DBSKS Chapter 231 The identity of Androids

At this moment, Lin Chen’s heart was filled with numerous doubts. Even he had many questions about what had happened.

For example, Dr. Gero’s betrayal. Dr. Gero, who had been diligently working under him for several years, why would he suddenly rebel?

Was he scheming from the beginning, or did something change later?

To be honest, if it weren’t for Trunks’ appearance and his revelation about another world, Lin Chen would find it hard to believe that this seemingly ordinary scientist, an old man, had ambitions to rule the Multiverse.

And what about the two Androids that resembled Raditz and Bardock, who appeared in the research institute? What’s going on with them?

Especially the Android who looked like Bardock, Lazuli just said that it was also a human-modified Android, just like her. But both Bardock and Raditz were perfectly fine. How could they be turned into Androids?

The final question was about Dr. Gero. Did he really die just like that?

A highly intelligent and ambitious person, did he really self-destruct?

It was all too strange…

After thinking for a long time, Lin Chen couldn’t come up with a reasonable explanation. He could only shake his head and then return to the research institute.

Shortly after, on Planet Vegeta, Lin Chen, who had returned, gathered everyone together again and explained the recent events involving Dr. Gero.

“What? How could this happen?” Tights was stunned. She had even had interactions with Dr. Gero before when she was writing her novels.

In her view, he was just an ordinary old man, albeit obsessed with his research. How could he even think of betraying them?

King Vegeta looked wary. “Your Majesty, if Dr. Gero has betrayed us, then those Androids he was researching are no longer trustworthy! I suggest we immediately destroy all the Androids to prevent any future trouble!”

Paragus quickly retorted, “That won’t do. Your Majesty, there are already tens of thousands of Androids on Planet Vegeta, including the Metal Saibamen. Destroying all the Androids will have implications for every aspect of our lives!”

Lin Chen pondered for a moment and also felt that completely abandoning the use of Androids would be a waste. He asked Tights to return to Earth and bring Bulma and Dr. Brief, hoping that they could conduct a thorough inspection of Dr. Gero’s designed Androids and check for any backdoor programs.

However, until everything was confirmed to be safe, all the Androids needed to be temporarily disabled.

Besides ensuring that the Androids are safe, there was another matter that puzzled Lin Chen—the identities of the two Androids who appeared in the research institute during the incident.

“Your Majesty, according to Professor Fidat, Dr. Gero’s chief assistant, these two Androids are not created by Dr. Gero,” Paragus reported.

“Professor Fidat?”

Shortly after, an alien walked in. Lin Chen recognized him; he seemed to be one of Dr. Gero’s former assistants.

The alien bowed and spoke directly, “Your Majesty Lin Chen, we have conducted a preliminary examination of the Android corpses you retrieved. It is confirmed that the Androids were indeed modified from Saiyans.”

“What?”

“That bastard Dr. Gero! How dare he use Saiyans for his experiments!”

Upon hearing this, the Saiyans, led by King Vegeta, were instantly furious.

But before they could explode in anger, Professor Fidat’s next words left everyone stunned.

“Your Majesty, based on our comparisons, we have also discovered something. The genetic sample of the Android you retrieved seems to bear a striking resemblance to Mr. Bardock… We suspect that his original identity is either Mr. Bardock himself or a direct relative of him.”

“What? That’s impossible!” Bardock immediately shook his head.

He was perfectly fine now. How could he have been turned into an Android?

“Bardock, could it be Kakarot?” King Vegeta asked.

“That’s also impossible! Gine recently visited Earth, so it can’t be him!”

“Then who could it be? Do you have another illegitimate child?”

“You’re the one with an illegitimate child!”

While Bardock and King Vegeta argued, Paragus interjected, “Your Majesty, could these two Androids be from that future world of the young man?”

“From the future?”

Lin Chen narrowed his eyes.

Paragus said, “Your Majesty, let’s not dwell on the identity of those two Androids for now. We have been monitoring every move of Dr. Gero, and it’s impossible for him to create Androids that we are not aware of. Hence, the most logical explanation is that these two individuals are from the future world.”

“You mentioned before that, according to the young man from the future, in his world, after the fall of Planet Vegeta, many Saiyans were transformed into Androids by the Dr. Gero of that world. Could it be possible that these two Androids are from that world?”

Lin Chen nodded, “That’s a possibility. But how did they come here? Does Dr. Gero also possess a time machine?”

No one had an answer to that question.

After all, Dr. Gero was already dead, and the truth of the matter remains unknown to anyone.

Perhaps Trunks from the future would know, but he was currently in his own world and couldn’t provide answers to Lin Chen and other’s questions.

So, in the end, they could only temporarily set aside this matter.

However, little did they know that as they were discussing, the supposedly deceased Dr. Gero was actually sitting on a spaceship.

And beside Dr. Gero was another Dr. Gero.

“Are you sure Lin Chen won’t discover anything?” the real Dr. Gero asked anxiously.

The other him smiled and replied, “Don’t worry. He witnessed ‘me’ self-destruct before his own eyes. The entire spaceship was obliterated, leaving no evidence behind. No one will know that the one who died at that time was actually your Android clone.”

The real Dr. Gero looked at the other him, sweat forming on his forehead. “So terrifying. The me from another world already possesses such technological prowess?”

“You’ll soon have it too.”

Just as the words fell, a beeping sound suddenly came from the control panel behind the two.

The other Dr. Gero turned around, glanced at the screen, and then smiled.

“We’re almost there. My speculation was correct. This thing exists in this world too…”

At this time, on the screen in front of them, a cold, white planet slowly emerged from the chaotic asteroid belt.

And this planet was none other than the white planet that Cooler had managed to escape to—the Big Gete Star!
