When they initially entered the Isolation Barrier Domain to deal with 666 (Trihexa), there were hundreds of leaders and Gods from various major factions. However, now not even a tenth of them remained.
Apart from a few leaders like Azazel, Odin, Zeus, and Falbium, many other leaders like the Patron God Viṣṇu and the Creation God Brahmā had fallen. Even Azazel and the others were probably only left because the God of the Holy Bible deemed them not much of a threat and spared them temporarily out of past camaraderie.
Though Tenraku had almost anticipated this situation, seeing it firsthand still made him sigh.
“Thank goodness!”
“Tenraku-sama, Princess Sona, please come and save Lady Serafall! Lady Serafall can’t hold on much longer!” At that moment, Serafall’s Peerage, Sasazi and Nanami, flew out, urgently calling out to Tenraku and Sona with joy and concern.
Sona’s face turned pale, and Tenraku’s eyes widened. Was it really that dire?
“Sister!” Sona exclaimed, rushing out immediately. Tenraku and Shinra Tsubaki quickly followed.
Serafall’s Peerage had erected a barrier inside to take care of her. As Tenraku and Sona entered the barrier, they felt a wave of intense heat mixed with a rich scent.
Upon seeing the scene inside, Tenraku and the others finally understood why Sasazi and Nanami had said Serafall was in dire straits.
“Lady Serafall, please hold on a bit longer. Tenraku-sama is here, and you’ll be free soon,” Sasazi pleaded with her, while Serafall struggled and cried out in agony.
Her entire body was flushed red, tortured by the unleashed desire to the point of near collapse. Tenraku’s mouth twitched involuntarily at the sight.
As his power increased, the Seed of Lust he left within Serafall naturally grew stronger. Once it erupted, even someone like Demon King of Serafall’s caliber couldn’t bear it. Suppressing the outbreak only made it worse, and it couldn’t be undone!
“Sister!” Worried sick about her elder sister, Sona rushed over, but Serafall ignored her usual doting younger sister and instead broke free from her restraints, throwing herself at Tenraku.
“Please, Red Dragon Emperor, give it to me!” She begged through tears and sobs. The sight of her elder sister in such a state left Sona and Shinra Tsubaki speechless.
Although slightly bewildered, Tenraku knew he had to relieve Serafall of the effects of the Seed of Lust before her mind collapsed.
Unaware of what had happened to her elder sister, Sona watched in distress. Seeing her elder sister in this state was heartbreaking.
“I’ll help your elder sister first, Sona. I’ll explain later,” He said to Sona before activating his Time Domain and disappearing with Serafall into the Saints and Demons Hall.
…
“Mother, Rias, Grayfia, I never expected to reunite with you under these circumstances,” The God of the Holy Bible said, his expression complex as he looked at Venelana, Rias, and Grayfia.
“I’m not your mother, and you’re not my child!” Grayfia’s expression was cold, while Venelana’s eyes were filled with tears and hatred.
They had waited too long for this day. All their grievances would finally be settled today.
“Indeed, I am not the true Sirzechs,” He chuckled self-deprecatingly before turning his gaze to Rias.
“Rias, I’m sure you already know everything. You must have many questions for me, don’t you?”
“Feel free to ask whatever you want. While Tenraku and the others are occupied, I’ll answer any questions you have,” The God of the Holy Bible said, still resembling the older brother who had once doted on his younger sister.
Despite having already prepared herself, Rias found that she couldn’t remain as calm as she had imagined when faced with this moment.
Taking a deep breath, Rias spoke, her voice trembling slightly: “Did you kill my older brother? Did you kill my Otou-Sama? Did you do all of this?”
“Rias, haven’t you already figured out the answers?” The God of the Holy Bible replied.
“Yes, it was me,” He nodded without hesitation.
“Why? Why would you commit such cruel acts?” Tears welled up in Rias’s eyes as she demanded an answer.
“For my ideals, to bring true peace and love to this world,” The God of the Holy Bible answered earnestly, but Rias couldn’t help but scoff inwardly.
Just as Tenraku had suspected, this guy was one of those self-proclaimed righteous allies, talking about saving the world, saving humanity, and bringing true radiance and peace to the world. He never realized that the world didn’t need his salvation and that everyone would still be fine without him!
“Another question. Why did you choose my older brother? There are so many Devils in the Underworld, why him?” Rias struggled to control her emotions as she asked, though she knew it sounded somewhat selfish.
Still, it was a question that weighed heavily on her mind. With so many Devils in the Underworld and countless other beings, why did he specifically target her older brother?
“Rias, perhaps you don’t fully understand just how special your older brother is. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that he is the most perfect being ever born into the Devil race,” The God of the Holy Bible explained. “To achieve my ideals, Sirzechs’s power was necessary, so I chose him.”
“Now, do you understand?” He asked.
Shaking her head, Rias listened as the God of the Holy Bible continued.
Grayfia’s expression grew colder, while Venelana and Rias’s eyes filled with sorrow.
“Ah, I understand now,” Rias said.
“Then I have one final question for you. Have you been pretending to be my older brother all this time? Was all your care and protection for me just a facade?” Taking a deep breath to hold back her tears, Rias asked, her voice trembling.
This time, the expression on the God of the Holy Bible’s face became somewhat complex.
“It wouldn’t be accurate to call it a facade,” He explained. “To perfect the fusion of Sirzechs’s power, I not only occupied his body and magic power but also absorbed his memories and emotions.”
“Everything I did for you was based on Sirzechs’s emotional patterns. In other words, even the real Sirzechs would have done those things, regarding you as his most precious younger sister, caring for and protecting you as an older brother would.”
Rias’s entire body trembled at the words of the God of the Holy Bible. Closing her eyes, tears streamed down her cheeks, but there was a sense of relief in her heart.
However, when Rias opened her eyes again, all that remained was an icy resolve and a complete intent to kill:
“I understand now. Thank you for telling me all this.”
“In that case—”
“I can kill you without hesitation, to avenge my true older brother!”
