Under the influence of the ultrasonic waves, Venom and Riot continued to howl and thrash on the ground beneath the launch well. Eddie and Carlton Drake, who were enveloped by Venom and Riot, had no way to resolve their current situation.
They could occasionally catch glimpses of each other through the gaps created by Venom and Riot, but they were helpless to do anything.
Finally, after Venom and Riot struggled on the ground for nearly a minute, the high-frequency sound waves peeled them away from Eddie and Carlton Drake. Separated from Eddie and Carlton Drake, Venom and Riot continued to endure the assault of the ultrasonic waves, unable to re-possess their hosts.

Due to the sudden appearance of the ultrasonic waves, both Venom and Riot had temporarily lost their mobility, and they were even completely separated from their hosts.
Eddie and Carlton Drake were no fools; they knew that as long as the ultrasonic waves persisted, Venom and Riot were rendered powerless. Therefore, there was no rush to engage with Venom and Riot at this moment.
With Venom and Riot out of the picture, the balance of power between Eddie and Carlton Drake seemed to level out. While Venom and Riot had a significant gap in their abilities despite being of the same species, Eddie and Carlton Drake were both ordinary humans, with Eddie being somewhat stronger.

As long as the host perished, no matter how powerful Venom might be, it would be impossible for him to repossess a host. Riot killing Eddie was equivalent to killing Venom.
With a quick glance at the already fatally wounded Eddie, Riot immediately turned around and continued charging toward the area above the launch well. The recent appearance of the ultrasonic waves had made Riot more cautious, but now he only had one choice: to enter the spacecraft!

Just as Riot struck Eddie a fatal blow and made another dash for the spacecraft, a blob of black goo suddenly emerged from beneath the platform where Eddie had fallen. Venom had finally crawled back. Upon contact with Eddie, Venom skillfully completed the parasitic process.
“Phew! Almost lost you…”
Feeling the extent of Eddie’s injuries, Venom thought to himself while expending energy to pull Eddie back from the brink of death. Then, Venom once again covered Eddie’s body, and he swiftly removed the longsword that belonged to Riot, embedded in Eddie’s chest.
“Venom…”
With Venom rearming Eddie, Eddie finally regained consciousness. Having just returned from the brink of death, Eddie wasn’t fully recovered yet, but he softly called out to Venom.
“Eddie, someone has intervened. Perhaps we no longer need to stop Riot,” Venom quickly explained upon hearing Eddie’s voice.
In Venom’s view, the entire launch well had already been surrounded by an armed squad, and there was a tight seal even in the surrounding waters. The small device that had emitted the ultrasonic waves earlier had clearly been used by the person or team sealing off this area. Venom believed that Riot’s plan was now destined to fail.
