If given any other choice, Arthur would actually be very reluctant to take this route.
Even though he had killed countless people during World War II, and even though he wasn’t exactly a law-abiding citizen in the twenty-first century, he certainly didn’t want to be accused of a prison break just because he ended up in this prison.
He didn’t even have a target to break out from!
But the crux of the matter was that he couldn’t explain himself.
And if he followed the current procedure, there was a good chance that he would go straight to prison without being able to do anything.
He had no intention of becoming the protagonist of a story like “Prison Break” or “The Breakout Kings”.
So he made a decisive decision to escape from this prison!
The identity of the blue-skinned man was a surprise, but not too surprising. After all, someone who could oversee a virtual video court would undoubtedly hold a high position.
But that wasn’t really important. He had another purpose in doing this.
During their earlier conversation, Arthur had already used the Eye of Horus to scan the situation outside the room, he was in.
Combining the various scenes from “Guardians of the Galaxy”, Arthur was confident that he could get out of here.
The only problem was…
“Do you know how to operate a spaceship?”
Arthur asked, using the blue-skinned man as a human shield.
“I certainly… do not!”
The blue-skinned man seemed to realize something in the middle of his answer that made him change it.
Arthur grinned. “A warden who can’t operate a Spaceship? That’s hard to believe!”
Although it seemed illogical, in a world where everyone could fly around in spaceships, it was truly unbelievable that a Warden could not operate one.
As soon as he finished speaking, a buzzing sound filled the air. Looking up, Arthur saw several armed flying drones approaching his position.
Arthur exhaled and pulled the trigger!
Each shot from his energy weapon was infused with his own colorless energy, and the destructive power of each shot surprised even Arthur himself.
The small flying drones in the air were mere targets. Before their weapons could even fire, they were reduced to scrap metal on the ground.
Arthur felt a pang of regret upon seeing this. He wondered if he could disassemble these drones; and if so, his current actions might be a bit wasteful.
But thoughts about disassembling could wait for later.
Orderly footsteps approached from the front. Without a word, Arthur tapped the blue-skinned man on the neck.
The poor, silent man immediately fainted and disappeared from sight.
Arthur’s figure also disappeared and reappeared underground.
In the movie, Arthur had known that the entire maximum-security prison on Kyln was actually a massive floating metal fortress in space.
And through the Eye of Horus, Arthur had discovered that there were many hiding places underground throughout the entire building.
Unfortunately, ordinary prisoners would have no way of prying open the floorboards without tools.
And the thickness of the floors was definitely not something they could easily break through.
Fortunately, with his ability to teleport, Arthur could easily traverse these spaces.
As he searched for gaps with the Eye of Horus, he used his teleportation ability to move forward.
Ten minutes later, Arthur appeared directly inside the prison’s hangar.
“This is easier than I thought.”
Arthur thought for a moment, and the blue-skinned man appeared beside him. He grabbed him with one hand and climbed into a spaceship.
It took him a while to find the button for the hatch, but he finally managed to open it.
Climbing into the spaceship, Arthur looked at the whole structure and couldn’t help but exclaim, “This is the first time I’ve seen a spaceship that actually works…”.
He then dragged the blue-skinned man over and slapped him several times.
As the blue-skinned man was beaten into a red-faced mess, he finally came to and looked around in confusion. “Where am I?”
“You are in a good place. I’ll take you out to eat, drink and gamble!”
Arthur grabbed the blue-skinned man by the shoulder, pulled him into the pilot’s seat, and pointed a gun at his head. “Now, let’s go!”
“You won’t get away with this.”
The blue-skinned man, remembering everything that had happened, said angrily, “I will never…”
Before he could finish his sentence, a hand was pierced by a bayonet.
Arthur took a deep breath and leaned close to his ear, whispering, “Please, don’t make me do anything irrational. You must understand, my nerves are at their limit right now. If you push me too far, I don’t know what I might do!!!”
After pulling the bayonet out of the blue-skinned man’s hand, Arthur exhaled.
In reality, he wasn’t as calm and collected as he seemed on the outside. This wasn’t a game; he had been torn from Earth and thrown into space.
So what if this was the Kyln Maximum Security Prison?
So what if this prison had appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy?
So what if everyone here spoke a universal language?
The sense of strangeness, alienation, and isolation had reached unprecedented levels within Arthur’s Mind and heart!
Since World War II, Arthur had felt no sense of belonging to this world.
Even after crossing over into modern society, this feeling did not dissipate as the environment became more familiar.
Even his relentless pursuit of the Perfect Serum was merely a mental crutch to keep him from going completely mad in this absurd world.
Loving tsukkomi, enjoying jokes, and viewing everything around him with detachment did not mean that Arthur was truly happy or joyful.
This feeling had nothing to do with time, wealth, or even the possibility of Thanos appearing on Earth in a few years!
It was simply an inexplicable isolation that emanated from deep within him.
It made him feel out of place in this world, with no sense of security from beginning to end.
On Earth, there were morals and laws to control his increasingly unstable mind.
But now, thrown into space and surrounded by a bunch of blue-skinned and red-skinned ‘monsters’, Arthur felt that his sanity was on the verge of collapse.
Otherwise, he wouldn’t resort to such extreme measures.
At the very least, he wouldn’t have decided to break out of prison by force in an unfamiliar environment without a plan.
He certainly wouldn’t have acted impulsively, stabbing the blue-skinned man’s hand the moment he showed a hint of reluctance.
Besides, an indescribable, almost murderous rage was boiling up deep inside him!
His eyes reddened, and a dangerous killing intent surrounded him, and he growled, “Start the ship right now!
