The air was filled with Caesar Clown’s furious cursing and the noisy excitement of Morgan, the birdman from the World Economic News, who never passed up a chance to stir things up, and the panicked whispers of others on the ship, who were clueless about what had just happened…

Stussy took a moment to recover, her body finally regaining its strength.

“Pure oxygen… a deadly poison…”

She stood up, glancing at the nearby priest who seemed utterly destroyed and was torn apart, and lying dead in a pool of blood…

Although Caesar’s Devil Fruit was indeed troublesome.

Even so, Stussy hadn’t expected… that this boy named Giorno could actually steal Caesar’s Devil Fruit power for himself.

Given her secret identity as a high-ranking CP-0 agent, Stussy was privy to certain information.

She had indeed heard rumors about… special research into “Devil Fruits.” In fact, the study of Devil Fruits had never really stopped— anyone with the slightest curiosity would be intrigued by such mysterious, powerful, and inexplicable fruits.

But before Dr. Vegapunk appeared, research into Devil Fruits had never yielded much substantial progress…

Even with Dr. Vegapunk’s involvement, the World Government and the Marines could only, after meticulous preparation, have a chance— however slim— of capturing the Devil Fruit factor that escaped upon the death of a Devil Fruit user (or experimental animal), thus forming a new Devil Fruit. That was the extent of their achievements…

Every failed experiment meant the loss of a Devil Fruit from the Marines’ stockpile, which would then randomly respawn somewhere in the sea.

But this Giorno…

He could easily take someone’s Devil Fruit power without killing them!

Naturally, the one who now possessed Caesar’s **Gasu Gasu no Mi (Gas Gas Fruit)** was Giorno himself.

But it wasn’t certain that he was the one who actually took it— there was a possibility that it was the ability of that girl, Captain Jolyne Kujo, from some unknown Devil Fruit… Could such an unreasonable ability, capable of stripping others of their Devil Fruit powers, really exist?

Stussy wasn’t sure. But whether it was Jolyne or Giorno who did it, it didn’t make much difference!

*Tap! Tap! Tap!*…

Stussy’s high heels clicked as she stepped through the hole in the ceiling of the pleasure ship and shot out into the sky using **Geppo**.

Soaring high into the air, she scanned the surroundings and narrowed her beautiful eyes slightly when she spotted a cloud drifting away in the distance.

That cloud was now **Giorno**, the new user of the **Gasu Gasu no Mi (Gas Gas Fruit)**.

With a series of explosive bursts from the air under her feet, Stussy closed the distance, leaping several dozen meters with each step as she rapidly pursued Liam and Robin.

**Rankyaku!**

As she got closer, Stussy elegantly twisted her body, raising her leg and sending out a slash that resembled the sword strike of a master swordsman.

A crescent-shaped cyan energy blade sliced diagonally through the cloud of gas surrounding Liam, cutting it cleanly in half.

“Ugh…” Robin, who was being held by Liam, fell slightly as Liam’s gaseous body was split into two parts, sending waves of sharp pain through her broken arm.

Within the two halves of the gas cloud, Liam’s face appeared on both sides. As he continued flying, he glanced back at the rapidly approaching Stussy.

“I’m telling you, big sister! You should just give up— you’re never going to catch me.”

“We’ll see about that!”

“I’m flying directly; you don’t seriously think you can outlast me while hopping on air using **Geppo**, do you?”

“Why not?” Stussy chuckled lightly, stepping on the air, leaping high, and spinning in mid-air. With a swift series of slashes from her legs, she unleashed a storm of cyan energy blades, swirling toward Liam like a chaotic windstorm.

**Rankyaku: Dragon Tornado!**

Just as Liam was about to recombine his two halves of gas, the storm of blades cut through him again.

“You may be a Logia-type who can **Elementalize**, but your Captain isn’t, right?” Stussy said calmly.

While freefalling for a few seconds, she took the opportunity to rest. Using **Geppo** continuously to chase him down was exhausting, even for her!

Stussy watched as Liam was shredded by the Dragon Tornado-like storm of chaotic energy blades, scattering him into wisps of gas.

Robin slipped from Liam’s grasp and began to fall.

Below them was the endless sea of the Grand Line.

“The one delusional about escaping is you, little brother.” Stussy stomped on the air with a sharp explosion, shifting her downward momentum into a sharp diagonal ascent.

In an instant, she surged forward several meters, closing in on Liam and Robin!

As she plummeted, Robin gritted her teeth against the pain, kicked the air—**pa!**—and instantly bounced back upward.

Enhanced by her “B.I.B.” ability, she twisted her body mid-air, flinging her leg in a swift **Rankyaku**—a youthful version—sending a cutting strike toward the approaching Stussy.

“I’m no deadweight!” Robin’s face was pale, drenched in cold sweat, with one of her arm hanging limp and twisted, but she forced a smile. “Don’t forget, I’m the Captain…”

Stussy’s face darkened, but she didn’t bother to dodge. Robin’s Rankyaku hit her directly.

Aside from tearing her clothes and slightly slowing her for half a second, it caused no real damage.

Thousands of streams of air gathered back into Liam’s body, and with a flick of his wrist, he sent a pure oxygen gas sphere hurtling toward Stussy.

Stussy elegantly twisted in mid-air, narrowly dodging the oxygen sphere with ease.

“Caesar is a Logia-type…” She smiled faintly. “Though you can indeed produce matter— pure oxygen— using your stamina, you cannot control the air around me. You can only transform yourself into pure oxygen or continually generate it with stamina… No matter how dangerous your moves are, they’re just moves. All I have to do is dodge! So, shall we see who gives in first— me, falling for one of your tricks, or me, catching you?”

“It’s so dangerous, yet so thrilling, Giorno Ototo (Little Brother)~”

At this, the blonde beauty extended her pink tongue, teasingly licking the corner of her mouth.

Liam scooped Robin back up, accelerated on his cloud, and sped away, exasperated. “Aren’t you afraid I’ll just cover the area within ten meters of you with pure oxygen?”

“If you want to kill your Captain with your own hands, that would only save me the trouble!”

Stussy relentlessly pursued them, constantly attacking with **Rankyaku** and **Shigan**, aiming not at Liam’s Logia-Form but at Robin, trying to slow them down as much as possible.

Robin, wrapped in the gaseous cloud and abandoned the ineffective strategies of using **Geppo** and **Rankyaku**, and instead had her armor ghost use a military skill similar to **Tekkai**.

She gritted her teeth and endured the barrage of **Rankyaku** slashes and **Shigan** strikes raining down on her like a storm against fragile banana leaves…

“…,” Liam glanced at Robin within the gas cloud.

Behind him, three spiraling holes appeared within his gas-form body, spinning wildly and releasing powerful gusts of wind that propelled him forward at an even greater speed.

Stussy looked surprised. Robin squinted against the chaotic winds, gasping, “Liam, that direction is…”

*Pa! Pa! Pa!* Stussy’s expression darkened as she continued the chase.

After pursuing them for several kilometers, chasing the gas cloud over the sea, Stussy finally came to a stop, treading the air as she hovered in place.

“What a desperate young boy…”

Stussy muttered to herself.

She glanced around at her surroundings.

The sky was clear, and the sea below was like a mirror.

The wind had stopped. The clouds were still.

They had reached… the Calm Belt.
