“I came to help you,” Alisa replied without hesitation, “You couldn’t handle Aphrodite alone, could you?”
“I won’t deny that,” Fang Li said, “But even with your help, I don’t think it would be enough to deal with Aphrodite.”
Just as Fang Li finished speaking, a somewhat arrogant voice sounded from the side.
“Then, how about adding us to the mix?”
Amamiya Rindou, Tachibana Sakuya, and Soma leaped from different directions and landed around Fang Li and Alisa.
Raising their enormous God Arcs and slinging them over their shoulders, Amamiya Rindou lit a cigarette. While smoking, he smiled at Fang Li and said, “With the three of us from the Far East Branch’s First Unit, along with the Russian Branch’s New-Type God Eater, would that be enough?”
Hearing this, Fang Li raised his gaze, his eyes scanning over Amamiya Rindou, Tachibana Sakuya, and Soma’s bodies, then shifting to Alisa, and finally settling back on Amamiya Rindou, where he smiled as well.
“The three elites of the Far East Branch’s First Unit, plus the Russian Branch’s New-Type God Eater,” Fang Li said, “If I still say it’s not enough, I would absolutely incur Heaven’s Punishment.”
“Being acknowledged by you is our honor,” Amamiya Rindou smiled as he spoke before he looked in Alisa’s direction and said, “As for the New-Type God Eater over there, I’m also looking forward to seeing what you can do.”
“No need to worry,” Alisa replied with her usual coldness, indifferently saying, “Just focus on doing your Old-Type job, then it will be alright.”
Although her words seemed arrogant, as if no one else mattered, Amamiya Rindou and Tachibana Sakuya could only smile bitterly, while Soma closed his eyes, seemingly too lazy to say anything.
Looking at the God Eaters around him, each with their unique personality, Fang Li wore a wry smile on his face but felt a surge of excitement in his heart.

Thus, with Fang Li at the center, the five of them simultaneously raised their heads and looked ahead.

Aphrodite seemed completely consumed by rage, its cries piercing the eardrums of the people in the Russian Branch, shaking the air, and constantly thrashing its vines around its body, filling the scene with an oppressive feeling.
Fang Li, Alisa, Amamiya Rindou, Soma, and Tachibana Sakuya stood their ground against the howling sound waves, their gazes fixed firmly on Aphrodite’s body.
Immediately, Amamiya Rindou spoke up.
“What’s the plan?”
Although this question didn’t specify a target, Fang Li knew that Amamiya Rindou was asking him. Therefore, Fang Li simply looked at the enraged Aphrodite and succinctly said such a line.
“Cover me. As long as I hit its forehead, we win.”

Aphrodite immediately let out a roar.
Shortly afterward, the vines swirling around its body suddenly rose up. They resembled enormous spears or guns descending from the sky, shooting violently toward Fang Li, Amamiya Rindou, and Soma, like a torrential downpour.
In that instant, it wasn’t just Fang Li, Amamiya Rindou, and Soma who reacted to the onslaught of vines, but also Alisa and Tachibana Sakuya in the rearguard position.
The two beautiful girls simultaneously raised their God Arcs, aiming at the descending vines, and pulled the triggers.

In this situation, every vine struck by Alisa and Tachibana Sakuya was flicked away by the overwhelming firepower. Even if some still managed to fall, their positions were greatly deviated.

None of those attacks hit Fang Li, Amamiya Rindou, and Soma. Their speed remained undiminished as they charged forward at an incredible pace.
