“Rooooaaarrrrrrr!!!!!”
Arthur hadn’t even taken a few steps when Hulk’s roar echoed from behind them.
And the Abomination, who was right on their heels, was suddenly grabbed by a pair of giant green hands. Hulk yanked him back and threw him, sending him crashing through a wall and scattering bricks everywhere in the process!
Then Hulk roared again and jumped after the flying Abomination.
Arthur let out a long sigh of relief as he looked at this, and Lily wiped the sweat from her brow and said, “Um, can you put me down now? This… is actually quite tiring…”
Just as Arthur was about to put her down, there was a loud crash and a huge figure burst through the wall and landed right in front of them.
It was the hideously colored Abomination!
He had been thrown back by the Hulk…
The Abomination shook his dazed head as he landed and immediately saw the stunned Arthur and Lily. Without a word, he reached out to grab them.
Arthur, still holding Lily, began to run again, cursing, “Banner, you son of a… !!!!!!”.
He had clearly caught the Abomination and thrown him away.
‘Why did you throw him back?’
‘And why is this Abomination so fixated on grabbing Lily instead of fighting the Hulk?’
Arthur continued to run while expressing his frustration, “His obsession with you is almost romantic; maybe you should just marry him!”
“I absolutely refuse…”
Lily, enraged, curled up tighter, effectively turning herself into luggage.
The Abomination continued to chase them, picking up whatever was nearby and hurling it at Arthur.
Just then, another green figure with red eyes climbed through the hole in the wall and charged the Abomination!
“Are you playing tag or what?”
As Arthur continued to run, he sensed something was wrong and turned to see the Abomination still throwing debris at him!
At that moment, his eyes reddened with anger!
“Damn, nice guys finish last! You think you can bully me like this?!”
Dodging the debris thrown by the Abomination, Arthur cursed loudly!
Lily, being tossed around by Arthur, was on the verge of throwing up and spoke with an uneasy look on her face: “Can you… can you be more careful!”
“Raaaaaaarrrr!!!!!”
The Abomination roared, grabbed a bar counter, and violently tore it apart before hurling it at Arthur.
Arthur quickly dodged, but in the process, his grip on Lily loosened… and she went flying.
“Fuck!”
Arthur’s face darkened, and the Abomination, seeing an opportunity, grabbed a chair and hurled it right at Lily!
In that brief moment of hesitation, the Hulk had caught up and tackled the Abomination, sending him flying!
Arthur had no time to worry about them. It didn’t matter to him as to who will win; the problem was Lily…
In that split second, without thinking, he lunged forward and the stagnant energy within him surged, creating ripples and waves. The whole world became bizarrely clear.
The next moment, Arthur was beside Lily, catching her in mid-air and deflecting the incoming chair!
“So exciting!”
Lily looked at Arthur in amazement and said, “This is way more fun than an amusement park!”
“…Don’t you feel any tension at all?” Arthur was speechless. What kind of nerves does that girl have?
“I should be nervous, but with you by my side, I can’t seem to feel any nervousness at all.”
After Lily said this, she looked at another hole that appeared on the nearby wall and asked, “Are they gone?”
The moment the words left her mouth, the roof suddenly collapsed and a massive green figure descended from above, with a bald head pinned beneath it. These two burly men were locked in battle!
“Fuck!”
Lily widened her eyes as she looked at this scene.
Arthur’s face darkened. “Why the hell are they back again?”
“Your mouth must be a magnet for trouble!” Arthur muttered as he scanned the area repeatedly.
These two giants could turn the streets of New York into a lunar landscape with their battles.
Now, inside this building, they were wreaking havoc like a pair of huskies tearing up a room.
After a few rounds, the area was filled with debris and broken things!
Just then, the roof finally gave way under the strain…
Lily let out a desperate scream, but Arthur pressed something against her neck, knocking her unconscious. She disappeared from Arthur’s side, sucked into the Disassembler space.
As it turns out, the Disassembler space can hold people without harming them!
Coming out of it, however, can be disorienting. It may not be completely stable, but at that point there was no other option. With the situation hanging in the balance, he wasn’t worried about himself, but Lily was probably in for a rough ride!
For now, she had to stay in the Disassembler space.
After the heavy object above crushed him, Arthur was buried alive…
As the two behemoths continued to fight, their roars grew fainter!
Suddenly, a fist emerged from the rubble inside the building. Soon after, Arthur, clad in a black trench coat and wearing a mask and hat, climbed out of the wreckage.
This time, he was absolutely furious and his eyes were glowing with rage!
“Bullying people! They’re just bullying people…”
Arthur muttered through clenched teeth, his eyes glowing crimson. One hand clenched into a fist, the other already holding a weapon.
Confused, he glanced around, only to find that both Abomination and Hulk had vanished without a trace.
“Running after acting tough?”
Had it been moments ago, Arthur would have turned and walked away. But now he had no intention of leaving.
He had to make these two understand that even if he couldn’t match their strength right now, the title of Executioner wasn’t just given because of his good looks!
It represented lives taken, and a pile of bones accumulated in the aftermath of his Missions!
Like a gust of black wind, he sprinted through the debris, his cloak fluttering loudly. Within moments, he was outside the building.
Just then, as he emerged onto the street, he saw the two behemoths clinging to a helicopter, spinning downwards!
