Future Dr. Gero, however, remained calm. “Don’t worry, Cell. Can you deal with this trouble?”
“Of course, Father.”
Cell bowed slightly, and when it raised its head, its eyes suddenly lit up. A barely noticeable energy shield had enveloped the three of them.
“What is this?” Dr. Gero asked curiously.
“Spiritual isolation. Now that Kami can no longer see us,” Cell explained.
Dr. Gero expressed a sense of awe as he remarked to his other self: “The other me, your Cell certainly knows many skills.”
Future Dr. Gero smiled. “I had no choice. In my world, most of the strong ones were killed by the Saiyans, so I had to incorporate cells from races with special abilities into Cell’s body.”
