The air still held traces of chaotic energy, and the room was in disarray, with evidence of various sins scattered everywhere. One could hardly imagine the madness that had taken place here.
“Sob… Red Dragon Emperor, I hate you! I hate you!” Tears streaming down her face, Serafall straddled Tenraku, pounding on him relentlessly.
After thoroughly unleashing her anger on Tenraku, Serafall finally freed herself from the influence of the Seed of Lust and regained her composure. But the memory of what had happened before filled her with shame and indignation, almost causing her to break down.
It was all because of that despicable Red Dragon Emperor that she had suffered so much. Not only had he subjected her to such torment, but he had also made Azazel and even Sona aware of their affair. She felt she had no face left to live, and perhaps it was best for her to end it all with this bastard!!!
“Serafall, calm down,” Tenraku urged. “You’re a Demon King, so be strong!”
Grabbing Serafall’s delicate fists, Tenraku felt a headache coming on. He didn’t mind comforting her under normal circumstances, but with the unprecedented threat of the God of the Holy Bible outside, he couldn’t afford to be distracted.
Being scolded like this by Tenraku only made Serafall feel even more aggrieved. “Damn you, Red Dragon Emperor! After making me suffer like this, you have the nerve to tell me to be strong? Why don’t you just die?!!!”
“Sob… I’ll bite you! I’ll bite you to death!!!” Enraged beyond reason, Serafall didn’t care about her shame or dignity anymore. Baring her silver teeth, she lunged at Tenraku.
While it might have been amusing when Rias and the others teased him, Serafall was deadly serious. Tenraku couldn’t afford to let her sink her teeth into him. Startled, he quickly dodged her biting attack.
“That’s enough!” Sitting up, Tenraku’s tone turned stern. “Serafall, how long do you intend to keep acting like this? If you continue, I’ll have to bully you again!”
Though he was usually gentle, Tenraku was now visibly angry. If it weren’t for the God of the Holy Bible outside posing an unprecedented threat, he might have been more lenient. But now was not the time for indulgence.
Startled by Tenraku’s sudden change in demeanor, Serafall covered her mouth and stopped her tantrum. But she felt even more aggrieved inside.
Seeing the tearful expression of the Demon King, Tenraku couldn’t help but feel a mix of amusement and exasperation. Nevertheless, he softened his tone slightly.
“Serafall, I know you’re upset, but we’re facing a serious threat right now. This is not the time for tantrums. I’ll apologize to you properly later, but for now, you need to behave, understand?”
Serafall quickly nodded. She didn’t want to stay here any longer. She didn’t want to be bullied by that damned Red Dragon Emperor anymore!
“That’s a good girl.” Seeing Serafall cooperate, Tenraku smiled. He gently wiped away the tears from her face, cleaned them both up, changed their clothes, and then led Serafall out of the Saints and Demons Hall.
Although they had spent several hours in the Fallen state inside the Saints and Demons Hall, only a few minutes had passed outside, thanks to the Time Domain that Tenraku had activated in advance.
“Elder sister!” “Sona-chan…” Seeing her older sister and Tenraku emerge, Sona’s face lit up with joy. However, Serafall avoided eye contact, unable to face her younger sister.
“I’m sorry, elder sister. I’m truly, truly sorry…” Sona immediately hugged Serafall, apologizing profusely.
She had always felt that her older sister was too clingy, suffocating her with her love. Even though she knew her sister loved her dearly, it sometimes felt overwhelming. That’s why she always tried to avoid her older sister whenever possible.
But after losing her once, Sona realized just how much she cared about her older sister, and how important she was to her.
When Sona learned that her elder sister had entered the isolated barrier and might never see her again, endless regret and self-blame filled her heart. She had promised herself that if she ever saw her elder sister again, she would apologize sincerely and never do anything to hurt her again.
Embraced tightly by her beloved younger sister, Serafall trembled all over, listening to her tearful yet sincere apology.
“Sona-chan…” “Elder sister…” “Sob…”
Opening their hearts to each other, the two sisters embraced each other tightly and wept together.
“Thank goodness, Lady Sona, Lady Serafall…” Shinra Tsubaki and the others wiped away their tears, genuinely happy for their mistresses.
Tenraku couldn’t help but sigh. After going through all this, these two sisters should understand each other and love each other even more.
After crying for a long time, Sona and Serafall finally began to calm down. They released each other and quickly composed themselves.
“Tenraku, don’t you have anything to explain to me?” Sona’s expression turned somewhat unpleasant as she looked at Tenraku.
Feeling a sense of dread, Tenraku glanced at Sasazi and the others beside him, who all looked apologetic. It seemed that Sona already knew everything about him and Serafall.
“I’m sorry, Sona. I don’t want to explain too much, but I can promise that I’ll take responsibility,” Tenraku sighed, realizing that explaining further would only anger Sona more.
“Take responsibility? Of course, you have to take responsibility for what you’ve done! But do you think it’s that simple to just apologize and expect to be forgiven?” Sona’s tone was icy as she spoke.
When she learned about what had happened between her elder sister and Tenraku from Sasazi and Nanami, Sona was furious. Even though her sister and Rias didn’t know about it, Tenraku had dared to make a move on her elder sister!
“Sona-chan, it’s not all Red Dragon Emperor’s fault. It’s because I lost to him back then that things turned out like this,” Serafall interjected, feeling a sudden urge to speak up, but she immediately regretted it.
Stupid, stupid, stupid! Why did she speak up for that despicable Red Dragon Emperor?!
Hearing her elder sister’s words, Sona was stunned, and even Tenraku’s expression turned peculiar. Could it be that Serafall had really developed feelings for him?
“Elder sister, you…” “Sona-chan, I…” “Sob…”
Sona looked at her elder sister in disbelief, while Serafall blushed with embarrassment and covered her face, unable to face anyone.
Seeing her elder sister like this, Sona couldn’t help but twitch her lips and sigh in resignation.
“Tenraku, dealing with the God of the Holy Bible is the priority now, so I won’t pursue this matter for the time being. But after everything is over, you owe me and my elder sister an explanation!” Sona stared at Tenraku with unwavering determination.
Relieved, Tenraku knew he had temporarily dodged a bullet. A smile crept onto his face. “Ah, I promise I will!”
