Rayleigh once said that **Haki** is something everyone possesses within their body, but most people never realize it, let alone learn how to use it.

To Liam, this statement could be interpreted as follows:

The completely replicated **B.I.B.**, in its armor construction, already contains untapped **Haki** energy waiting to be awakened.

Perhaps this is why it can be detected by **Kenbunshoku Haki** (Observation Haki) and attacked by **Busoshoku Haki** (Armament Haki).

In any case…

Liam believed that even when **B.I.B.** leaves his body, it could independently train in **Haki**.

Over the past two weeks, the more Liam blocked off his own senses, not only did he fail to grasp **Kenbunshoku Haki** (Observation Haki), but it also heightened his already sharp senses.

The more he tempered his body and endured attacks, instead of activating **Busoshoku Haki** (Armament Haki), the more his proficiency in **Rokushiki’s Tekkai**improved. If **Busoshoku Haki** can make something hard, why couldn’t his **Tekkai** do the same?

It seemed that the more Liam focused on training his body through **Life Return**, the more he became trapped in that particular mode, making it difficult to transition into the **Haki** system.

Fuzzily, Liam felt this wasn’t just because he was stuck in a rigid way of thinking. There seemed to be another reason.

That reason… it was on the tip of his tongue, but he just couldn’t quite grasp it.

“Liam?”

Robin’s voice snapped Liam back to reality.

Since last night, after Liam had seemingly recalled his **ghost**, he had been screaming for half the night, eating for the other half, and now had been lying there in a daze. Worried, Robin asked herself, had he finally been driven mad by his own **ghost**?

Liam tapped his finger against his forehead, and Robin noticed that his finger didn’t actually touch his skin.

He said, “I’m wearing its helmet right now.”

Robin realized this at once. She had seen Liam’s **ghost** in **Ghost City Castle**, and of course, she knew it was an odd ghost shaped like a suit of armor— with hollow insides.

Liam then pointed to the nearby spot where a circle had been drawn on the ground.

“It’s standing right there…” Robin, smart as she was, quickly understood. “I get it now. Since it’s just armor, when you take away its helmet, it naturally can’t see or hear anything anymore… and as you said, it never had a sense of smell either. So, the flaw that’s been holding you back from learning **Kenbunshoku Haki** (Observation Haki), whether it’s a disadvantage or not, no longer matters to your **ghost**.”

“Exactly,” Liam snapped his fingers.

“You had it draw a circle on the ground…” Robin sat with her knees hugged to her chest and tilted her head. “Are you asking me to help again with the **Hana Hana no Mi** (Flower-Flower Fruit)?”

After all, she couldn’t see Liam’s **ghost**.

“But my hands can’t touch your **ghost**,” Robin reminded him.

Liam responded, “They don’t need to. As long as it’s standing in the circle, just use a few dozen arms and swipe around. You might not be able to touch it, but it can touch you. When it’s able to precisely grab every arm you swipe with the **Hana Hana no Mi**, that’ll probably mean it’s finally mastered **Kenbunshoku Haki** (Observation Haki)!”

Robin nodded and stifled a yawn before focusing. Using the **Hana Hana no Mi**, she sprouted several arms around the circle on the ground.

With the helmet firmly on Liam’s head, its eyes glowing white, he watched his headless body standing within the circle as Robin’s numerous arms intertwined around it, trying to provoke a reaction.

Instinctively, **B.I.B.**’s headless body wanted to dodge Robin’s arms since the helmet allowed it to “see” what was happening.

Liam swiftly pulled the helmet off and stuffed it into the mouth of the green **Den Den Mushi**.

“Don’t even think about cheating.”

The headless armor immediately stopped moving again.

The helmet, now inside the creepy fortress-like interior of the **Den Den Mushi**, was completely cut off from the outside world, whether intentionally or not.

Robin continued to use her **Flower-Flower Fruit** (*Hana Hana no Mi*), sprouting a dozen arms that repeatedly swiped within the circle. However, none of the swipes gave her any sensation of hitting something… If she hadn’t trusted Liam or hadn’t seen his **ghost** with her own eyes, she might have thought there was nothing in the circle and that she was just wasting her stamina swinging at nothing. It felt so dumb…

Liam, resting with his arms behind his head, had been watching for about ten minutes.

The black, headless armor stood frozen inside the circle, not moving for the entire ten minutes…

Hmm? Liam’s ears twitched— he thought he heard a faint yawn just now.

He suddenly realized that being so “superhuman” himself, he had forgotten that Robin was still just an ordinary young girl… His arms suddenly dissolved into two masses of vapor and flew toward the black, headless armor.

Robin was startled by the sight.

The headless armor immediately reacted. It reached out to grab the tangible presence it sensed, but its grasp came up empty. Realizing this must be Liam’s **Elementalization**, the armor didn’t resist as Liam’s cloud-like arms removed its gauntlets.

The left arm gauntlet, with blue flame patterns, and the right arm gauntlet, with red flame patterns, each attached to Liam’s vaporous arms before they flew back to him.

The left arm directly entered Robin’s chest, retrieving the **Flower-Flower Fruit** chip and passing it to the right hand.

The left arm then tried to enter Liam’s chest to retrieve his **Gasu Gasu no Mi** (*Gas Gas Fruit*) chip— wait, what was he even thinking? If he pulled that out, wouldn’t he lose his arms completely?

After reattaching his elemental arms, Liam manually retrieved the **Gasu Gasu no Mi** chip from his chest.

Now, with the red-flame-patterned gauntlet on his right arm, Liam inserted the **Flower-Flower Fruit** chip into his own chest, then playfully waved the **Gasu Gasu no Mi** chip in front of Robin’s confused face with a slight grin. He then casually plunged his right arm into her chest.

“If you’re sleepy, just go to bed,” he said.

Liam withdrew his right arm and gently patted the shoulder of the sleepy ten-year-old girl. He knew Robin had been dozing off, and that she’d stayed up all night watching over him as he recalled his **Stand**.

“I’m fine…” Robin replied, but couldn’t resist letting out another small yawn.

“No, you’re not.”

Liam grabbed Robin’s arm and knocked on the green **Den Den Mushi**’s shell. The creature lazily opened its mouth, and Liam promptly stuffed Robin inside.

With a *BIU*, she entered the twistedly cute interior of the **Den Den Mushi** fortress. Robin yawned again and smiled softly as she looked around.

The little green cave fortress contained their basic luggage. In addition to that, Liam’s **ghost**’s helmet should have been in there too…

But where could it be?

Robin wandered through the cave-like fortress with her hands behind her back, taking slow steps and making a full circuit, but still, she couldn’t find it.

If I could find it, that would mean I’ve finally grasped **Kenbunshoku Haki** (Observation Haki), wouldn’t it…? *Sigh*…

Floating beside her, almost as if it were following her, the black helmet with glowing white eyes watched as Robin stifled another yawn, mumbling, “She really is tired…”

Robin curled up and quickly fell into a deep sleep.

The black helmet floated nearby, disassembling into its faceplate and helmet pieces, and wrapped a thin blanket over Robin’s resting body.

Meanwhile, outside, Liam wasn’t nearly as considerate. Dozens of arms bloomed into existence beside the headless armor, thanks to his **Flower-Flower Fruit** powers. Whether or not the armor could sense them didn’t matter— he just started landing punch after punch.

“In respect to the Chinese protagonists, Eat my Hundred-Armed Kannon!”
