Finally, Shuri’s finger pointed at the bewildered Lin Rui.

“You, come with me!”

An hour later, when T’Challa had finished his meeting with the Wakandan tribal elders, he returned to find Bucky sitting in the laboratory’s rest area with a look of resignation. Meanwhile, Lin Rui and Shuri were engaged in a heated argument in the workspace.

“Having vibranium doesn’t make it great! I’m telling you, optimizing the system like this is the best approach, but you insist it won’t work!”

“Hmph! You, an outsider, are just narrow-minded. Do you even know the true value of vibranium? Only this system truly represents the value of vibranium!”

“Why don’t you try it to find out? After all, this is your laboratory. Are you afraid I’ll cause damage?”

Walking briskly over to Bucky, T’Challa, now the official king of Wakanda, was eager to find out what had transpired. When he had been in the meeting with the elders, Shuri had abruptly left, but T’Challa hadn’t thought much of it. After all, what could possibly happen within Wakanda’s borders?

However, once the meeting concluded, T’Challa was informed by his subordinates of the unexpected incident that had occurred in the laboratory. While he had been worried that Shuri might do something to Bucky and Lin Rui, his subordinates had also mentioned that the situation appeared to have changed.

So now, when T’Challa rushed over, he was greeted by this peculiar scene. If Jackson, the young teenager who had acted like a middle-schooler, had indeed caused trouble in the laboratory, how could Shuri be so relaxed and even engage in a heated argument with him?

Although they appeared to be quarreling now, T’Challa could clearly sense that Shuri’s tone lacked any trace of anger.

“T’Challa, you’re finally back!” Seeing T’Challa rushing over, Bucky stood up with a somewhat helpless expression.

“What happened? Bucky, what on earth did your nephew do? Did he really crack the Kimoyo bead?”

“Uh… I think so. I didn’t know Jackson had such a talent for intelligent systems. If I had known, I would’ve advised him not to mess around!”

Upon hearing Bucky’s response, T’Challa’s eyes also lit up. He had witnessed Bucky’s abilities; as a retired mercenary living in seclusion, Bucky’s skills were not far behind those of Black Panther, who had enhanced his body using the Heart-Shaped Herb.

If it weren’t for the fact that Bucky wasn’t a Wakandan, T’Challa would have considered making him the captain of his personal guard. T’Challa had known Bucky for a long time and had sparred with him several times. Without using the Black Panther suit, T’Challa and Bucky were evenly matched.

Now, T’Challa, his powerful friend’s nephew apparently having a talent for intelligent systems capable of cracking Wakanda’s systems, couldn’t help but be surprised. T’Challa’s first impression of Lin Rui hadn’t been very favorable, but if this young man truly possessed such talent, he would need to take a closer look.

Perhaps Wakanda couldn’t continue clinging to tradition. While the rapid development of technology brought by vibranium had placed Wakanda far ahead of the outside world for many years, it was still just a nation formed by a union of a few tribes. Relying solely on self-sufficiency, the reserve of talent would eventually run dry.

It was important to note that the outside world was progressing rapidly as well. Especially in recent years, powerful metahumans and scientific geniuses have emerged one after another.

How long could Wakanda maintain its technological lead? Moreover, with the recent invasion of Earth by extraterrestrial civilizations and the rapid formation of the Earth Federation, T’Challa foresaw that Wakanda might no longer be able to remain hidden.

In the recent meeting, T’Challa and the tribal elders had not only discussed the theft of vibranium by Ulysses Klaue from Wakanda several years ago and his reappearance but also the search for information about the current global situation, particularly the establishment of the Earth Federation.

In T’Challa’s view, Wakanda indeed needed change. Each tribe had traditionally followed its own ways, isolating Wakanda from the rest of the Earth’s space to shield it from external conflicts.

But with Earth now facing threats from extraterrestrial civilizations and efforts by major powers to achieve unity, it seemed that there was no longer a need for Wakanda to remain hidden.

However, there were both supporters and opponents of T’Challa’s vision. Some tribal members could see the benefits of Wakanda’s connection with the outside world, while others preferred the status quo, believing that Wakanda should focus on protecting its own territory.

T’Challa realized that making changes in Wakanda would be a lengthy process, given these differing opinions.

“Watching Shuri argue with Jackson like this, it seems that Jackson is really quite capable!” Standing beside Bucky and observing Lin Rui and Shuri’s ongoing debate, T’Challa couldn’t help but express his admiration.

“Is it really okay for them to argue like this? After all, Shuri is Wakanda’s princess, and Jackson can be quite… impudent.”

“It’s fine. Shuri has always been headstrong since she was a child; even my mother couldn’t control her. Now that she has someone to challenge her in her own field of expertise, I think it’s rather good.” T’Challa replied nonchalantly, dismissing Bucky’s concerns.

“That’s good… By the way, I haven’t congratulated you on becoming the king! And the king of such a powerful nation! I have to say, I’m truly amazed that you invited me here. The real Wakanda feels like a kingdom that only exists in stories!”

“Haha, I’m proud of Wakanda’s current state. However, there will always be those who seek to disrupt our harmonious life…”

“Who? Is it the terrorists who attacked your father this time?”

“No… Don’t worry about that; we will handle it.” T’Challa didn’t provide further explanation regarding his slip of the tongue when Bucky inquired about the attackers.

Meanwhile, as T’Challa returned and conversed with Bucky, the debate between Lin Rui and Shuri finally came to an end. In the end, Shuri conducted an experiment using the system optimization proposal provided by Lin Rui.

Surprisingly, the results of this experiment were slightly better than the previous performance of their own system.

Though she couldn’t quite understand how an outsider had managed to leverage vibranium’s value through their system in such a short time, Shuri ultimately accepted Lin Rui’s system optimization proposal.

In return, Lin Rui was given the opportunity for a close encounter with nanotechnology. At that moment, Lin Rui resembled a young, brilliant scholar enthusiastically delving into new knowledge.
