The entire planet was in chaos at this moment. Spaceships roared through the sky, trying to escape the planet, but most were intercepted and scattered, exploding into brilliant fireworks against the backdrop of the sky.
The distant sounds of gunfire were continuous. Buyers and sellers were fighting, some buyers and sellers were teaming up to battle the Kree, and the planet’s own defense forces were resisting the Kree invasion…
Fighting was everywhere. Fear and confusion, slaughter, and madness had become the planet’s main themes.
Arthur pressed his earpiece: “Where the hell are you?”
“I’m currently…”
Peter Quill’s voice was urgent, with the sounds of gunfire and explosions all around: “…being aggressively ‘invited’ by a bunch of very enthusiastic guys… They’re so enthusiastic, it’s like they’ve gone mad, trying to give me a one-way ticket to hell!”
“Haha.”
Arthur couldn’t help but laugh.
“How can you laugh at a time like this?” Peter’s voice cut off momentarily, then resumed: “I almost got killed just now, you know?”
“I believe you’ll come out fine.”
Arthur said, “I’m also in trouble over here. Give me your location, and we’ll meet up immediately.”
“Okay!”
As Peter’s voice fell, Arthur’s visor displayed a red dot, indicating the general direction and distance to his location!
Arthur mounted the Abomination and said, “I’m on my way. You’d better come up with a way to get out of here!”
“Just come to my location; I’m right next to the spaceship sales area!”
Peter said, “But I’m surrounded by these guys with green skins, and they won’t let me get to the spaceships!”
“Then I guess they might be looking out for you, trying to keep you from getting hurt.”
“Huh?”
…
…
Peter, who was hidden behind the cover, was breathing heavily, occasionally popping out to exchange gunfire with the enemies but he was finding it increasingly difficult to hold his ground.
There were just too many of them!
If it weren’t for the sheer number of enemies, Peter was confident he could take them all out through guerrilla tactics.
But now he was reduced to hiding and dodging, unable to mount an effective counterattack.
Seeing a large group of guys with green skins closing in, Peter couldn’t help but say into the communicator, “Aren’t you here yet? If you don’t hurry, you won’t even get to see me off!”
“I’m here!” Arthur’s voice came through as promised.
“Where?” Peter quickly asked.
“Look up!”
Peter looked up and the expression on his face turned pale!
A massive figure over three meters tall, with a black-clad Arthur standing on it, was descending toward him!
The Abomination charged forward, rolling and creating fiery trails beneath its feet. Peter was hurled twenty meters away, tumbling several times before he yelled, “Are you trying to crush me? Whose side are you on?”
Boom!!!!!
The response to Peter Quill was the brutal landing of the Abomination, sending dust flying everywhere.
The wind whipped up the sand and stones while Peter quickly put on his mask, fuming, “You…”
“When I was coming over, I saw the spaceship sales area nearby,” Arthur said. “Get a spaceship, and I’ll delay them. We need to get out of here as quickly as possible!”
“Are you sure?” Peter Quill said, “There are a lot of them!”
Just as he finished speaking, there was a roar. The Abomination charged into the enemy ranks, swinging its massive arms, sending the Kree soldiers flying like sandbags.
At the same time, Arthur wielded a semi-automatic rifle. With flames erupting from the gun’s muzzle, the energy shots left any Kree hit by the bullets in a severely incapacitated state.
The Abomination’s disruption of the enemy lines allowed Arthur to take advantage and open fire, while The Eye of Horus captured every change on the battlefield for Arthur.
Peter Quill’s eyes almost popped out at the sight before he spoke: “You’re ruthless! Hang in there!!”
With that, he dashed towards the nearby sales area.
…
…
As soon as Peter left, the current wave of guys with green skins was completely wiped out by Arthur and the Abomination’s coordination.
But this was just the beginning. The other Kree Soldiers had already begun landing, and there were soldiers everywhere.
The battle here was so attention-seeking that large numbers of Kree soldiers had surrounded the area.
But this was exactly what Arthur wanted. He was drawing the fire while Peter went to seize (steal) a spaceship. At this moment, he couldn’t care less about buyers and sellers; getting a spaceship was the priority!
The occasional flashes of fireworks in the sky and the surrounding screams and gunfire were assaulting Arthur’s mind.
He suddenly closed his eyes, his vision narrowed to the angle observed by The Eye of Horus.
The Eye of Horus soared high, giving Arthur a bird’s-eye view!
Arthur saw himself in black clothing, saw the Abomination beside him, observed the Kree hordes opposite to him, and also noticed the spaceship taking off and heading toward them.
“Time is tight… the show… begins now!”
With a sudden opening of his eyes, Arthur had two pistols in hand and leaped onto the Abomination’s shoulder.
Gunfire and the Abomination’s roars erupted simultaneously as the massive figure of Abomination leaped into the Kree ranks, crushing one on impact, and with a powerful swing of its arms, sent surrounding Kree soldiers flying.
The black cloak billowed in the air as Arthur jumped off the Abomination, firing his pistols with precise accuracy, and each of his shots hit a Kree soldier’s head.
Every shot took a Kree soldier’s life!
Azura’s light suddenly came from all directions in the form of a concentrated attack from the Kree. Arthur didn’t take it head-on; though his steel bones could withstand the damage, the consumption of colorless energy would be too great, and he avoided the damage as much as possible.
The massive Abomination took to the air, dodging the attacks, and landed in the distance among the Kree troops.
Arthur’s form flickered and reappeared ten meters away, still surrounded by Kree soldiers.
Before the Kree could realize they had a traitor among them, Arthur tossed a dozen Earth-made grenades onto the ground.
He blinked away multiple times to avoid the blast range, and the sounds of explosions continuously rang out behind them.
The roar of a Spaceship approached, and a Kree Spaceship flew low. Before it could lock onto Arthur or the Abomination, the Abomination roared and leaped into the air, grabbing the ship and slamming it down to the ground.
Boom!!!!!
The heatwave from the Spaceship’s explosion sent the Abomination flying, and all Kree within the blast radius were killed without exception!
