IUD-Chapter 75: A World Resembling a Myth

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

This is an extremely vast street.

And it’s not just any street, but a very peculiar one.

The street seems to have no end as it stretched straight ahead, with no indication of where it might lead.

The street itself is not made of ordinary concrete but instead paved with exquisite white marble that emits a radiant glow, resembling finely crafted chalk.

Towering stone pillars line both sides of the street, reaching into the sky and disappearing from sight. These pillars possess doors at their bases, further adding to the street’s mystique.

If one were to describe this scene as anything other than peculiar, it would be challenging to find anything truly peculiar in the world. However, the true peculiarity lies beyond what meets the eye.

One by one, the doors beneath the stone pillars swing open, revealing figures stepping out as if materializing from thin air onto the street. Conversely, some individuals walk towards the doors from the street itself, seemingly merging with the stone pillars, vanishing without a trace.

Upon closer examination, each door bears a unique Serial Number, with the text varying from one door to another. If one were well-versed in all the languages present, one would notice that these Serial Numbers gradually increase in numerical value as they ascend along the stone pillars.

In this surreal setting, beneath the 11273rd stone pillar, a door bearing the inscription “11273” suddenly opens. Stepping out of this door is none other than Fang Li himself.

“This…”

As Fang Li gazes upon the extraordinarily vast and peculiar street before him, he finds himself at a loss for words.

The newcomer’s guide to the Main God’s Dimension failed to provide Fang Li with a vivid description of what to expect. It merely offered a general layout of the space.

Thus, upon witnessing the expansiveness of the street and the towering stone pillars, Fang Li’s heart trembles with astonishment.

However, what truly captivates Fang Li’s attention are the pedestrians traversing the street.

Among this diverse array of individuals, their appearances exhibit an incredible range of variation.

Some have long ears.

Some have long tails.

Some have long necks.

Some have long fangs.

And then there are those whose classification as humans remains uncertain. They are covered in thick fur, sporting heads that resemble unknown species—beings more beastly than the famed Beastmen.

Moreover, Fang Li also notices shadows gliding across the sky. These shadows take various forms, resembling birds, beasts, and even creatures reminiscent of Dragon Species. Flapping their wings, they soar through the sky, traversing the street and disappearing into the distance.

“Are these all main Divine Envoys?”

Fang Li’s worldview shatters in the face of this remarkable sight.

Yet, upon careful consideration, it appears to be a logical conclusion.

Based on the knowledge imparted by the Main God’s Dimension, the world is divided into three distinct types, forming a pyramid-like structure with the highest rank at the summit.

At the pinnacle of this pyramid lies the Main God’s Dimension, also known as the space world. It stands as the initial world to be born, an undisputed pinnacle in the hierarchy.

Within this space world, only one life form exists—the Main God.

Thus, the Main God exercises dominion over everything within this realm, meticulously shaping and defining the Main God’s Dimension through countless years of development.

Occupying the middle tier of the pyramid are the Planes, each distinct from one another, collectively referred to as the Planar World.

These Planar Worlds are infinite in scope, with certain planes sharing similarities while others remain wholly distinct, existing independently of one another.

The world Fang Li previously inhabited belongs to one of the countless planes within the Planar World.

The Main God’s Dimension, in its discerning nature, selectively chooses main Divine Envoys from these diverse planes, summoning them into the Main God’s Dimension.

Therefore, all the main Divine Envoys within the Main God’s Dimension come from the diverse Planar Worlds. Some may have a natural resemblance in appearance, while others are completely different.

In such circumstances, it is understandable that the Main God’s Dimension would have such a diverse landscape.

After all, there are countless Planar Worlds, and only individuals with exceptional characteristics can enter the Main God’s Dimension. The chances of encountering main Divine Envoys from the same Plane are almost impossible.

Until now, there haven’t been any reports of main Divine Envoys coming from the same Planar World in the Main God’s Dimension. It can be presumed that the probability of meeting main Divine Envoys from the same Plane is incredibly low.

As for the bottom of the pyramid, it is the Dungeon World of each individual Planar World. The Dungeon World is derived from the fictional elements of the respective Planar Worlds.

When a civilization in a Planar World becomes advanced enough with a sophisticated culture, various fictional fantasies stemming from that Planar World give birth to fictional worlds known as Dungeon Worlds.

Each Dungeon World derived from a Planar World has its unique theme. For instance, Fang Li’s Plane likely gave rise to a 2D-themed Dungeon World.

The Main God’s Dimension selects the main Divine Envoys from the Planar Worlds and sends them to the respective Dungeon Worlds derived from their own Planes to travel and explore.

Given this, main Divine Envoys from different Planes cannot enter Dungeon Worlds derived from other main Divine Envoys’ Planar Worlds unless they undertake a quest led by the main Divine Envoys of that specific Plane.

This knowledge is only granted by the Main God’s Dimension after passing through the first Dungeon World and transcending the status of a novice.

Fang Li had just come to understand all of this.

“The magnificence of this place is akin to stepping into a realm of myth…”

Even Fang Li couldn’t help but feel a touch of awe at this moment.

Meanwhile, on the street, other main Divine Envoys began to take notice of Fang Li, one by one.

“Has a new main Divine Envoy been assigned to Serial Number 11273?”

“Well, it has been quite some time since the previous main Divine Envoy in Serial Number 11273 met their demise. It is about time the Main God’s Dimension selected a fresh successor.”

“So, we have a rookie here, I presume?”

“Indeed, and it seems to be a human.”

The languages spoken by the various main Divine Envoys on the street were unfamiliar to Fang Li. Nonetheless, he possessed the innate ability, bestowed by the Main God’s Dimension, to comprehend their meanings.

Fang Li did not know these languages per se; rather, he could simply understand them. As a main Divine Envoy, he possessed the unique capacity granted by the Main God’s Dimension to comprehend diverse languages—a vital skill in navigating the varied Dungeon Worlds.

Consequently, the main Divine Envoys possessed the ability not only to comprehend other languages but also to communicate effectively with individuals from different realms.

Observing the captivating array of main Divine Envoys, each adorned with their own distinct appearances, Fang Li couldn’t help but smile faintly.

“It seems like the Main God’s Dimension is even more captivating than I had ever imagined.”

With that thought resonating within him, Fang Li took his first step onto the bustling street, ready to embark on his extraordinary journey.
