EPHS-Chapter 293 I Am Tenraku-sama’s Tool

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

“Raynare, you’ve become the lapdog of that Red Dragon Emperor, and it seems like you’re doing quite well.” Chessia’s voice was laced with a cold and mocking tone as she spoke.

“Ah, ever since I became Master’s follower, my entire soul has been set free.” Raynare replied lazily while stretching her body, not taking any offense to Chessia’s words

“Set free? Hē Hē Hē…”

“Raynare, you’re as shameless as ever. You’re clearly a traitor—!” Chessia’s expression hardened, and she couldn’t help but chuckle at Raynara’s audacity. Just how shameless could this girl be?

“A traitor? Are you talking about betraying Azazel?” Raynare’s eyes narrowed as she spoke while emitting a hint of black aura from her body.

“Stop pretending to be a fool. You’re not even worthy to mention Azazel Sama!”

“Betraying Azazel Sama and betraying the Fallen Angels. How can someone like you, a traitor, have the pride to live in this world?!”

Chessia’s anger was evident from the tone of her voice, and she and the fallen angel girls behind her glared angrily at Raynare.

While they were all evil Fallen Angels, they equally despised despicable traitors!

“You are quite a poor soul, Chessia. Are you still worshiping Azazel, hoping one day he’ll reciprocate your pathetic love?”

Looking at the group of supposed former companions, Raynare’s expression softened with pity as she spoke.

“And so what if we are? One day, Azazel Sama will understand our love for him and accept us. Unlike you, the traitor, who will never have a chance!” Chessia coldly sneered, not denying it. However, Raynara’s eyes were brimming with tears as she burst into laughter: “Love from Azazel? Hē Hē Hē, that’s truly laughable.”

“Tch, Chessia, no matter what you do, Azazel won’t be interested in you. How long will you keep deceiving yourselves?”

“While it’s just my personal speculation, I fear that Azazel has lost any interest in women long ago. No matter how hard you try, you won’t achieve anything!”

“Hē Hē Hēhē hē…”

Clutching her belly, Raynare’s face was filled with a scornful smile.

“You’re spouting nonsense!”

To insult Azazel Sama by saying he has lost interest in women, Chessia and the other fallen angel girls were almost driven mad by anger.

“It doesn’t matter if I’m spouting nonsense. What can you do about it?!” With a cold look in his eyes, Raynare wore an expression of disdain on her face as she spoke.

She had no qualms about tarnishing Azazel’s reputation. Moreover, this wasn’t entirely unjustified.

Many female Fallen Angels admired Azazel, hoping to earn his love. However, Azazel was always indifferent and uninterested. He often frequented human geisha houses in Northern Europe, often in the company of the old man Odin. That Odin, even if he weren’t ill, undoubtedly had some peculiar quirks. Raynare was certain of that.

As Raynare stared defiantly at the enraged Chessia and the other fallen angel girls, their eyes were practically burning with anger. If not for being on Devil territory, they would have probably tried to stab this infuriating woman.

How dare she defile their great Lord Azazel!

Although Chessia and her group were almost devouring Raynare with their gazes, she seemed utterly unfazed. As she looked at these foolish women, it was like she was seeing her past self.

She, too, had once been like them, worshipping the powerful Azazel, willing to give her heart and soul to die for him. Thinking back, it was truly ridiculous, and she felt so foolish now that she thought about it!

Only her Master was the true greatness in this world worth following. What was Azazel compared to him?

Regardless of whether it was out of resentment or revenge, in Raynare’s heart, Azazel was already worthless. She was a petty woman— so what could they do to her?

Despite her fury, seeing Raynare’s unyielding attitude, Chessia began to calm down gradually. She raised her hand to stop the almost explosive reaction from the other fallen angel girls.

Her gaze fell on Mittelt and Kalawarner, who had remained silent the whole time and a strange glint flashed in Chessia’s eyes as an idea formed in her mind.

“Hey, Mittelt, Kalawarner, would you like to come back to our side?” Chessia smiled mischievously as she spoke, and at her words, Mittelt and Kalawarner’s expressions changed. Even Raynare’s face darkened instantly.

Damn Chessia, she actually wants to sow discord between them!

However, Mittelt and Kalawarner hadn’t said anything yet, but the other fallen angel girls behind Chessia were already growing restless.

“Chessia-Sama, Mittelt and Kalawarner are just as much traitors as Raynare!”

“Shut up! Mittelt and Kalawarner were surely forced by Raynare!”

Chessia glared coldly at the fallen angel who had just spoken and wished she could slap some sense into her. The ice-cold gaze made the other fallen angel girls instinctively feel a hint of fear, but they quickly gathered their wits.

“Chessia-Sama is right. Mittelt and Kalawarner must have been coerced by Raynare. They are so loyal, after all!”

“Mittelt, Kalawarner, you should come back. We forgive you.”

“Yes, yes, Mittelt, Kalawarner, we are your companions.”

With each word, the fallen angel girls extended invitations to Mittelt and Kalawarner to return. Though they seemed tolerant and friendly, their eyes were filled with coldness and irony.

Raynare continued to smirk, knowing Mittelt and Kalawarner were no fools. If they blindly returned to their side…

Hē Hē, their fate could be quite miserable!

“Why, Mittelt, Kalawarner, are you really going to betray us and Lord Azazel?”

Seeing Mittelt and Kalawarner lower their heads and remain silent, Chessia narrowed her eyes and exuded a powerful cold aura.

“Chessia-Sama, we… we…”

Back when they were part of the Fallen Angel faction, Chessia had been far superior to Mittelt and Kalawarner in terms of both status and power. Even now, after breaking away from the Fallen Angels to follow Tenraku, Mittelt and Kalawarner still retained a certain fear of Chessia.

“Chessia, don’t bother. They won’t go back to you.” Raynare’s voice accompanied her movement to Mittelt’s side, where she gently caressed Mittelt’s face.

“This child is quite content with her current life. As Master’s tool, she has found meaning and value in her existence.”

“Mittelt, tell them. You are Master’s tool and will never betray him.”

Leaning close to Mittelt’s ear, Raynare commanded.

Mittelt’s body stiffened. She had no doubt that if she defied Raynare and refused to obey, this deranged woman would readily crush her throat without hesitation.

“I… I’m sorry, Chessia-Sama. I am Tenraku-sama’s tool and cannot betray him.”

“Are you serious, Mittelt?” Chessia’s lips twitched as she confirmed.

They were actually calling themselves tools. These individuals had really sunk to this level, hadn’t they?!

“Well…”

Avoiding Chessia’s gaze, Mittelt hung her head low.

Although threatened by Raynare, Mittelt was genuinely satisfied with her current life. Though she was treated as a tool, being physically and spiritually controlled by Tenraku-Sama, she felt an unprecedented sense of fulfillment. She was acknowledged, needed, and had a reliable group of comrades, even in battles.

But most importantly, she had deeply grasped the immense potential of the man named Kamiya Tenraku and worshipped him madly from the depths of her heart.

“Kalawarner, are you the same?”

Wearing an unpleasant expression on her face, Chessia turned her attention to Kalawarner.

“Yes, Chessia-Sama. I won’t betray Tenraku-sama.” Kalawarner replied with more composure than Mittelt.

“Hē Hē Hē… Chessia, it seems your plan has failed. Mittelt and Kalawarner won’t return with you.” Giggling mischievously, Chessia’s defeated appearance brought satisfaction to Raynare’s heart and she immediately retorted with sarcasm.

Gritting her teeth, and with a dark expression on her face, Chessia desired nothing more than to kill these three s*uts right now. However, her rationality warned her against taking action here. Otherwise, they would all end up in serious trouble.

“We’re leaving!”

Unable to start a fight, unable to separate them, and with her plot foiled, Chessia called her subordinates and prepared to leave.

“Chessia, do you really think you can escape like this?” Flashing in front of them, Raynare lazily spoke.

“Raynare, are you trying to stop us from leaving?” Chessia narrowed her eyes and suppressed her anger.

“Hey, Chessia, leaving like this is too boring. How about we go somewhere private to have some fun?” Raynare suggested with a wicked smile.

“Raynare, are you so eager to die?!” Chessia’s anger turned into laughter as she spoke.

Setting aside the fact that Raynare was never her match back when they were with the Fallen Angels, and that their numbers here were twice that of the opposing side, Chessia couldn’t fathom where Raynare’s courage to oppose her so boldly came from!

“Who knows who will die in the end. Let’s go. I’ll be waiting for you outside.”

Raynare laughed inwardly, amused by the situation. She instantly responded with a taunt.
