APJ Chapter 359 Is this guy an M?

Chinjao’s head was flattened by Garp, and although he lost his prideful drill-shaped head, his Armament Haki remained strong.

Zeraora and Chinjao’s fists clashed repeatedly, and after probing him out for a while, Chinjao once again used his head to ram into Zeraora.

Though the Hasshoken* has word fist, each generation of users employs it differently. Chinjao uses his head, Sai uses his feet, making this martial art more akin to a special technique for generating power.  [*Eight Impacts Fist]

Faced with Chinjao’s downward headbutt, Zeraora didn’t meet it head-on. Instead, he leveraged his flying advantage to evade the attack and kicked at Chinjao’s head from the side.

Boom!

A thunderous boom echoed across the Jewel Ice Sheet.

Chinjao didn’t expect Zeraora to not go for a direct clash but to opt for this method instead. With the momentum from heading downward and Zeraora’s kick, he smashed down on the ice surface.

Boom! Boom!

The Jewel Ice Sheet was not only sturdy but also incredibly smooth. Chinjao slid on it for quite a distance before coming to a stop.

Moreover, during this process, some ice columns on the ice surface were also broken due to Chinjao’s body colliding with them. These ice columns, unlike the ice sheet below, were not as sturdy, and the tremendous sound was the noise of the ice columns collapsing.

However, it was all due to Zeraora using Chinjao’s power against himself.

There was a clattering sound from collapsed ice columns as Chinjao’s figure emerged from within. Fragments of the broken ice columns continued to fall, and apart from some damage to his clothes, he didn’t appear to be injured.

“Hiyahoho, you cunning brat, but you’re nowhere close to defeating me this way! Treasure thief!”

“We’ve already told you, we’re not treasure thieves. This is just a misunderstanding. We were simply curious about the ice layer, and also we came here to see the aurora. At your age, shouldn’t you be less hot-headed?”

Looking at the angry Chinjao, Zeraora’s tone remained unchanged. If Chinjao was only this fast, then he would never be able to touch him.

However, Chinjao still didn’t accept his explanation. He continued to attack Zeraora from various angles, but Zeraora managed to dodge every attack.

“You brat, what are you afraid of? If you have the guts, then face me head-on! You managed to open the Jewel Ice Sheet, so what are you afraid of now?”

“I just don’t want to stir up trouble during our vacation.”

Zeraora recognized the characters “Happo” on Chinjao’s clothes. Happo Navy was the local power in Kano Country, and he didn’t want to spoil Setsuna’s family’s mood during their vacation.

Setsuna shared a similar sentiment. She believed that once Chinjao calmed down, he might be more receptive to reason. However, they underestimated how much Chinjao valued the treasures here.

In a situation where he couldn’t land a blow on Zeraora, Chinjao changed his target and aimed for Setsuna.

He didn’t believe that these two Minks both possessed such strength.

However, even though Setsuna couldn’t match Zeraora’s power, she wasn’t a pushover either. As Chinjao charged towards her, a peculiar light flashed in her eyes.

Fighting-type move – “Detect.”

If Protect was another version of the Barrier-Barrier Fruit, then “Detect” is a short-term Observation Haki that can predict the future – Chinjao’s next attack location, his intentions, strength, and how to block it – all this information quickly flashed through Setsuna’s mind.

Then, Setsuna’s claws extended and gleamed with a metallic sheen. The intersecting metal claws successfully blocked Chinjao’s strike, but due to the tremendous impact and the slippery ice surface, she was sent sliding a considerable distance.

Setsuna’s frail body managing to withstand Chinjao’s head butt took him by surprise, but suddenly, powerful electric currents erupted out in the air.

Crackling sounds filled the air, and before he could turn around, Zeraora’s kick landed on him.

“You don’t listen to other’s explanation, do you?”

Zeraora didn’t mind taking his time to play with Chinjao, as long as he didn’t involve Setsuna.

“Hiyahoho, are you angry? Seeing you standing on my treasures, I felt the same as you.”

Hearing Chinjao’s words, Zeraora suddenly understood something.

“It seems like normal means won’t work. I’ll have to make you surrender first.”

“Go ahead and try it if you can. But with you acting like a slippery eel, I doubt you have the ability.”

The ponytail-like thing on Zeraora’s back began to flutter with electrical currents. Those familiar with Zeraora knew that this was a sign of his anger.

“Hasshoken Secret Art – Non-Drill Dragon Non Nail.”

This was originally Hasshoken’s ultimate secret technique, Drill Dragon Nail. But after his head was flattened, Chinjao’s technique evolved into this unique technique.

“I know a Marine who always likes to say, ‘Speed is power.’ I’ll give you that phrase today.”

Lazy King Borsalino’s words were echoed by Zeraora. Faced with Chinjao, who had jumped into the sky to enhance the power of his attack with his own body weight, he did not intend to dodge again.

Electric currents surrounded his body, and almost all of his limbs entered an electrified state. However, it wasn’t elementalization, but rather plasma of Plasma Fists. In this state, Zeraora’s speed will reach its peak.

Without using Magnet Rise, he stamped his feet firmly on the ice surface, and using the recoil, met the falling Chinjao.

“Mega Kick!”

The term “million tons” was just an exaggerated figure, not the actual force of the kick. [*Mega Kick’s literal translation is Million Ton Kick.]

However, it was a powerful kick, and with the boost from Plasma Fists, Zeraora’s Normal-type attack was converted into an Electric-type attack. As a same-type move, he could unleash even greater power with this kick.

Boom!

The lightning-charged foot and the head enveloped in Haki collided with each other, and the area of their contact became the center of impact, causing the shockwaves generated to almost rip through the atmosphere.

Bang!

After a brief collision, both of them almost simultaneously fell down. However, Zeraora remained standing, while Chinjao was once again sent flying, this time crashing into more ice columns than before, creating cracks in the ice surface.

“Zeraora!”

“I’m fine, but if this guy remains stubborn, we might have to travel to a different country.”

The outcome of the fight, regardless of whether Chinjao was killed, meant that they could no longer stay in Kano Country.

The attack was powerful enough that Chinjao hadn’t emerged yet, but Zeraora knew that such an attack wouldn’t kill an opponent of this caliber. A person with a bounty that had exceeded five hundred million ten years ago was undoubtedly a formidable individual on the sea.

As he expected, not long after, Chinjao climbed out once again. However, this time, he had a smile on his face, and he raised both of his hands, indicating that he didn’t want to continue fighting.

“Zeraora, could this guy be an M?”

Watching Chinjao’s smiling face, this weird thought crossed Setsuna’s mind.
