Early the next morning, the two met in the agreed upon sewer.
To be honest, Arthur had never intended to end up in such a horrible place.
It reminded him of a cartoon he had seen as a child, of a big rat with four little spiders… oh no, they were turtles! Eating pizza in the sewers.
Well, in fact, just one spider made Arthur feel like there were countless voices screaming in his ears every day.

As Spider-Man’s instructor, Spider-Man had prepared two of these devices for Arthur. But Arthur wasn’t used to them at all; not only did they fail to showcase Spider-Man’s agility, but they also restricted his movements.
By the way… these gadgets were also invented by the OsCorp Industries!
After launching a web into all the tunnels, Spider-Man had successfully created the web network.
He climbed onto the web, and at first glance, he looked like a giant red spider!

“You’re definitely misusing your spider senses!”
Having placed his ‘little gift’ on the ground… well, technically under the water’s surface, Arthur began to fiddle with his pistol.
Of course, in an environment like the sewers, a handgun was the most versatile weapon.
Besides, Arthur had a lot of military daggers in his disassembly room, so he wasn’t too worried about close combat.
As for the sniper rifle, it was best not to use it recklessly. Arthur had other ideas for dealing with the lizard.
He hoped to capture a live Lizard, not just a dead one!
To be honest, Arthur wasn’t overly confident about this mission. Although Spider-Man had received some training, he still seemed a bit green.
Besides, judging from his portrayal in the movies, the Lizard would definitely be a match for Spider-Man in terms of strength and defense.

Arthur’s voice was deep, but his words still made you roll your eyes.

Arthur was used to such silence, but Spider-Man was getting a little restless.
Seeing Arthur’s silence, his cell phone game became boring.
He kept looking at Arthur, and when he saw him still standing in the darkness, he breathed a small sigh of relief.
Arthur’s silence gave Spider-Man a subtle feeling… as if he could be swallowed by the darkness at any moment and disappear without a trace!
Just as this thought crossed his mind, Spider-Man looked back at Arthur and found… Arthur was gone!
“Hallucination?”
Spider-Man was startled, thinking he might be seeing things.
Just then, a spider web suddenly tightened!
Forgetting where Arthur had gone, Peter crouched silently on the web… but as he did, all the webs around him began to vibrate.
In his confusion, he saw a huge black shadow appear in the sewer pipe.
Focus!
Peter dared not make a sound, his eyes fixed on the approaching shadow.
But what happened next stunned Spider-Man. A small lizard appeared on the web, strutting confidently toward the center where all the webs converged.
At the same time, more of these small lizards appeared at the ends of the vibrating webs.
They advanced fearlessly, and… they simply walked past Spider-Man, paying him no attention!
Peter was confused, then realized that these little lizards weren’t moving blindly. They were marching in groups in the same direction.
Just then, a sudden sense of dread overcame him. Spider-Man looked up sharply and saw a massive, grotesque green creature descend with razor-sharp claws aimed straight for his neck.
It happened in an instant, and there was no escape!
He managed to dodge the claw that went for his neck, but another claw came right after it, creating a stalemate!
“You stopped me before! This time you will not stop me again!”
Lizard spoke, and in the battle of strength, Spider-Man was at a disadvantage. As the sharp claws approached his chest…
Suddenly, in the silence, another person appeared on Lizard-Arthur!
Arthur, holding the military daggers reversed in his hands, drove them into the sides of Lizard’s neck!
The daggers sank three inches deep, instantly causing Lizard to seize up!
Arthur’s expression changed. Knowing Lizard’s defense was strong, he had abandoned the remote handgun attack.
Even when Lizard appeared, he had not acted recklessly… waiting until Lizard thought victory was assured, Arthur finally launched his surprise attack!
But to his surprise, the daggers could not penetrate!
Lizard’s muscles were as hard as Iron Man’s, and they gripped the daggers tightly, preventing them from going through!
After failing the killing blow, Lizard roared in fury!
With an explosive surge of power, Lizard’s massive tail swung and slammed into Arthur’s back!!!
