The white waves exploded while mist swirling around the area. The force of a single punch cracked the air, making the sea tremble and wail, conjuring waves over a hundred meters high!
Several nearby Pirate Ships and Battleships didn’t stand a chance to evade. In an instant, they were struck by the soaring waves.
The fragile Pirate Ships instantly disintegrated into splinters amidst the surging waves, and even the sturdy Marine Battleships constantly tilted under the onslaught, and they were on the brink of capsizing.
“Rowen?!”
“No… this familiar entrance…!!”
Tsuru took a deep breath, gesturing with her eyes for Onigumo and the others to go assist the Battleships. She stood her ground, parting the seawater, and the expression on her face turned dark as her pointed teeth bellowed, “Garp! Are you trying to kill us?!”
Besides Garp, who else could pull off something like this?
“Haha! Don’t be like that, Tsuru-chan. I fell from 5000 meters high, can’t blame it all on me!”
Suddenly, a majestic figure burst forth from the waves. With that familiar raucous laughter and crossed-arms posture, as soon as he appeared on the battlefield, everything fell momentarily silent.
“G-Garp!!”
“Run! Iron Fist is here!!”
“Wasn’t Marine Hero supposed to stay out of this? How did he get here?!!”
“What about King Sama?! Quick, save him!!”
The Hundred Beast Pirates’ ship was in chaos, screams of panic echoing all around. Pirate after pirate stared wide-eyed, trying to deny this reality.
In the eyes of Kaido, Big Mom, and Whitebeard, the three Admirals were just juniors, little brats. No matter how wary they were inside, a trace of disdain inevitably seeped into their tones.
But Garp, Sengoku, and the still-formidable Zephyr were undoubtedly Marine heroes who commanded respect from the three. Garp lived up to his title of “Marine Hero.”
In over a dozen full-scale wars between the Hundred Beast Pirates and the Marines, at least one-fifth of the pirates met their end beneath those iron fists.
The reputation of “Iron Fist” not only didn’t fade with time, but it grew deeper and more fragrant like a well-aged wine! This was an old monster who had earned his fearsome name through his fists!
His arrival instantly drained the pirates of any remaining courage to resist!
“Stop trying to smooth-talk me! How many Battleships have you smashed to bits?!”
Tsuru looked at Garp’s carefree expression and couldn’t contain her anger, scolding him angrily. Then, she suddenly remembered something, blinking her eyes. “Where’s Rowen?”
According to the original plan, it should have been Rowen appearing at this moment. So, if Garp was here, where was Rowen?
“He’s preparing a big surprise for Kaido!”
Garp raised his thumb, revealing a set of white teeth in a mischievous grin.
At this moment, Garp’s expression suddenly changed. He grabbed Tsuru and leapt away using Geppo.
Almost at the same time, they left their original position, a fiery red Fire Pillar, dozens of meters thick, shot into the sky, evaporating seawater with its scorching heat. The sea instantly filled with swirling clouds of steam, obscuring everything from view!
But soon, a cloud of red emerged behind the steam, Ash’s mouth tinged with blood, his eyes filled with a fierce and savage glare.
“That hurts, Garp!!” By now, most of his mask had been knocked off, revealing even larger burn scars that writhed and trembled with anger, resembling wicked spirits from Hell, their crimson eyes glaring.
“Oye, Conflagration brat!” Garp completely ignored King’s murderous gaze, greeting him like an old friend.
However, under Tsuru’s extremely unfriendly scrutiny, Garp’s face immediately turned cold. His arms, once casually crossed, now naturally hung down, and a fierce aura emanated from him.
“Last time, with Kaido’s help, I couldn’t kill you. This time… you won’t be so lucky!”
Desperation surged in many hearts as they heard those words!
“Asshole!!!”
King was utterly provoked by Garp’s contemptuous tone. Flames surged, igniting the drifting wreckage on the sea’s surface, transforming the Blue Sea into a sea of fire! Madness filled his eyes as flames billowed around him, resembling a blazing meteor, instantly rushing towards Garp.
Cremation · One Blade Style!!
This strike was different from the one used against Rowen. Rowen was a Logia Ability user, and ordinary flames would only disperse his body, causing no actual damage. Therefore, the emphasis was on disrupting the opponent.
However, Garp possessed a mortal body. Regardless of the attack, he had to rely solely on Haki to withstand it.
The engulfing flames were condensed and pressed tightly onto the blade, turning it a deep orange. Before the blade even reached, its razor-sharp edge cleaved through the sea, leaving a trench so deep it seemed bottomless!
Faced with this unmatched fiery cleave, including Onigumo, all the Vice Admirals were momentarily overtaken by a sense of helplessness. It was a strike that seemed undefeatable!
But then, Garp suddenly grinned. His slender left palm, without a hint of dodging or evasion, reached straight for the blade.
“Oye Brat!”
“That’s some power there…”
Ding!
A sharp, crisp sound rang out, sending ripples through the air as the rapidly approaching blade suddenly froze in mid-air. King’s pupils contracted in disbelief as he stared at Garp.
“How… is this possible?!”
That hand appeared ordinary, but there was an invisible membrane that separated the skin from the blade’s edge. No matter how hard King tried, the blade couldn’t advance another inch!
The bursting flames seemed to obediently comply, easily captured by the palm. King realized that he couldn’t even break free. His only option was to abandon the blade and flee!
But before he could make a decision, a fist wrapped in Armament Haki, shimmering with a metallic black luster, suddenly enlarged before his eyes and King’s head instantly grew dizzy, and he was sent flying backward!
Bang!!!
It seems that history is repeating itself!
With one grab and one smash, King the Conflagration, the leader of the Three Disasters from the Hundred Beast Pirates, was once again knocked into the sea!
Having completed this, Garp shook his slightly numb arm, looking down with disdain.
“I am someone who could break Kaido’s bones and make him spit blood and a new brat dares to challenge me?”
“Are you kidding me!”
Standing in the center of the battlefield, Garp’s Justice cloak billowed in the wild wind. Countless pirates and Marines stared dumbfoundedly at the tall, robust figure. In their hearts, the same sentence echoed abruptly.
This was the Marine Hero!
“Iron Fist” Garp!
…
Rowen didn’t have time to pay attention to the battle on the sea. He arrived at the Flying Fortress… let’s call it that for now!
After all, it had only been less than 24 hours since it was completed, and it was still in the trial period.
Arriving at the interior of the Flying Fortress, Rowen encountered a figure he had anticipated.
A large white coat draped over the person, like a child wearing an adult’s clothes, trailing on the ground. The rolled-up sleeves extended all the way to the elbows, covered in grease stains.
The fluffy explosion of hair was covered in dust and debris, emitting a peculiar smell. If you got too close, you’d be overwhelmed by the fumes.
“No good! Take down the third engine immediately, or it will crash!”
“You guys, go to the warehouse and find a few Wind Dials to support it. Be careful not to get sucked in by the propellers… our Wind Dials are limited, and we can’t afford to waste them!”
In the vast and open space, white coats, soldiers, and black suits dashed around, creating a lively scene of labor. Rowen took a few steps back to the door, glanced at the golden plaque on it, confirming that it was the Dictate Room and not Vegapunk’s laboratory, and then walked back in.
A few black suits, their faces blackened and their mouths twitching, passed by Rowen. They glanced at him with surprise, then said nothing, holding the keys to the warehouse door and disappearing at the end of the corridor.
Approaching the person in the white coat, Rowen glanced at the screens in front of him, displaying a pile of data he couldn’t understand, and cleared his throat.
“Cough cough! Mr. Vegapunk, I’m here…”
“Whew! You scared me!”
Before Rowen could finish speaking, Vegapunk suddenly turned around. After seeing the person clearly, he breathed a sigh of relief, then happily pulled Rowen.
“You’re here to take over as Vice Admiral for Garp, right?”
“Ah? Oh… yes!”
“Great! Come over here and help us secure these two conduits. The energy was too strong and exploded just now!”
Rowen held the massive conduit, about half a person in diameter, and dumbly aligned it with the protruding interface on the wall. Then, Vegapunk paid him no further attention, turning back to Dictate.
“Is the Wind Dial in place?”
“Very well, prepare for the first ignition!”
Rowen: “…”
Suddenly, he had an ominous feeling in his heart!!
