Bardock, with a golden flaming aura surrounding his body, gasped for breath as he looked at the explosion before him, muttering softly, “Is it finally dead?”

“I’m fine, just a bit tired,” Bardock replied with a bitter smile as he stood up.
He looked at the Android crawling out of the wall and asked, “Your Highness, what’s going on? Where did these Androids come from?”
“I don’t know. Let’s deal with them first. By the way, where’s Dr. Gero?”
“He escaped during the chaos, Your Highness. Why don’t you go after him while I handle this guy?”
“It seems you’re having some trouble with him,” Lin Chen refused, shaking his head.
Bardock couldn’t see the opponent’s Power Level, but Lin Chen could.
According to his system’s detection, the Android in front of him had an astonishing Power Level of 20 million, slightly stronger than Bardock in his normal Super Saiyan state.
No wonder Bardock had been at a disadvantage earlier.
The figure that had crawled out of the wall looked at Lin Chen and a glint flashed in its eyes. It suddenly spoke in an emotionless and mechanical voice.
“Target identified: Lin Chen. Beginning elimination!”
The Android’s hands closed together, and a terrifying blue beam shot towards Lin Chen.
“How ridiculous!”
A smirk formed on Lin Chen’s lips as a barrier appeared, easily blocking the attack.
However, the residual energy spread in all directions, triggering alarms throughout the research facility.
Glancing around, Lin Chen said, “Bardock, go and evacuate those assistants!”
“Yes!”
Bardock nodded and followed the order.
The Android’s gaze followed Bardock, preparing to launch an attack, but Lin Chen blocked him with his hand.
“Your opponent is me!”
Lin Chen grabbed the Android tightly, and a powerful aura began to emanate from his body. With a flash of golden light, he transformed into the Legendary Super Saiyan.
“Beep, beep… Warning! Opponent’s energy has exceeded what I can handle! Warning!”
Android Raditz seemed to realize that he was no match for Lin Chen and attempted to escape.
But under Lin Chen’s firm grip, he couldn’t move at all.
“Warning: Unable to retreat. Activate backup plan!”
A red light flashed in Android Raditz’s eyes.
Immediately, a countdown began within its programming.
“The backup plan has been activated, self-destruct mode initiated, countdown begins now…”
“Ten… Nine… Eight…”
Although the countdown was happening within Android’s programming and showed no external signs, there was still someone present who understood Android’s system very well.
A punch pierced through the Android’s abdomen and directly crushed its power reactor. Lazuli turned her head and exclaimed, “Lin Chen, it looks like it’s going to self-destruct!”

Confirming that nothing was left at the scene, Lin Chen sneered, turned his head, and left.
When he returned to the research facility, Lazuli had also finished her battle.
“Lin Chen, look…”
Lazuli pointed at the pile of broken bodies that used to resemble Bardock… or to say Goku, and said, “There’s no mistake. Whether it’s the appearance, power, or the absence of aura, this guy is an Android, just like me, a human-modified Android!”

Through the shimmering green energy barrier, he swiftly locked onto a spaceship that was moving away from the research facility.
Using Instant Transmission, Lin Chen appeared on the spaceship and headed straight for the cockpit.
There, Dr. Gero suddenly turned around from the pilot’s seat.
“Dr. Gero, I need a reasonable explanation,” Lin Chen said calmly.
“There’s nothing to explain! Did you really think I would submit to you Saiyans? If this world is to have a ruler, it can only be me, Dr. Gero!” Dr. Gero’s face twisted with madness.
Furrowing his brows, Lin Chen, though aware that Dr. Gero was an ambitious person in the original story, hadn’t expected his ambition to be so extreme.
Why can’t you just be a good scientist? You’re not a conqueror. Why do you want to rule the world?
“Dr. Gero…” Lin Chen was about to say a few words of persuasion when he saw Dr. Gero press a switch.
In the next moment, a tremendous energy erupted out beneath Lin Chen’s feet.

The spaceship that Dr. Gero was aboard suddenly exploded into pieces.
Among the debris of the spaceship, Lin Chen, protected by his energy shield, emerged slowly from behind the fragments.
Looking at the wreckage of the spaceship before him, Lin Chen’s face turned serious.
