A hand with black nails rose and a purple-black energy sphere immediately appeared at the tip of Beerus’ finger.
In an instant, everyone present felt the terrifying energy within the energy sphere.
And King Vegeta, who had witnessed Beerus’ Power of Destruction before, was so nervous that his legs trembled as he hastily explained.
“Be-Beerus-sama! These people are truly the Super Saiyan Gods!”
“Super Saiyan God is formed by gathering six Saiyans with righteous hearts and infusing their righteous energy into one person!”
“You know that Saiyans are originally a warrior race, killing is something we excel at, but finding someone among us with a righteous heart is not easy. So in the end, those confirmed to have a righteous heart are these young ones, most of whom were once considered low-class warriors and even trash!”
“Oh?”
Seeing King Vegeta’s anxious explanation, Beerus glanced at Whis beside him.
“He’s not wrong, Beerus-sama. In the past, Saiyans couldn’t be considered a righteous race, and Saiyans and justice didn’t go together. Even Broly doesn’t possess a righteous heart.”
“Is that so? But what about Oracle Fish’s prophecy? There must be other powerful Saiyans with a heart of justice, right?”
Beerus dissipated the Power of Destruction at his fingertips and suddenly thought of something, clapping his hands.
“Right, what about that new Saiyan King of yours? His name is Lin… Lin Chen?”
“Yes, Beerus-sama. His Majesty’s Earth name is indeed Lin Chen,” King Vegeta nodded.
“Oh, what about Lin Chen? He changed you Saiyans so much; he should have a righteous heart, right?”
This time, Bardock stepped forward. “Beerus-sama, come to think of it, His Majesty Links does seem to possess the Super Saiyan God transformation.”
“Really!”
Beerus’ eyes lit up, and he became excited. “Then where is he? Hurry and bring him out! I want to challenge him!”
“Well…”
Bardock hesitated and said, “Beerus-sama, His Majesty has been frequently going outside training for these past years, and we’re not sure of his current whereabouts.”
“Not sure?” Beerus’ gaze sharpened, and the dark purple Power of Destruction emerged at his fingertips once again.
Bardock hurriedly continued, “Wait, Beerus-sama, even though His Majesty is not here, there are other formidable Saiyans here. They might prove to be worthy opponents for you!”
“Other powerful Saiyans?”
Beerus was somewhat skeptical. Despite the changes Saiyans had undergone in the past few decades, he still looks down on their overall strength.
To suddenly have a genius appear among all the Saiyans was possible, but to believe that many geniuses who could become his powerful rival had emerged in these forty years, Beerus was the first to doubt.
“It’s true, Your Majesty! Right behind you, Broly is a genius no weaker than you!” Bardock pointed at Broly.
Beerus turned to look at Broly for a moment. He was indeed a genius, but as Whis had already mentioned, Broly was inherently a demon, lacking any righteous heart, and couldn’t become a Super Saiyan God.
Upon hearing this, Bardock hesitated for a moment. “If Broly can’t do it, then perhaps Kakarot and Vegeta might meet your requirements, Beerus-sama.”
“Kakarot? Vegeta?” Beerus turned to King Vegeta. “Hey, King Vegeta, is one of them your child?”
“Ye-Yes, Beerus-sama. Kakarot and Vegeta are, indeed, the two most outstanding geniuses among the Saiyans, just below His Majesty and Broly.”
“Where are they?” Beerus inquired.
“They should be on Earth. Both of them have family on Earth, so they have been living there,” Bardock explained.
“Earth? I seem to have heard of it,” Beerus mused.
Whis interjected, “Beerus-sama, the wine you had earlier is from Earth.”
“Oh, that place!” Beerus’ eyes lit up. “The one with lots of delicious food, bento, ramen, and ice cream?”
“Yes!”
“Wow! Whis, I’m hungry. Take us there quickly!” Beerus exclaimed, swallowing hard, and he urged Whis, leaving Bardock and the others behind.
“Let’s go! If I can’t find my archrival this time, I’ll destroy both Planet Vegeta and Earth!”
Whis smiled faintly and left Planet Vegeta with Beerus and Broly.
Witnessing this scene, the others remained stunned for a while.
Then, Bardock suddenly clapped his hands to rouse the others. “King Vegeta, hurry and inform Vegeta and Kakarot about Beerus-sama. Also, find out where His Majesty is! This situation might require His Majesty’s intervention!”
Meanwhile, on Earth, at Bulma’s house.
Today wasn’t any special occasion, but most of the Earth’s Z Fighters, along with Lin Chen’s family, were gathered at Bulma’s house for a meal.
Tights, Lazuli, Android 18, Chi-Chi, and others were chatting and laughing with Bulma, while Goku, Krillin and others were eating and chatting nearby.
Some of these people hadn’t seen each other in a while.
“Hey, Son Goku, you seem to have become stronger than before?” Piccolo inquired.
“I can’t help it. Vegeta and I felt like we hit a ceiling these past years. Satan told us about that transformation of Brother Lin Chen’s, but we couldn’t figure it out, so we’ve just been focusing on basic training,” Goku explained, feeling helpless.
Vegeta, standing nearby, coldly snorted. “Kakarot, don’t compare me to you. I will definitely break through before you do!”
Goku and Vegeta were talking about the transformation Lin Chen had used against Android 21 – Super Saiyan 4.
Although Goku and Vegeta hadn’t seen it firsthand, Goku became familiar with Satan after Gohan and Videl, Satan’s daughter, got married.
One day, they had talked about that battle, which revealed the existence of Super Saiyan 4 beyond Super Saiyan 3 to Goku.
Goku and Vegeta realized that they might not be able to comprehend the Power of Law, so they decided to learn from Lin Chen’s transformation.
However, neither Goku or Vegeta, who heard about it later, could figure out how to achieve the Super Saiyan 4 transformation. Satan was too far away at that time to see clearly.
While Goku and Vegeta were discussing Super Saiyan 4, on the other side, the younger generation, including Gohan, Lin Luo, and Taro, were chatting among themselves.
Time had flown by, and Lin Chen’s two children had also grown up, though their changes were less pronounced than Gohan’s.
After not seeing him for several years, the former Gohan now was wearing glasses and had become a scholar.
“Gohan, even though you’re married now, do you really need to change this much?” Taro remarked, looking at Gohan, almost unable to recognize him.
