Maybe they’d be useful in the future, or he could use them to challenge the Disassembler’s experience when it was crucial.
Through these recent Disassembler upgrades, Arthur suddenly realized something.
While the Disassembler’s upgrades were uncontrollable, to some extent, their timing was still under his control.
An upgrade of the Disassembler was like a stroke of luck. But if it happened at a moment when you really needed it, it could be quite awkward.
Therefore, Arthur decided that in the future, he would try to avoid Disassembling weapons whenever possible.
Fragmented Battle Souls had become insignificant to him. The effectiveness of firearms was limited; even a sharpshooter with perfect accuracy would struggle at close range against the full-powered Lizard.
And on his future journey dealing with Thanos, the effectiveness of firearms was even more uncertain.
So Arthur thought that, for now, Disassembling firearms should be put on hold.
He would only consider Disassembling high-level firearms equipment, preferably above ‘Green,’ in the future.
Regular firearms wouldn’t be very meaningful even if they are Disassembled and they would give ordinary results. The boost in strength would be limited, and it would trigger the Disassembler to upgrade sooner.
Upgrades were a double-edged sword!
This was a realization Arthur had while wandering the streets of New York today.
