Swimming was as natural as breathing for Fish-Men, but Jack, in his transformed state, faced a problem when he entered the water. Although he could still float on the surface, it was much more difficult than in his normal state.

In the water, Jack transformed into the complete form of Copperajah, and then he sank to the bottom. Although he could move without getting tired, he couldn’t float.
This was in stark contrast to Mandrell; he can only move underwater when using his ability. His fish form is the fastest for swimming, while Jack can swim in his Human-Beast form but sinks when in his Beast form. However, Fish-Men’s racial talent made him not particularly concerned about this.
In fact, this allowed him to better execute his underwater tactics. He was still young, and as he grew, his transformed form would become larger. At that time, a metallic giant elephant weighing over ten tons entangling an enemy underwater would be a terrifying sight. For non-aquatic races, this is nearly devastating.
