The entire audience was equally taken aback by this sight. The information they had received was accurate— Song Queen was indeed absent. Could the figure before their eyes be a ghost?
“Oh my, what on earth is happening?” Someone whispered in astonishment.
“Could it be that all these superstar appearances are actually ghosts?” Another person speculated.
“Ghosts? Come on, it’s the 21st century! Who believes in such things?” A skeptical voice chimed in. “If I’m not mistaken, this must be the… I don’t know. But this must be something explainable.”
“What’s going on? Is this some kind of new technology they’re showcasing?” Wang Siya asked, her eyes wide with shock as she turned to Wang Zhuo and Zheng Nan.
“You’re right,” Wang Zhuo and Zheng Nan replied, sharing a knowing smile between them.
“Qingqing, do you have any idea what’s happening?” Lv Qingya, Yang Wei, Zhu Jianhua, Liu Yin, and the others wore expressions of surprise and confusion, unable to fully comprehend the spectacle before them.
“I think I know. This is the legendary 3D holographic projection!” Qin Xulan suddenly exclaimed.
“It’s highly likely! Oh my, Brother Jing is up to something again!” Liu Qing exclaimed with excitement.
“But how is that possible? 3D holographic projection is something we only see in sci-fi movies, right?” Zhou Lan muttered, feeling like she had stepped into a surreal dream.
Meanwhile, on the stage, the young man who had delivered the flowers had been swiftly restrained by the security guards. He remained in a dazed state, making their job easier.
Approaching Song Queen, Su Jing walked behind her, seemingly about to collide with her, yet the collision never occurred. Su Jing passed through Song Queen’s body, their forms partially overlapping.
He then crouched down, retrieved the bouquet of flowers, and smiled, addressing the crowd, “I would like to express my gratitude to the friend who presented these flowers. Unfortunately, Song Queen couldn’t make it tonight, so I’ll accept them on her behalf.”
“I’m sure many of you have noticed that something is amiss. Many of the superstars present here are in different cities, provinces, and even foreign countries. How is it possible for them to all be here?” Su Jing’s voice resonated as he continued to walk along the row of superstars, seamlessly passing through each one. “Some of you may have already guessed it. That’s right, they haven’t physically come here. What you see are mere holographic representations. This is the cutting-edge technology developed by our Galactic Corporation Group— 3D Holographic Projection.”
A moment of silence hung in the air before the entire audience erupted into excited discussions and exclamations.
The realization dawned upon them— this was the realization of the 3D holographic projection, a technology previously confined to the realms of science fiction and legends.
…
The audience, both present and those watching the live stream, found it increasingly difficult to believe their eyes as they witnessed Su Jing effortlessly pass through one superstar after another, accompanied by his captivating explanation.
“3D holographic projection, is it real or fake?” Someone in the crowd pondered aloud.
“It’s right in front of us, how can it possibly be fake?” Another responded with an astounded expression on his face.
“I must admit, it’s truly unbelievable. We’ve only seen this kind of technology in sci-fi movies. Who would have thought we would witness it in reality so soon?” A third person exclaimed, their disbelief apparent on their face.
“Brother Jing’s Galactic Corporation Group has a knack for turning the impossible into reality. Neuroprosthetics, Artificial Intelligence, 5G Networks, self-driving cars, and various other cutting-edge innovations have already been introduced by them. When you compare it to those achievements, holographic projection seems almost within reach,” Someone explained, trying to rationalize the mind-boggling spectacle.
“You’ve left me speechless with your words,” Another replied, still attempting to come to terms with the awe-inspiring display before them.
Despite their attempts to comprehend the situation, everyone present remained utterly shocked. 3D Holographic Projection, a concept that had initially existed only in the realms of science fiction movies, now stood before them as a bewildering reality.
Just imagine, instead of the mundane video communications we are accustomed to, we could have holographic projections that appear right in front of us. The thought alone was exhilarating.
The disparity between holographic projection and video communication was akin to the difference between video and text— it was a significant leap in the immersive experience.
“If this technology is implemented in movies, we won’t need 3D glasses anymore, and the sense of realism and depth will be unparalleled. It will genuinely revolutionize the movie-watching experience,” Someone chimed in as their eyes sparked with excitement.
“Little Ya, what do you think? Isn’t this new technology mind-blowing?” Wang Zhuo asked, unable to contain his triumphant laughter and the childlike delight that was shining in his eyes.
“It’s not just mind-blowing; it’s revolutionary. But Third Brother, why are you looking so proud? I’m sure A’Jing had a hand in this once again, didn’t he?” Wang Siya chuckled with a knowing expression on her face.
“Hehe, we’re a team, without distinction,” Wang Zhuo replied but his smile was tinged with a touch of awkwardness at this moment.
“Your Deity is soaring once more,” Lv Qingya sighed dramatically.
“He has been soaring for quite a while, forget that he never even descended,” Yang Wei lamented with a mix of admiration and amazement in her voice.
“Although we have grown accustomed to it, we are still astounded each time,” Zhu Jianhua, Liu Yin, Peng Ming, Pan Xue, Deng Mintang, Qin Xulan, Liu Qing, Zhou Lan, and others expressed, their voices filled with shock and exhilaration.
The mere thought of utilizing holographic projection in the future made it impossible for them to contain their excitement.
The news swiftly spread, reaching the participating celebrities who had partaken in the video performances. Suddenly, a realization dawned upon them. No wonder they had felt as if they were physically present at the venue despite not being physically there.
No wonder Su Jing had not required their physical presence— it was unnecessary altogether. With 3D holographic projection, it was more than enough. Not only did it create the same effect, but it also served as a promotion for the groundbreaking technology.
