GGS-Chapter 914 Hidden Identity Part 2

However, Su Jing wasn’t content to simply let the matter drop. Even though the amount of money lost was relatively small, the fact that a pyramid scheme had targeted his own family was unacceptable to him.

“Xiaoping, take me to the MLM group’s headquarters. I want to settle this with them,” Su Jing said.

“We should just let it go. It’s not easy to involve the police in these kinds of situations,” Su Jing’s uncle spoke when he heard Su Jing’s words.

“What if it’s dangerous?” His aunt also added with a worried expression on her face.

“Don’t worry, it’ll be fine as long as I’m here to protect Xiaoping. Those scammers almost harmed him, it would be too lenient to just let them off like this. Besides, if we don’t do anything, they’ll just keep hurting other people. We have to stop them,” Su Jing said.

“Okay, be careful.” His uncle and Aunt thought about it and agreed. They knew that Su Jing was different now – not only did he have many abilities, but he also had a powerful backer. It would be a good thing if they could help eliminate the pyramid schemes operating in the area.

“I’ll also promote it on Live Streaming, so more people can be aware of the dangers of pyramid schemes,” Ye Lin said.

“Which website do you use for Live Streaming?” Guang Xuan, the CEO of Shark Live Streaming, immediately perked up at the mention of Live Streaming.

“Shark TV.” Ye Lin said.

“Oh?” Guang Xuan’s eyes lit up at the mention of Shark TV. He had been looking for a way to get closer to Su Jing and seek his teachings but had struggled to find a way to do so.

Su Jing seemed to be far superior to him in every aspect – financial resources, connections, and more – and he simply couldn’t measure up to him.

However, now he saw an opportunity. It was clear that Su Jing cared about Ye Lin’s family, and if he could make Ye Lin happy, perhaps Su Jing would treat him better as well.

“Alright, let’s go,” Su Jing said. He knew that Ye Lin was a part-time anchor on Shark TV, and with her good looks, charming smile, and skill at acting cute, she was quite popular and earned a decent income.

Su Jing also noticed Guang Xuan’s ulterior motives, but he didn’t want to burst his excitement-filled bubble. In his opinion, Live Streaming was a minor concern compared to other matters.

Su Jing, Ye Ping, and Guang Xuan went to a nearby MLM group’s headquarters, but when they arrived, they found that the suite where the group had been operating had already been vacated.

There were also some other suites in the local community that had been used for lectures, but Ye Ping couldn’t remember which building or floor they were on.

He called the friend who had introduced him to the group, but after a few words, the friend hung up. It seemed that the MLM organization had noticed something was off and become cautious.

It was no wonder that they did so. After all, Ye Ping had been kept at home by his family for the past two days.

“Cousin, what do you want to do? Do you still want to try to find them?” Ye Ping asked.

“Of course, we have to try to find them,” Su Jing said, thinking about how to locate the group. He had many options for tracking down the MLM organization, as they couldn’t have all simply moved away so quickly.

This was their base, and there were likely many members still in the area. He could simply walk around the local community and see if he ran into any of them.

Alternatively, he could go to nearby cultural sites where they often held “teachings” and try to catch a group there. From there, he could follow the trail and try to locate the MLM organization in the area.

However, just as Su Jing was about to take action, his phone suddenly rang. Seeing that it was an unfamiliar number, he hesitated a little before deciding to answer it and a strange voice came through the speaker when he did: “Hello, am I speaking to Mr. Su?”

“Yes, who are you?” Su Jing asked.

“I’m Samanprajna, the eldest disciple of Grandmaster Renxin. I heard that your cousin joined an MLM organization, and I think I might be able to help,” The voice said.

“How did you know my cousin joined an MLM group, and how can you help?” Su Jing asked, frowning and sensing that something was off.

“Because I’m one of the leaders of the nearby MLM organization,” The voice replied.

Su Jing was shocked and didn’t know what to say. He had always had a suspicion that something was off about Grandmaster Renxin, who seemed to have an almost fanatical following and seemed to cause trouble for himself.

This didn’t seem like the behavior of a true master but he never would have imagined that his eldest disciple would turn out to be a leader in an MLM organization.

“Samanprajna is a leader of an MLM group?” Guang Xuan felt used and upset when he heard this. He realized that his admiration for Grandmaster Renxin had probably been the result of being brainwashed.

To find out that the grandmaster’s top disciple was a leader in an MLM organization was like a punch to the gut. It seemed that the grandmaster was using the same old tricks to manipulate people.

However, it seemed that Samanprajna had been influenced by Su Jing and had decided to turn his back on the dark side and embrace the light. He was now offering to help Su Jing.

“It would be great if you’re willing to help. Can you help us gather all the members of your organization?” Su Jing asked.

“Alright,” Samanprajna agreed readily. It was clear that he held a high position within the pyramid scheme organization and was a top leader. That night, they were able to gather most of the members.

Su Jing brought the Azure Bead and chanted sutras for them. He wasn’t particularly patient or polite when it came to dealing with these people who had been deceived by the pyramid scheme. It was better for them to be saved by him than to continue being scammed.
