**[Chapter Head Serialization · 100 Million Newcomer 6 · ‘I’m not interested in this! I want to board the ship!’]**

**[A certain island. On the shore, a person from a big ship hands a newspaper to a black-haired girl, who angrily throws it on the ground, stomps on it a couple of times, and kicks it away, causing two wanted posters to fly out of the newspaper.]**

**〖Grand Line, Boin Archipelago——〗**

Liam and Robin had temporarily stopped.

While they had a short-term goal of heading to the Sabaody Archipelago to find Rayleigh and learn Haki, Liam didn’t want to miss the scenery along the way.

As Shanks said, when the opportunity to learn Haki arises, it will naturally come.

Rayleigh is over there; he won’t run away.

As long as they continue their journey on the Grand Line, they will eventually encounter him.

However, Liam was very interested in Heracles, who lived in seclusion on the Boin Archipelago, made up of giant-scale Gullet Counts.

Liam wasn’t sure if he had a natural talent for Haki. At least, he hadn’t shown any Haoshoku talent, right?

But… he definitely had a talent for Life Return.

And it was a significant talent.

Without any guidance, he naturally mastered the tricks of quickly digesting food, absorbing energy, and replenishing stamina, and he is even able to drink milk to instantly fix missing teeth…

Rokushiki was something he had only seen once when a probable CP-0 woman used it on a flower ship, and he managed to slowly explore it himself…

Encountering someone like Heracles, Liam naturally wanted to communicate.

Even if Heracles couldn’t explain much, Liam was keenly observing him.

Living in such extreme conditions as the Gullet Counts, Heracles had fully developed his survival skills… Not only did he remember all the plants, wild animals, and even some unique seeds from books that were not documented elsewhere, but his body was also conditioned to fit this environment perfectly.

If necessary, Heracles could survive for a week without food or water in extreme conditions.

Liam followed him, swinging an iron rod and smashing a giant-scale praying mantis’s head open with it, casually saying, “Don’t talk about a week; I’d probably be done after two days without food!”

Extraordinary physical stamina brought extraordinary energy needs.

Especially for someone like Liam, who frequently used Life Return to burst with power and had to carry the energy needs of **B.I.B.** as well, his food intake was even more ridiculous…

Thinking about it, lasting two days without food was already quite optimistic! Liam felt a bit gloomy, wondering whether this was an evolution or devolution.

Heracles led Liam into a dimly lit jungle area and coolly explained, “It’s simple; just store the extra stamina from the food you usually eat!”

The terrain was difficult, and Robin used her Flower-Flower Fruit (Hana Hana no Mi) to help, following along and expressing surprise, “It’s possible to do that? Like how animals hibernate…”

In the dim light, Robin found it even harder to navigate. At that moment, an iron rod was extended toward her. Robin held onto it and sat down… Liam carried the iron rod on his shoulder, and Robin sat sideways at the end of the rod. With her light weight, Liam didn’t even feel it.

However, Heracles moved through this environment with ease. The dim light posed no obstacle for him.

“Can you see in the dark?” Liam asked, kicking a large shadow from a tree, which seemed to be a giant spider, away.

Heracles skillfully navigated the terrain, “I’m not sure! I just mastered it unconsciously… At first, I thought it would never get dark! I was worried for days, thinking the world might be facing doomsday.”

‘With that helmet covering your entire head, what’s the difference from being in the dark?’ Robin thought to herself, suddenly seeing the light ahead as they passed through the dim jungle, realizing they were close to the edge of the island.

A giant lion, the size of a small mountain, appeared, walking slowly.

Robin jumped down from the end of the iron rod.

Heracles explained, “The closer you get to the edge of this island, the more powerful the beasts become… And the further out you go, the more intense the aroma of the island spreads!”

Suddenly, a giant sea beast with a rabbit face emerged from the sea, attracted by the enticing scent, and rushed ashore.

The rabbit-faced sea beast drooled as it pounced onto the shore, tearing a large chunk out of the meaty ground and quickly starting a fight with the giant lion, which was as big as a small mountain.

“See? This island is easy to enter but difficult to leave!” Heracles reminded, “The beasts guarding the edge have survived countless battles…”

“Really? They don’t seem that impressive!” Liam remarked, looking around, “Staying here for a few days before leaving should be fine, right, Captain?”

“Sure,” Robin replied with a light smile, “The scenery here is beautiful!”

Liam turned back, observing the bizarre and strange plants and seeds of the jungle around them, where occasionally a drooling, twisted man-eating flower would pop out… Beautiful scenery?

Six days later…

An iron rod stood upright on the ground, with a wooden board placed on top. Liam sat comfortably on it, eating fruit and gazing into the distance.

Seabirds flew across the sky.

“It’s about time to leave!” Liam bit off the fruit pit and swallowed it.

It wasn’t because he was tired of eating— though he had nearly consumed the entire island— but mainly because Robin had finished all the books she had bought for the City fortress.

Liam shifted slightly, causing the wooden board to tilt and slide off the iron rod.

He fell to the ground and gave a light kick to the bottom of the rod, making it spin rapidly in place.

Liam reached out and grabbed the spinning iron rod’s middle section and soon found the green Den Den Mushi, which had been lazing among the flowers.

“Have you gotten fat?” Liam tapped the shell of the Den Den Mushi with the end of the rod. His control over the force was precise, a far cry from the days when his fingers would accidentally crack its shell.

The green Den Den Mushi, seemingly disinterested, opened a City gate on its body, and Robin peeked out, “Are we leaving?”

She BIU’d out of the Den Den Mushi City fortress and stood in front of Liam.

“Hmm?” Robin was surprised, comparing the height between her head and Liam’s body, “You’ve grown taller, quite a lot!”

Liam looked down at her, pinched her cheeks, and replied, “You seem to have gained weight.”

Robin: “…”

Heracles flew over on a giant-scale beetle and asked, “Are you leaving? I was still thinking of introducing those special seeds to you!”

“Forget it, Heracles. I’m not interested in seeds,” Liam said with a smile, “Perhaps there will be someone more suited to learn these things from you in the future.”

Meanwhile, dark energy surged around him as the Stand armor materialized, retrieving the Shiro Shiro no Mi (Castle-Castle Fruit) chip from inside the green Den Den Mushi, passing it over his own body, and copying the City fortress ability to himself.

Liam asked, “Heracles, have you ever thought about leaving this place?”

“I have left, but I eventually came back!” Heracles said, folding his arms, “Since I can remember, I’ve been on this island. I don’t know who my father is or who my mother is… I’m very familiar with everything here, every meal on the island, every plant’s characteristics, every beast’s strength… But the outside islands are too complex, with varying amounts of plants, and irregular seasons! There are so many people, it’s astonishing… I don’t think I can ever get used to it, so I came back.”

“I see,” Liam nodded.

Heracles asked, “How are you going to leave?”

“Like this,” Liam said, snapping his fingers at Robin, who vanished into thin air.

Heracles was startled and then saw Liam begin to swipe from the top of his head downwards.

“Goodbye, Masked Superman.”

And with that, Liam disappeared.
