The night sky remained dark as Arthur stood up, brushing the dust off his clothes.
“Hmm, this shouldn’t mean anything,” Arthur muttered to himself. “It’s just ‘day thoughts, night dreams.’ That girl sends me texts every day; of course, she’s constantly wondering about me. It’s already good enough that she hasn’t called the cops. With all her daily worries, it’s no surprise she dreamt about me.”
He nodded confidently to himself, confirming his reasoning. After that, he stood up, ready to find Thor.
After all, he had promised Odin, and the old man was quite the voyeur. If Arthur didn’t do his job, Odin might just take a look and accuse him of slacking off, possibly docking his pay!
Arthur couldn’t accept that. He still had his eyes set on the treasures in the Asgardian vault.
Just as he was about to leave, he suddenly stopped in his tracks and looked back at the spot where he had arrived. After the Bifrost faded, a complex pattern remained on the ground.
Arthur, knowledgeable in mysticism, glanced at it with some intrigue. “I can’t fully decode it yet…”
He took out his phone, snapped a photo, and zoomed in to make sure the details were clear before finally turning to leave. He wasn’t expecting to unravel the mysteries of the Bifrost, but it wouldn’t hurt to study it when he had some free time.
Arthur released *The Eye of Horus*, letting it rise high into the sky to scout the area. In the distance, he spotted a light source.
Following the light, he used his *Blink* ability to travel as quickly as possible. When he arrived, he realized it wasn’t a town or a city but a heavily guarded facility. The setup was still quite basic, but Arthur’s keen eye immediately recognized that every worker here was highly trained.
As *The Eye of Horus* ventured deeper, Arthur got closer and noticed something in the center of the facility—a hammer.
His lip twitched slightly. “No surprise there.”
It was Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir, the legendary *meow-meow hammer*! When Thor lost it, Odin had tossed it not far from where Thor was so that he could retrieve it once he passed his trials.
Arthur sat in the shadows, pondering.
In the end, Odin’s family really wasn’t peaceful at all.
The daughter was a menace, and the two sons— one was brainless, and the other was adopted.
The two brothers were always causing trouble. Later, when the daughter emerged, things got even worse, with her straight-up murdering people.
If it weren’t for Thor learning the “art of wrecking his own home” and releasing Surtur, who destroyed Hela’s power source, that family drama might have dragged on for who knows how long.
Overall, the problems in Odin’s family were even more complicated than the entanglements between Spider-Man and his father-in-law!
Arthur smirked, his gaze shifting to the agents surrounding Mjolnir. A wave of irritation suddenly washed over him.
Why should these guys get to stand around studying Mjolnir, while he had to hide in the shadows, not even daring to show his face?
S.H.I.E.L.D.?
So what if it’s S.H.I.E.L.D.?
The Avengers?
What does that have to do with me?
Mjolnir was right there. Why not give it a try and see if he could lift it?
He wasn’t necessarily going to claim it as his own; after all, Odin was still watching him from above.
But there’s no law against trying, right?
Once that thought took root, Arthur couldn’t shake it.
*The Eye of Horus* scouted around and spotted a suited agent stepping out for a smoke.
In a flash, Arthur vanished from his spot.
After a few quick *Blinks*, he appeared behind the smoking agent. A light tap on the agent’s neck, and the man’s eyes rolled back as he collapsed, unconscious.
Arthur quickly stripped the agent of his clothes and put them on himself.
He then glanced at the man’s face and cast a transformation spell.
His face twisted and shifted, and after patting his features to ensure they were in place, Arthur stood up and confidently strolled into the facility.
Along the way, several people nodded at him in greeting. Arthur was puzzled— he had no idea what rank or identity the person he had transformed into held.
However, as Arthur passed by a mirror, he paused for a moment.
He checked himself out in the reflection and casually adjusted his very high hairline. Satisfied, he nodded and continued walking towards his destination.
The circular corridor was wrapped in transparent plastic sheets.
Walking along the corridor, he reached the center and was greeted by a large pit.
Inside the pit was none other than… Mjolnir!
Arthur grabbed the railing with both hands, flipped over, and jumped down.
“Phil Coulson, what are you doing?”
The nearby researchers, who were watching their computers, were stunned when they saw Arthur jump down.
It would have been fine if you had just walked down, but what’s the point of jumping?
“Nothing, nothing, just stretching my legs.”
Arthur waved his arms and said, “You know, exercise helps with hair growth!”
“…”
“…”
The researchers were all bewildered—who needed to know that?
Then they watched as ‘Coulson’ walked right up to the hammer and reached out to grab it.
“Wait!” Someone quickly said, “The analysis of this unknown item isn’t complete yet. We can’t confirm if it contains radioactive material. You—”
Before he could finish, Arthur had already grabbed Thor’s hammer.
He gave it a tug— nothing. He switched his grip and pulled again— still no movement.
Arthur grinned, “It’s a bit heavy.”
“…”
The researchers remained in a daze. Sensing something was off, one of them opened a comms link, “Phil Coulson seems to be acting strangely.”
But just as he said that, the sound of hurried footsteps approached.
A group of agents appeared, supporting the real Phil Coulson, who was wearing only boxer shorts and clutching his neck.
Arthur and Coulson locked eyes for a moment. Arthur grinned, “You woke up pretty fast!”
“Catch him!” Agent Coulson shouted, pointing at Arthur.
“In your dreams!”
Arthur quickly summoned three golden *Eyes of Horus*. As the golden light spread, one agent was completely enveloped, his expression twisted in surprise. “Watch out for the light!” he yelled.
But after a moment, the agent suddenly said in confusion, “Wait, what? This feels… pretty good.”
When the rest of the agents snapped back to reality and looked up again, the ‘Coulson’ imposter was already gone.
They all stared at each other, dumbfounded. What just happened?
…
…
Arthur reappeared in the wilderness, laughing uncontrollably.
His mood was inexplicably cheerful, and he felt an immense satisfaction from his little prank.
Although he hadn’t been able to lift Mjolnir, he hadn’t really expected to. He had only tried it out for fun!
In fact, if he had actually lifted Mjolnir, *that* would’ve made things awkward.
After all… would he have given it back to Thor or just kept it for himself to Disassemble?
