Vegeta was in shock when Cell came charging.
Although this Cell was in his Perfect Form, his body’s color was green, unlike the Silver and Golden Cell from earlier. Therefore, logically speaking, Vegeta in his Super Saiyan 2 form should have been able to handle him easily.
And indeed, that was the case before.
However, the shocked Vegeta didn’t expect the Cell he had just killed would resurrect and become even faster than before.

As long as the Destron Gas remains, these Ghost Warriors couldn’t die and would only grow stronger with each battle.
While Dr. Lychee continued to laugh maniacally, behind him, a woman lurking in the shadows remarked, “Dr. Lychee, you must not underestimate those Saiyans. Compared to back then during your time, they have grown much stronger.”
“I know. The grudges of the ghosts have told me everything! But it’s okay, as long as they can’t find the weakness of my Ghost Warriors, they won’t win!”
“Fine.” The woman in the shadows shrugged and turned to leave.
“Where are you going?”
“Sorry, but I think it’s time for me to go.”
“Go? Aren’t you going to stay and witness the completion of my Saiyan extermination plan?”
“No, women bring too many problems. Goodbye, Dr. Lychee, and good luck.”
With a slight smile, the woman vanished before Dr. Lychee’s eyes.
Once she left, Dr. Lychee’s expression darkened immediately, “Hmph! If it weren’t for you helping me improve Hatchiyack, I wouldn’t spare you since your body contains Saiyan cells!”
Back on Planet Vegeta, the battle was still going on, but by now, Goku and the rest were slowly finding themselves at a disadvantage, lacking the same heroic spirit as before.
On the contrary, the enemies were growing stronger through each resurrection.
After barely defeating Cooler in front of them, only to witness him resurrecting easily, Goku took a few steps back and said, “Vegeta, haven’t you noticed… cough… we’re running out of breath?”
“You too? Could it be that our masks are finished? Cough, cough!” Vegeta also coughed intensely.
Beside him, Gohan shouted, “Father, Uncle Vegeta, it’s not the masks. It seems to be this gase…”

In just one exchange, Goku and Vegeta found themselves back to back.
“Vegeta, it seems we have to unleash our true strength!”
“Kakarot, you still haven’t revealed all your strength yet?”
“Of course! And you?”
“Hmph! Don’t underestimate me!”
Just as Goku and the others were about to reveal their true strength, a sonic boom came from the distance.
Accompanying the sonic boom, Lazuli suddenly flew over from afar, “Mr. Goku! Mr. Vegeta! Miss Bulma has completed the analysis of the Destron Gas. This is the antidote she synthesized!”
“Antidote?”
“So fast?”
Lazuli quickly approached above the group and hurled at least dozens of Hoi-Poi Capsules from her palm.
Once these capsules opened, clusters of white gas burst forth from them.

Two brilliant blue energy waves swept out, and soon four more new blast waves joined in.
Gohan and Piccolo, Lin Luo and Taro, each executed their own signature attacks, sweeping away the enemies before them.

Amidst the radiance, Frieza and the rest emitted their last screams before disappearing beneath the light.
Once all the enemies in front of them were gone, Taro suddenly turned, yelled explosively, and with a punch, shattered the Destron Gas emission device on the launch platform into pieces.

After a thunderous explosion, the black gas in the sky above Saiyan Capital vanished completely, and the group of people who were on the brink of death finally began to regain consciousness.
