fallen Angels, Katerea, and the female magicians into the Saints and Demons Hall. Then, he turned to Yubelluna.

“Yubelluna, activate the Teleportation Formation.”

“Yes, Lord Tenraku.”
