Another World.
Earth.
On the land covered with dark clouds, a dazzling light flashed by and Trunks, aboard the time machine, returned to his own world.
However, as soon as the time machine landed, Trunks discovered something strange.
In front of him, what used to be West City had turned into ruins.
Cold winds blew through the ruins, emitting a mournful wail, and burning buildings could be seen everywhere, emitting a crackling sound.
“What’s going on? Mom? Oh no!”
Trunks was shaken, unable to understand why his world had undergone such enormous changes in such a short period of time.
On his way flying towards the Capsule Corporation, Trunks saw corpses scattered all over the ground, a scene of devastation that worsened his mood.
Soon after, when Trunks arrived at Capsule Corporation, he found the once towering corporate building collapsed on the ground.
The ground full of holes seemed to have been bombarded by countless shells, transforming it into a rugged and uneven terrain.
“Damn it! What the hell happened?”
Just as Trunks despairingly shouted……..a sudden voice brought him back to his senses.
“Trunks? You’re back?”
“Mom?”
Trunks lowered his head and immediately noticed to his surprise that his mother Bulma had emerged from beneath the pile of debris in the midst of the ruins.
It turned out there was an emergency shelter hidden underneath all this.
Seeing his mother unharmed, tears welled up in Trunks’ eyes, and he rushed down to embrace her.
“It’s alright, Trunks. I’m fine. Let’s go down first, or else it’ll be bad if the Androids find us.”
“Androids?”
With disheveled hair and a weary expression, Bulma walked into the basement as Trunks asked in confusion: “Mom, what exactly happened? I didn’t leave for long, how did West City end up like this?”
“It was the Androids. Not long after you left, Dr. Gero’s Android army attacked!” Bulma said, “The guards your father left behind to protect me all died. I managed to escape here before the Androids attacked, and that’s how I luckily survived…..”
Speaking of this, Bulma looked up. “By the way, Trunks, how did it go? Did you succeed? Did you go back to the past?”
“Mom, I did arrive in another world, but that world isn’t the past of our world. It’s a different parallel universe.”
“What? Tell me the details.”
“Alright.” Trunks proceeded to recount his experience in the other world.
After listening, Bulma couldn’t help but be surprised, “Such a thing actually happened? Who is this Lin Chen? There doesn’t seem to be anyone like him among the Saiyans. Moreover, he can travel to parallel worlds without using a time machine? How is that even possible?”
“I’m not entirely sure about the specifics, but Mr. Lin Chen’s strength is undoubtedly unquestionable! Mom, you may not know, but I witnessed Mr. Lin Chen’s strength, and it surpasses mine by far. Even Dad would probably be far from his match! If Mr. Lin Chen came to our world, he could annihilate all the Androids in an instant!” Trunks said excitedly.
“Unfortunately, Mr. Lin Chen doesn’t want to come to our world, but he’s willing to train me and help me surpass the limits of a Super Saiyan!”
Trunks grabbed Bulma’s hand. “Mom, Mr. Lin Chen said I need to train for at least a year. During this time, please find a place to hide. Once I come back, we can end all of this!”
“I understand, but Trunks, time machine still needs time to gather energy. You’ll have to wait a little longer before you can go.”
Trunks gritted his teeth. “I understand, Mom, please do it as quickly as possible. Androids have come to Earth, and we don’t know how long this world can hold on…”
“Okay,” Bulma nodded.
But… little did Trunks know that as he looked forward to the future, in an unknown space, Dr. Gero narrowed his eyes as he watched Trunks on the screen.
“Saiyan King from another world? Damn it, how can this happen? I absolutely cannot allow anyone to disrupt my plans!”
Just as Dr. Gero was about to press a switch, suddenly, a piercing alarm sounded at his location.
Dr. Gero’s eyes widened and he hurriedly shouted, “Computer, what’s going on?”

A screen lit up, and a mechanical electronic voice answered, “Doctor, the troops attacking the Galactic Patrol have been ambushed and completely annihilated. Powerful energy reactions have been detected.”
“What? My troops has been completely wiped out? Who could it be?”

In the next moment, two figures appeared on the screen in front of Dr. Gero, engaged in battle. One was tall, and the other was short, but both possessed formidable strength. In front of them, the Android army that was sent to attack the Galactic Patrol’s headquarters kept retreating and was on the verge of collapse.
“Damn it! Who are these two? How dare they interfere with my plans? Hmph, no one can stop me now, no matter who it is! Computer! Send Android 32 to lead the attack!”

A storm was brewing in Future Trunks’ world, and dark clouds shrouded Lin Chen’s world as well.
After confirming Dr. Gero’s suspicious activities, Lin Chen decided to personally confront him at the Android Research Institute.
As a precaution, King Vegeta and others also volunteered to accompany him, but Lin Chen only allowed Bardock and Lazuli to go with him.
At the same time, the prohibition order on Androids began to circulate among various combat units. Until it was confirmed that there was nothing wrong with Dr. Gero, Lin Chen didn’t want those who were fighting outside to suddenly face betrayal.

Seeing the facility, Lazuli by Lin Chen’s side suddenly spoke up, “This place feels somewhat familiar.”
“What do you mean?” Lin Chen asked.
Lazuli gazed around. “It looks similar to the interior design of Dr. Gero’s institute in my world.”
“Is that so?”
Just then, several figures approached them. The one leading them was none other than the wrinkled-faced Dr. Gero, and behind him were several alien scientists recruited from other civilizations to serve as assistants.
“Welcome, Your Majesty Lin Chen. What brings you here today?”
