Retreat?
Now, at this moment, retreat?
“Why?” Alisa pressed the communication device hanging from her ear and said without hesitation, “If we retreat now, won’t the mission be a complete failure?”

“Alisa-Illinichina-Amiella! Do you intend to defy orders?!” The voice continued to transmit through the communication device, but Alisa paid no attention to it. She raised her God Arc and rushed into the midst of the Aragami.
The surrounding Aragami roared as Alisa approached them. Her God Arc instantly transformed into a formidable lethal weapon as it swung with the force of total annihilation.
“Pū chī—!” The sword sliced through the Aragami’s skin, cutting their flesh and severing them in one strike.
At that moment, Alisa became like a War God, slaughtering the Aragami that besieged her. With her God Arc in hand, she decimated the Aragami one by one, cutting them down under her blade.
“We… we’re saved!”
“Escape quickly!”
The surviving soldiers rejoiced and began to flee one by one. Only one person remained in the same spot without any change in his expression, even though that person was deeply surrounded by Aragami.
Alisa saw this person. As a result, the look in her eyes gradually changed.
