Buzz, buzz, buzz!
Inside the opulent Asgardian Spaceship that had flown to the top of Ego’s palace, two magical Spatial Teleportation portals opened. Gamora, Star-Lord, and the slightly lagging Yondu were tossed through them one by one.
Bang, bang, bang!
“It’s safe here. Just stay put for now,” Peter shouted towards Gamora and the others, standing at the entrance of the magical teleportation portal.
Then, Peter retracted his head and rushed back into the battlefield, leaving Star-Lord and the others on the floor of the luxurious Spaceship, looking at each other in astonishment.
“Hey! This is our fight! Don’t steal the spotlight like that!!” After getting up from the floor, Star-Lord shouted towards the quickly vanishing magical teleportation portal.
Who knew if the people on the other side could hear Star-Lord’s shout, but regardless, the magical portal soon closed, leaving them stranded inside the luxurious Spaceship.
“What should we do now? Are we just leaving Ego to them? He’s the one who killed my mother!” Star-Lord looked at Gamora and Yondu beside him with a helpless expression.
When Star-Lord looked at Yondu, his gaze clearly changed.
The image of a good father that Ego had created for Star-Lord had completely collapsed, and now Star-Lord understood the immense pressure Yondu had been under for all those years just for his sake. Although Yondu had indeed done some wrong things in the past, he had still been good to him.
“Since Phantom Knight and the others took us away, they obviously have the confidence to deal with Ego. Let’s just wait here.” Seeing that they were all safe for now, Yondu sighed in relief and responded calmly.

Apart from Lin Rui’s group of four who had come to support, the remaining fighters in this palace who were on the brink of collapse were Rocket Raccoon, Groot, and Mantis, who had been hiding at the edge of the palace all along.

Narrowing the range of his domain to his immediate vicinity, Lin Rui used a few Blink movements to appear in front of Mantis.
“I know Ego has a core underground. Do you know the exact location?” Lin Rui quickly asked as Mantis looked at him in surprise.
“It’s right beneath this palace! Just keep going down, and you’ll find it!” Without hesitation, Mantis responded quickly.
Since she had already revealed Ego’s true purpose and knew that once Ego dealt with these people, he wouldn’t spare her either, she might as well expose Ego’s weakness entirely.
“Okay, come with us. Perhaps you can help us later.” Lin Rui said, and he enveloped Mantis within his domain.

In the next moment, after using a few Blink movements, Lin Rui pulled everyone except Thor, Rocket, and Groot inside his domain, taking on all the attacks from the energy tentacles himself.
“Thor! Stop fooling around. Ego’s core is underground, and we need to drill in to deal with him!” As he rushed toward Thor, Lin Rui shouted.
“Understood!” Hearing Lin Rui’s voice, Thor, cloaked in thunder, responded.
Boom, boom, boom!
In the next moment, Lin Rui saw Thor flying above the palace, wielding the God of Thunder’s Hammer high. Then, Lin Rui and the others looked outside through the palace’s roofless area and saw that the clear sky had instantly turned gloomy. Thick clouds gathered over Thor’s head.
“Changing the environment on Ego’s planet… It seems Thor’s power has truly increased significantly!” Lin Rui mumbled silently as he watched Thor’s awe-inspiring display.
Boom!
With a mighty bolt of lightning descending from the clouds, Thor swung the God of Thunder’s Hammer and charged downward. Then, following the thunder, Thor rammed headfirst into the already heavily damaged ground.
