PC Chapter 91 Hunters

Nosepass… It’s evolving!

Terrance was surprised, while Yuko was stunned.

Watching the Nosepass suddenly evolving in front of her, along with the other three Nosepass that plunged into the white light, she wore a surprised expression.

“This one’s evolving too?”

“Well, these four Nosepass look quite special. Let me catch this one.”

Yuko clenched her fists, eagerly watching Nosepass evolve. Then, the white light dispersed, revealing Probopass before them.

Terrance had already walked out and, facing the Nosepass blocking his path, he commanded without hesitation.

“Beautifly, Electroweb.”

Terrance gave the order to Beautifly.

“Beaaautifly…”

A crackling electric net immobilized the Nosepass, and then Terrance walked in Yuko’s direction.

“Rock Throw?”

Nosepass kept approaching Terrance, but thanks to Beautifly’s String Shot, even heavy stones couldn’t easily land on him.

“Silver Wind!”

He kept clearing the obstructing stones. Terrance didn’t choose to go around, instead he had Beautifly blow them all away.

From Orange’s perspective, Terrance’s actions were those of a seemingly quiet guy who suddenly burst out and, with great determination, cleared away the obstacles in his path, steadily moving towards a certain destination.

Then… she saw Probopass and Yuko, who were about to battle, interrupted by a burst of red light.

Red light…

Letting out and recalling Pokemon, the light emitted by Poke Balls.

“What’s this, you captured it?”

Watching Terrance approach with a Poke Ball in hand, Yuko stopped her command and asked with some confusion.

“Of course not, how could I do that so easily? These four Nosepass were originally released by me,” Terrance explained.

“Yours? So, these Nosepass were already captured. No wonder their behavior was so strange,” Yuko suddenly realized. “Congratulations, they’ve evolved.”

After recalling Probopass, Terrance felt a sense of relief. There was still some time left in his task of assisting Nosepass in evolving. In the meantime, the newly evolved Probopass could assist him in some special training.

“Gravity… It should have learned that move by now?”

Nosepass completed its evolution, so Terrance stepped back. For the remaining period, it was clear that the evolution of the other Nosepass would keep on going.

They participated in this battle, which was unlike the usual one-on-one or double battles, and many of the students gained profound insights and benefited greatly.

In the end, out of the dozens of Nosepass present, only three managed to evolve successfully, aside from those brought by Terrance.

The peak concentration of the special magnetic field was only temporary. Next, the complex environment of Mt. Coronet would cause the magnetic field to reappear elsewhere. As for where it would appear, there was no discernible pattern to follow.

After the battle, their Pokemon were greatly exhausted. Terrance and Orange, as Breeder Class students, took on the responsibility of tending to their Pokemon’s injuries and providing them with suitable food to replenish their energy.

This battle could be described as “high-intensity combat.” There was no rest, and Trainers couldn’t afford a moment of leisure. They were fully immersed in the battle from start to finish, and such battles were excellent for honing a Trainer’s willpower.

“That was so exhilarating,” Tobias sat on the ground, watching the scattered Nosepass in the distance and sighing, “If it were one-on-one battles, they wouldn’t stand a chance against me, but when their numbers increase, they become a bit challenging.”

“It’s such a pity…” Yuko sighed, still feeling discouraged that she couldn’t capture a Probopass.

“Those three Mini-Nose were too cunning, they blocked the path with a pile of rocks while I wasn’t paying attention and then ran away.”

“I’ve no interest in them. I have got Sceptile, and that’s enough,” Misanji replied.

A cold wind blew.

On another road of Mt. Coronet.

Several large trucks rolled heavily over the ground, moving forward without interruption.

Inside the truck, it resembled more of a meeting room.

A middle-aged man in a black leather jacket, with a somewhat stern expression on his face, propped his head up with his hand as he coldly scanned the man sitting across from him at the round table.

“Why did you call me along and go to a place like this? That thing should exist elsewhere too.”

“You know… I hate snow the most. Just seeing snow makes me want to melt it all.”

Across from him, a gray-haired man cleared his throat. “I’ve been spotted. The other locations have already been put under surveillance. There’s only one left… the one that was discovered by accident.”

“This is the last step. If we succeed, we can wrap things up.”

“I promise you will never be short of money, and whether you will need to take action or not is still unknown. I hope everything goes smoothly.”

“So boring. I’m tired of doing illegal things. After this is over, I’ll take the money you promised and quit all future operations.” said the man in the black leather jacket.

“As you wish,” the gray-haired man replied.

The man in black jacket stood up, climbed the ladder inside the truck. Looking at the snow-white scenery in front of him, he let out a bored sigh.

“It’s the scent of those hunters again.”

There were a total of four trucks, and in the frontmost truck, a man who looked like a researcher operated a computer. A blue, special light orb continuously blinked, occasionally accompanied by beeping sounds.

“Target response is strong……”

“Located in a desolate area……”

“No signs of human presence……”

A series of information was transmitted to the gray-haired man, but he only glanced at them casually, ignoring these useless detections.

If the observation was useful, they wouldn’t have been pursued all the way here.

“Relay to Team Two, be cautious of the surroundings. If there’s even the slightest disturbance, raise the alert level immediately.”

On the other side, the group heading towards North Lake, after the “Nosepass evolution incident,” continued to advance towards their destination.

As they moved forward, they soon encountered new Pokémon. In Mt. Coronet, there was no lack of Pokémon.

Among them were Pokémon with outstanding strength, like the Medicham that now stood before them. Even the two students of the Graduation Class would find it challenging in a one-on-one battle.

Medicham is a dual-type Pokémon, both Fighting and Psychic, known for its rigorous yoga training in the snowy mountains. It can suppress opponents like a storm with its fighting techniques. As long as it is focused and concentrated, it has the power to predict its opponent’s movements in advance. It fights in a graceful manner, like dancing.

The first Pokémon sent out by Jinbe was immediately pushed back.

However, the battle didn’t last long. It was clear that this Medicham had no intention of engaging in combat. After a few rounds of fighting, it immediately left the area.

And so, as they encountered and battled different Pokémon along the way, they drew closer and closer to North Lake.
