IUD- Chapter 193 Invisible Bullet

“…………”

A deeply oppressive silence permeated the entire space.

Fang Li narrowed his eyes and gently closed his cell phone, surveying his surroundings. On this dimly lit street, there was not a soul besides Fang Li. However, he knew he wasn’t alone in there. There was someone else here, watching him.

During his year at Butei High, Fang Li spent most of his time engrossed in busy work to complete his Main Quest 2. Nevertheless, in the Assault Department, he had learned various specialized skills, such as tracking techniques, counter-tracking methods, escaping when bound, and awareness of surveillance. All these techniques had greatly benefited him, allowing him to rely on his hearing and intuition to assess the situation around him at any given point in time.

In this split second, Fang Li sensed something.

The suppressed breaths hidden in the darkness.

The slightly disordered footsteps.

The merciless, violent gazes focused on him.

The nauseating feeling caused by the viscous saliva rubbing back and forth.

At that moment, Fang Li was certain of one thing.

“I am surrounded…”

In his muttering, figures emerged from the alleys surrounding the street. Low growls echoed through the air as wolf after wolf slowly walked out of the dark alleys. They glared at their prey, tensing their limbs, enclosing Fang Li with their menacing eyes.

“This is not right, they don’t look like wild wolves.”

If they were wild wolves, the atmosphere wouldn’t be so oppressively silent. There were at least ten of them coming out of the dimly lit alleys.

If a group of wolves suddenly appeared on a crowded street, they would have launched an indiscriminate attack, causing panic and mayhem. Instead, these wolves were singularly focused on surrounding Fang Li in this secluded setting. It was as if they had a target and the intelligence to identify that target. This is not something that Wild Wolfs can do.

These wolves were not wild; they had been specially trained and strategically placed into battle by someone intending harm to Fang Li.

“To be able to train a pack of wolves, they must be no ordinary person.”

Ordinary people wouldn’t succeed in taming this ferocious pack.

The silvery-white body hair that seemed to pierce the skin, the overwhelming aura of danger, the graceful elegance of their powerful physique, and their massive bodies rivaling that of a young bull— all of these told Fang Li that these wolves were no ordinary creatures.

Fang Li had read about them in textbooks.

“The critically endangered Caucasian Silver Wolf.”

As he spoke, a howl pierced the air.

“Awoo————!”

Accompanied by a high-pitched howl from one of the silver wolves, the surrounding wolves leaped toward Fang Li like bullets, moving with lightning speed to encircle him.

At this moment, Fang Li found himself completely surrounded, with no way out. However, almost simultaneously, a small smirk appeared at the corner of his mouth as he watched this scene.

Suddenly, Fang Li raised his hand, and a series of flashes materialized around him.

“Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang—!”

Gunshots echoed through the air as the flashes were actually muzzle flashes produced when the bullets were fired. There were no visible guns or movements. It seemed as if Fang Li had shot the bullets with the palm of his hand.

“———- The Gun Magician…”

With this Magic-like shooting technique, Fang Li had gained this title in the world of Butei. He had once demonstrated this move before Tohyama Kinji, who was left astonished and called it the “Invisible Bullet.”

True to its name, the move involved bullets fired in such a way that the gun itself remained unseen. The target wouldn’t even know when they were aimed at or struck, rendering the attack nearly impossible to counter. It was said that Tohyama Kinji’s older brother had mastered this mysterious gun technique, using it to subdue countless vicious criminals.

Thus, when Fang Li performed the exact same shooting technique, Tohyama Kinji was dumbfounded. Little did he know that Fang Li didn’t actually possess knowledge of the “Invisible Bullet” gun technique.

Instead, Fang Li swiftly drew his Glock from the Black Ring’s Space, pulled the trigger at an extraordinary attack speed, and then retracted the fired gun back into the Black Ring.

This process was so fast that even someone in Hysteria Mode, capable of flicking bullets with bullets, couldn’t detect it.

As a result, this move became Fang Li’s signature technique, leading to his title as the “Gun Magician.”

Confronted by the sudden shooting, the pack of silver wolves naturally couldn’t react in time. They met the incoming gunshots head-on, and it was much like they were charging directly into bullets.

“Pū Chī—!”

The sound of bullets piercing their bodies resonated in the area.

“Pū Chī— Pū Chī— Pū Chī—!”

Successive bullets tore through the bodies of the silver wolves, causing a spray of blood as each wolf fell to the ground.

The blood gradually dyed the ground red, creating a surreal and almost poetic scene beneath the dimming evening sun. Although the scene was intensely bloody, it exuded a sense of indescribable beauty to it.

However, Fang Li had no mood to appreciate such beauty. As the silver wolves fell, he heard a strange noise. Looking up, he saw a car starting up and speeding away in the distance.

“Is that you?” As Fang Li spoke, another flash erupted in front of him.

“Bang—!” Another gunshot rang out, and a bullet shot through the air, landing on the car’s tire in the blink of an eye.

The shot punctured the tire, causing the vehicle to lose balance and violently collide with a nearby lamppost.

“Crash—!” The explosion resounded, and the car was engulfed in flames.

Fang Li watched it all unfold without a hint of emotion in his eyes and he soon stepped forward towards the scene.
