“What’s going on?” A wave of perplexity washed over Su Jing as he witnessed the astonishing resilience of the eight individuals. The injuries they had sustained should have been fatal, rendering them incapable of movement.
Yet, they stood upright, their sinister aura lingering on their bodies, and the souls of the onlookers continued to be drained away.
“These eight people are no longer ordinary humans,” Su Jing concluded, his heart growing colder with this realization. Song Junhao and Ou Qingsong, consumed by their hatred and thirst for revenge, remained oblivious to the transformation they had undergone.
In truth, a sense of unease crept into the minds of Song Junhao, Ou Qingsong, and others. Despite the severity of their wounds, why were they still able to stand? And why did they feel no pain, why did they feel that their bodies were no longer their own?
However, Song Junhao and Ou Qingsong were too consumed by their resentment toward Su Jing to dwell on such thoughts. The remaining assailants launched their attacks, determined to fulfill their mission.
Unleashing a relentless onslaught, Su Jing’s strikes became even more merciless. When confronted by a brawny African man, he infused the Elephant Seal with surging True Qi. The impact not only shattered the man’s bones but also crushed his internal organs.
As another African man charged toward him, Su Jing executed a devastating attack. Yet, just as the man was about to be struck, a hand formed from black mist suddenly emerged from Song Junhao’s chest, targeting the Angel Badge hanging on Su Jing’s chest.
“He finally reveals himself,” The expression on Su Jing’s face changed, though he maintained his composure, anticipating this very moment.
In an instant, he neither retreated nor intended to fight barehanded. Instead, an enormous Dragon Soul materialized from his back, accompanied by a resounding dragon’s roar.
The power of the Heavenly Dragon Seal surged forth, directly colliding with the hand formed from black mist.
“Boom!” The black hand disintegrated, accompanied by a piercing scream. The African man was sent hurtling through the air as blood and flesh splattered in its wake.
“The Undead Being is hiding within that black man?” Su Jing’s focus shifted as he was no longer concerned with the others. Swiftly, he pursued the African man who had been flung away.
Yet, Song Junhao, Ou Qingsong, and the remaining assailants surrounded Su Jing, attempting to impede his path. Su Jing contemplated effortlessly dispatching them with a casual strike, recognizing that wasting time on these insignificant foes would serve no purpose here.
The paramount task at hand was dealing with the Undead Being to prevent its escape once again.
However, in this crucial moment, hands formed from black mist abruptly extended from Song Junhao, Ou Qingsong, and the others.
“What’s happening?” Su Jing’s expression contorted with alarm. The Dragon Soul behind him surged with heightened intensity as he swiftly retaliated and withdrew.
Though Su Jing managed to shake off or evade most of the black hands, one palm succeeded in gripping his arm, inflicting a searing pain.
Glancing downward, he discovered three deep wounds etched into his flesh, down to the bone. The surrounding muscles appeared corroded, encircled by the black mist, and his blood had turned a sinister shade of black.
Fortunately, the Angel Badge continued to emit its Holy Light, causing the black mist on the wounds to swiftly dissipate. Su Jing also observed that the black hands extending from Song Junhao, Ou Qingsong, and the others retracted instantly upon contact with Holy Light, their black mist dissolving under the purification of the Holy Light.
Quickly, Su Jing retrieved a healing spirit medicine from his storage bag that had originated from the “Zhu Xian” Universe. Applying it to the wound, he stemmed the bleeding and initiated the healing process.
Simultaneously, he analyzed the situation within his mind, “The Undead Being must be utilizing a method to conceal its presence within their bodies, allowing them to partially evade the purifying effects of the Angel’s Holy Light. But why do several individuals exhibit signs of Undead Being presence? Does this mean I must eliminate all eight of them? Undoubtedly, the Undead Being entity is among them.”
Lost in contemplation, Su Jing swiftly manipulated the Angel Badge, retracting the Holy Light within the badge. The Angel Badge possessed two modes of operation: One focused on self-protection through the Holy Light’s shield, while the other is emitting Holy Light outward.
The range of the Holy Light emission could be controlled, with broader coverage resulting in weaker effects.
Now that the presence of the Undead Being had been confirmed, there was no need to expand the Holy Light’s range extensively. As long as it enveloped the immediate area, it would suffice.
Furthermore, in moments of peril, the Holy Light could serve as a safeguard for Su Jing. The Undead Being’s recent attacks had all been directed at the Angel Badge. Thankfully, Su Jing’s vigilance allowed him to evade them.
If the opponent had succeeded in destroying the Angel Badge, it would have spelled disaster for Su Jing and the Earth.
At this moment, laughter, filled with malice and disdain, echoed through the air as the Undead Being revealed itself.
“Hehehe, I didn’t expect you to actually refine the Dragon Soul. Once again, I seem to have underestimated you, you detestable human. You have incurred my wrath,” The familiar and unpleasant voice of the Undead Being reverberated out in the Boxing Arena.
It appeared that all eight individuals, including Song Junhao, now spoke simultaneously, their voices infused with the unmistakable essence of the Undead Being.
As this unsettling revelation unfolded, Su Jing witnessed a peculiar and horrifying sight. The African man, whose body had been brutally mangled by Su Jing’s Dragon-Elephant Law Seal while in his Dragon Soul state, crawled towards a European-American spectator.
With a grotesque determination, he sank his teeth into the unfortunate individual’s foot, causing a rapid and unsettling transformation. As if drained of all vitality, the victim’s once vibrant body withered and shriveled, their eyes losing all signs of life.
In stark contrast, the mangled African man’s injuries miraculously healed. Despite his body having been completely shattered, defying all logic, he rose once more, ready to sink his teeth into two more unsuspecting victims.
Observing Song Junhao, Ou Qingsong, and the others swiftly converging on nearby spectators, it became evident that their aim was to replenish their own vitality by feeding on innocent lives.
Filled with determination, Su Jing refused to stand idly by as they regained their strength. Without hesitation, he propelled himself towards Song Junhao, fully aware of the dire consequences should Song Junhao reach the Chinese spectators.
