On this day, Fang Li had finished his morning practice and had trained with Cecily for some time. He was about to continue his daily practice when a message popped up on his cell phone.
“NeI need a favor, let’s meet at the usual place.”
“—Sylvia.”
Seeing this message, Fang Li couldn’t help but pause, surprised.
“Sylvia?”
Why would this girl suddenly contact him? More importantly, how did Sylvia even know his cell phone number?
“And, need a favor?”
Fang Li muttered, his expression filled with puzzlement.
“What could I possibly help her with?”
You see, in Asterisk City, Fang Li had no privileges and no influence. While he had a Master capable of almost anything, this Master only cared about things she found interesting and ignored everything else.
So, what could Fang Li possibly assist Sylvia with?
Moreover, Fang Li now knew Sylvia’s true identity.
“I wonder why she’s looking for help. With her popularity, she could easily find more skilled helpers, couldn’t she?”
That being said, since she had sent a message inviting him, Fang Li figured he could pay her a visit.
“Anyway, today’s classes are pretty much done.”
With that thought, Fang Li was about to take a step forward when he noticed Zhao Hufeng’s figure approaching him at the end of the corridor.
“Senior Brother Zhao?” Fang Li raised an eyebrow.
“Little Junior Brother.” Zhao Hufeng seemed to have noticed Fang Li as well. He greeted Fang Li with a nod and asked, “Planning to complete the remaining training for today?”
“The rest of the training can wait until I come back later tonight,” Fang Li replied, his eyes gleaming with a hint of mischief. “I have a little something to attend to.”
“Is that so?” Zhao Hufeng nodded and said, “Lately, due to the Bo Xie incident, your name has garnered attention from various major forces. Although it hasn’t spread among ordinary people yet, the high-ranking officials from various academies have undoubtedly understood the situation. Be extremely cautious to avoid any hidden schemes.”
“Understood,” Fang Li accepted Zhao Hufeng’s advice.
Shortly afterward, Zhao Hufeng nodded at Fang Li once more and turned to leave.
Watching Zhao Hufeng’s departing figure, Fang Li couldn’t help but smile.
“If Senior Brother Zhao knew who I’m about to meet, his expression would be quite interesting, I’m sure.”
With that thought in mind, Fang Li turned around and left the Yellow Dragon Temple.

Asterisk City, Redevelopment District.
In the midst of a desolate open space surrounded by abandoned buildings, Fang Li’s figure gradually emerged from a small alley in the corner.
“I’m glad I still remember the way here…”
Fang Li surveyed his surroundings until, after a while, his gaze stopped in one direction.
“It’s been a while, Fang-San.”
There, perched atop a wall, Sylvia sat wearing a hoodie and jeans, a hood covering her head. Her chestnut-colored hair cascaded down to her waist, just as it had during their previous encounter. She had her feet pulled close to her, and she greeted Fang Li with a friendly wave.
A warm and familiar demeanor.
A remarkably unassuming aura surrounded her.
The perfect blend of these two qualities within Sylvia’s very being left Fang Li somewhat skeptical. Was this young girl before him truly the famous star herself?
However, Sylvia’s voice carried a seductive charm akin to fine wine, dispelling any doubts that lingered in Fang Li’s mind.
At least, Fang Li didn’t believe there could be a second voice in the world as enchanting as hers.
“I suppose the more famous you are, the stranger your actions become, right?”
Fang Li quirked an eyebrow and remarked, “The renowned ‘Sigrdrifa’ has been casually wandering around the Redevelopment District all this time. If this gets out, your fans might just raze this place to the ground, don’t you think?”
Hearing this, Sylvia, maintained an indifferent smile as she spoke. “I’m in disguise precisely because I don’t want to be recognized.”
One couldn’t help but describe Sylvia’s disguise as perfect.
Her resplendent purple hair had been transformed into inconspicuous chestnut locks. The captivating charm of her face was mostly concealed by a hat. A simple hoodie and jeans, when worn by Sylvia, gave her an exceedingly unassuming appearance.
With this disguise, unless someone truly knew Sylvia well, they wouldn’t recognize her at all.
“Furthermore, I’ve chosen my current position merely for the convenience of achieving my desires,” Sylvia candidly explained. “If necessary, I can abandon my current identity and retire at any time.”
“If your fans heard that, it would surely break their hearts, wouldn’t it?” Fang Li couldn’t help but chuckle. “Especially Senior Brother Zhao; he’d be deeply affected, absolutely.”
“I appreciate the support, but that doesn’t mean I’m obligated to fulfill everyone’s wishes,” Sylvia said with a wistful smile. “For me, I only want a place where I can sing to my heart’s content.”
In other words, Sylvia didn’t hold any attachment to her current status and popularity.
This exceptional Diva was truly in a league of her own.
However, precisely because of this, Sylvia’s presence exuded an unimaginable allure, one that unconsciously drew people in.
Fang Li, with a slight smile on his face, leaned against the nearby wall and spoke up. “Since that’s the case, as compensation, how about singing a song for me right here?”
“Only sing it for one person— me.”
Fang Li’s words momentarily surprised Sylvia. Then she burst into laughter.
“You really are an interesting person.”
With that said, she began to sing:
“Lu~~ lu lu lu~~ lu lu~~ lu lu lu lu~~”
A wondrous melody filled the space, echoing through it. Sylvia sat on the wall, swinging her legs, tapping out the rhythm while humming a tune.
It was merely a simple melody, yet it sounded like divine music. The beautiful singing seemed to seep into the hearts of those who heard it, touching their very souls.
Even Fang Li found himself entranced by the music, lost in its beauty.
It was only after a considerable time that the melody finally came to a close.
“This is a melody for a new song I’m currently composing. The lyrics haven’t been added yet, and besides you, no one else has heard it. Oh?”
Sylvia leaped down from the wall and blinked at Fang Li.
“So, Fang-San, you’ll have to put in the effort equivalent to the compensation, okay?”
