The chaos outside did not affect them at all.

After all, the door lock remained intact, and there was no sign of the three of them leaving.

Even if some of the guards had dozed off last night, no one would believe that they were responsible.

After all, if they had the ability to escape, why would they take their weapons instead?

It didn’t make sense!

And even if their weapons were stolen, they had nowhere to hide them. Nothing could escape the surveillance cameras— except when the monitors were dozing off.

Under these circumstances, the people taken by Arthur became scapegoats. Yinsen intermittently heard people outside talking about hunting them and how to deal with them.

He mentioned this to Tony, who looked puzzled.

Arthur chuckled to himself, then thought… these guys would definitely get new weapons today. Should he go out and collect another wave?

But were these weapons even worth disassembling?

The Disassembler was currently being upgraded, and it would take a while to check.

This upgrade had indeed taken a long time – two whole months – and the Disassembler still wasn’t online.

And so the time passed day by day.

It’s worth noting that Arthur had originally planned to take it easy the whole time. Tony and Yinsen kept quiet about it, but the freedom fighters weren’t pleased.

Their goal in capturing Arthur was simple: to make him help with the work.

But Arthur was acting like a big shot, making the freedom fighters feel like he was even freer than they were. Could they allow that? Didn’t he feel like a kidnapped person?

They grabbed Arthur, threatened and intimidated him. Although Arthur didn’t fully understand, he got the gist of it.

This made him behave better and help Tony and Yinsen with odd jobs.

Also, he had gone out every night for the last few days to steal a round.

In the beginning, these freedom fighters believed there was a mole among them, especially since every time Arthur went out, he conveniently took a few people with him.

But after only three days, they couldn’t use the “Mole stealing weapons and defecting” excuse anymore.

Although they hadn’t thought of Arthur, they had come up with something even more far-fetched… they believed the camp was haunted!

After all, there was no logical explanation for why guns disappeared every night after they fell asleep.

Why were their members disappearing all the time?

Why did the missing leave no trace?

All the vehicles outside the camp were there, not even a footprint was found. If it wasn’t a ghost, what could it be?

People were anxious and were afraid to sleep at night, and no longer cared about Arthur slacking off.

Many even chose to sleep during the day. If their leader hadn’t been so determined and hadn’t shot two who tried to escape, the whole group would have disbanded.

Sleeping during the day meant that Arthur couldn’t act.

Tony and Yinsen were busy during the day and rested at night. It was impossible for Arthur to sneak out without them noticing.

Arthur thought it was time to quit anyway.

After all, the temporary weapons he had given them – whether they would be useful after Disassembly was still uncertain.

There was no need to take unnecessary risks for something so uncertain.

Most importantly, Tony’s suit armor was almost finished!

Arthur wasn’t completely ignorant about weapons. After all, he and Howard had once been good friends, and he had learned a few things at the military camp.

For example… homemade bombs and such.

Of course, this knowledge paled in comparison to Tony’s.

He understood the general concept of the armor he was making.

But he didn’t understand half the details.

“Howard has an amazing son,” Arthur would sometimes inexplicably exclaim, then get annoyed with himself.

These are the things that he had seen in the movies. So why was he sighing over them?

Glancing at the camera, Arthur laughed again.

Tony and Yinsen, under their supervision, managed to create the suit’s armor from scratch.

But they… watched it all happen before their eyes, yet they didn’t really understand what was going on.

And then the big day came.

Tony’s armor was finally finished!

They couldn’t afford to stay in this cursed place one more second.

So, as soon as the armor was finished, Tony eagerly began to put it on.

Yinsen was busy assisting him, fastening each bolt.

A bomb they had made was placed on the door. If someone opened it, the bomb would go off.

Under normal circumstances, this would buy them some time, but it was extremely limited.

Arthur thought for a moment and decided to help, asking, “Is there anything I can do?”

“Stand there and be quiet!” Tony snapped at Arthur.

“…”

Arthur was momentarily speechless. It seemed that the persona he was projecting was indeed something people did not like.

But he grinned broadly and said, “Oh, I just won’t!”

Having said that, he went to the computer. “I know there’s another program for the power supply. Should I…?”

Tony paused, “How do you know?”

“Why waste so many words?” Arthur replied. “Do you have a lot of time?”

“Well, Mr. Interesting Immortal!”

Tony looked thoughtfully at Arthur.

Yinsen seemed very concerned. Following Tony’s instructions, he put on his armor and stared at the door, afraid that someone might suddenly burst in.

But… no one did!

The commotion outside had so worn down the group’s spirits that even their brain responses were delayed several beats when they looked at the camera. It wasn’t until Tony put on the armor that they finally realized what had happened.

But by the time they rushed over, it was already too late.

And as they hurriedly pushed open the bomb-laden door, they saw, after the loud explosion, a metallic monster standing across from them.

Before their minds could process what had happened, Tony had already started firing.

His performance was nothing like that of a playboy – as his actions proved him to be decisive and ruthless!

With all the weapons and ammunition integrated into the armor, he didn’t hesitate to unleash them on the enemy. In the blink of an eye, those who stood before him were no more.

“Let’s go!” Tony shouted confidently, leading the way.

Yinsen followed nervously, and bringing up the rear with his hands casually in his pockets was Arthur.

Despite the current situation, Arthur’s inner self remained unflappable and surprisingly reluctant…

And so the three of them, led by Tony, fought their way out of the enemy camp, encountering little effective resistance.

Once outside, Tony looked confused. “Why do I feel like I’ve run into a bunch of fake bandits?”

“Teenagers in puberty are easily mentally fatigued. It’s normal,” Arthur said casually.

“Is that so?” Tony suddenly pointed his gun at Arthur. “But pretending to be stupid is also quite exhausting, isn’t it, Mr. Interesting Immortal?”
