However, the ring in Zamasu’s possession had been modified with dark magic, allowing him to freely travel to different timelines, like a person using an elevator to go to any floor of any building on a street.
This ability far exceeded the original function Supreme Kai of Time endowed the Time Ring with.
Not to mention, the magic on the ring prevented Chronoa from observing the owner of the ring through the Power of Time.
