Steam rose as Xenovia and Yura Tsubasa relaxed in the bath, their alluring figures occasionally revealed in the mist. By the side of the bath, Rias and Sitri Sona lay on soft beds, their eyes half-closed, enjoying the massages from their respective Queens.
“Ah, this feels so good. Speaking of which, it’s been a long time since we’ve taken a bath together, Sona.” Rising up, Rias stretched her body and let out a contented sigh.
“I haven’t had the time recently.”
This caused her own Queen to stop the massage as well and Sitri Sona also sat up and replied.
“You’re lying. Sona, you’ve been deliberately avoiding me, haven’t you?” A playful glint flashed in Rias’ eyes as she looked at her friend.
“I don’t understand what you’re talking about.” There was a glint in Sitri Sona’s eyes, and she replied calmly.
“Sona, how long do you plan on deceiving me? Do you really think I don’t know about what’s going on between you and Tenraku?” Rias sighed and then brought up the topic directly.
After exchanging glances, Akeno and Shinra Tsubaki maintained their silence in agreement. Their King was currently discussing something very important.
After a prolonged silence, Sitri Sona finally spoke up:
“I’m sorry, Rias. I betrayed you.”
Without denying anything further, Sitri Sona admitted to what was going on between her and Tenraku.
“Sona did indeed betray me. She initially said that she wouldn’t develop this kind of relationship with Tenraku.”
There was a hint of bitterness in Rias’ tone as she responded.
“It’s my responsibility, and I won’t deny it.”
“If Rias wishes, I’ll choose to withdraw. I won’t disturb you both again.”
Seemingly having made a certain resolution, Sitri Sona spoke calmly.
“Sona, you’re just like you were when we were kids, always trying to act tough in these situations.”
“In your eyes, am I really that petty? That scoundrel has harmed quite a few beautiful girls. If I can accept them, then naturally, I can accept you.” Rias sighed, making her stance clear.
“Rias, accepting me and other women, there will be even more in the future. Aren’t you jealous?” Sona replied with a slight smile on her face as Rias’ response didn’t seem to surprise her.
“Hmph, of course, I’m jealous. It’s my right! But, as long as Tenraku still loves me and doesn’t violate the oath between us, then I will continue to love him, accept him, and support him.” Letting out a huff, Rias’ face softened with tenderness as she spoke.
“Heh heh, Rias, you really are such a ‘tolerant’ woman.”
Gently touching her lips, Sitri Sona emphasized the word ‘tolerant’.
“Believe me, Sona, you’ll be like this in the future too.”
…
With a serious expression on her face, Rias’ response left Sitri Sona momentarily speechless.
“Rias, what is your true purpose? Don’t tell me you only want to expose my relationship with that guy.”
After composing herself, Sitri Sona asked again.
“Well done, Sona.”
“Indeed, making our relationship clear between Tenraku and Sona and ensuring that Sona won’t intentionally avoid me anymore is just one aspect of my goal. Apart from that, I have some other plans.”
“W-what plans?”
Knowing that Rias was still complaining about her deliberately avoiding her, Sitri Sona couldn’t help but blush slightly.
“Sona, you’ve probably heard about it. The next Rating Game will be a showdown between Tenraku and me.”
“Because of the turmoil in the Underworld, the timing might be delayed a bit, but as long as the Underworld hasn’t been destroyed, this showdown will definitely happen.”
“I want to have a fair and square duel with Tenraku. I also want to prove myself to him. But with Tenraku’s current strength, no matter how hard I try, I won’t be able to beat him, will I?”
“Indeed, Kamiya Tenraku has grown to an incredible extent. In terms of strength alone, he’s probably not weaker than the Demon Kings,” Rias stated, and Sitri Sona nodded in agreement.
“So, I proposed a suggestion to my Older brother, and he agreed!” Rias’s eyes sparkled with a hint of satisfaction, seemingly pleased with her suggestion.
“What suggestion?” Intrigued by Rias’s expression, Sitri Sona couldn’t help but ask.
“I suggested to older brother…” Rias leaned in close to Sona’s ear and whispered. After hearing the proposal, Sitri Sona’s expression became quite spectacular.
“Sirzechs actually agreed to such a proposal? There has never been a rule like this in the entire history of Rating Games!”
“Cheating, Rias! This is blatant cheating!” Staring at Rias in disbelief, it’s no wonder Sitri Sona was so agitated. The proposed suggestion she heard was truly astonishing.
“I-I’m just trying to give us a little advantage, knowing that I would lose to Tenraku and still trying so hard… I would feel unsatisfied,” Rias argued, her face turning slightly red. Her rare and adorable expression made Akeno and Shinra Tsubaki on the side couldn’t help but chuckle.
Slightly taken aback, Sitri Sona felt that Rias did have a point.
This could indeed be a good opportunity…
And, giving that guy a little challenge seemed quite fun!
The next morning—
The attendants served a sumptuous breakfast, and Tenraku and Rias’s group quietly enjoyed their meal.
“Rias, Sona, you two…”
Looking at Rias sitting opposite him, Tenraku couldn’t help but feel a strange sensation in his heart.
Their atmosphere seemed a bit too harmonious. Just last night, it didn’t feel quite like this.
“What’s wrong with us, Tenraku?” Rias lifted her head, smiling, and even Sitri Sona’s expression was full of tenderness.
“N-Nothing.” Even though both women looked so beautiful and charming, Tenraku couldn’t shake the strange feeling in his heart. Wisely, he chose not to ask further and lowered his head to continue eating his meal.
Seeing Tenraku’s reaction, Rias and Sona’s smiles became even more radiant and gentle…
After breakfast, Tenraku and the women were ready for battle, and Grayfia appeared in front of them at the right moment.
“The battle has begun. Follow me.”
