The more believers there were, the more faith power could be obtained.
Having billions of believers was no joke. Individually, they might not contribute much, but collectively, the power of the Tenraku’s Faith was terrifying!
However, not all believers were the same. There was a difference among them.
A newly joined, shallow believer in the Saints and Demons religion provided Tenraku with very little faith power. However, a saintess like Susan and a fervent believer provided Tenraku with faith power comparable to hundreds of other shallow believers combined!
The number of believers was crucial, but so was the fervor of their faith.
Throughout that month, the Saints and Demons religion continued to recruit believers for Tenraku. Meanwhile, Tenraku was fully committed to increasing and nurturing the zeal of his devotee girls.
To achieve this, Tenraku even developed several special abilities by combining the Gods and Demons scriptures, angel incantations, and five-sense manipulation Sacred Gears.
One of these abilities allowed Tenraku to disperse his soul into countless threads and enter the spiritual realms of all his faithful girls through the faith threads of the Gods and Demons Scripture.
Previously, Tenraku had been able to use the Gods and Demons Scripture to manifest before believers, but such manifestations were fragile and limited in number.
However, with this perfected ability, Tenraku could directly enter the spiritual realms of his devotees without any limitations!
If the soul could be compared to a ball of light, then Tenraku would be the center. Through the threads of faith, the souls of billions of believers were connected to Tenraku’s central soul. If he wanted, Tenraku could even communicate with all of his followers at the same time!
In order to increase his power as much as possible, Tenraku needed to increase the devotion of his followers to him in the limited time available. So he did something that even he found incredibly insane.
Every day, his soul would simultaneously enter the spiritual realms of thousands of devotee girls to perform various baptism rituals and even “soul fusion,” using the Angelic Incantations and Five Senses Manipulation abilities of the Sacred Gear to increase the faith and fervor of his devotee girls.
Just like physical fusion, soul fusion could bring endless pleasure to individuals, even surpassing physical fusion. In particular, the pleasure feedback from soul fusion with thousands of faithful girls at the same time was endlessly intoxicating, driving one to madness!
Tenraku couldn’t help but marvel at this. He had indeed done something incredibly crazy and over the top.
He was sure that he was the only one in this world who could experience such a supreme and incomparable pleasure. And all he needed was himself!
With this crazy and insane method, Tenraku had forcibly gained over three hundred million devotees in just one month. Given more time, he could produce even more!
If this fact were to become known, it would surely shock many people. While other gods were struggling to cultivate fervent believers, Tenraku was mass-producing them on an infinite scale!
With billions of believers, including some three hundred million fervent believers, Tenraku had gained an unimaginable and enormous amount of faith power.
Previously, Tenraku’s main source of power came from the feedback after he captured the Sacred Gears, and the power of faith played a secondary role. However, this month, his faith power skyrocketed, directly surpassing the total power Tenraku had gained from seizing the Sacred Gears!
In Tenraku’s estimation, his current power was comparable to that of Ophis and Lilith. In terms of true combat power, he far surpassed his two Dragon God pets!
Although 666 was powerful, and the God of the Holy Bible who had taken over Sirzech’s body and magic power was unfathomable, Tenraku now had the confidence to fight them!
“Holy Lord Sama, our church can barely hold the believers we’ve recruited.”
Susan’s voice, which had rested for a while, finally seemed to recover a bit, bringing Tenraku back to reality.
“If it gets too crowded, then expand the church.”
“I will inform Katerea about it. She’ll arrange for people to come, and all you have to do is cooperate.”
“Yes, Holy Lord Sama.”
Tenraku smiled and answered, and Susan answered as well.
In fact, it wasn’t just Susan’s church that was facing this problem. The Saintesses and leaders of several other churches had also reported this problem to Tenraku.
Even though they had originally built the churches of the Saint and Demon Religion quite large, they had underestimated the influence and prestige of the Saint and Demon Religion in today’s human world.
Of course, their main concern was the Saintess faction of the Saint and Demon Religion. In the demon faction, no one had reported to Tenraku that the churches were overcrowded.
After the experience of the previous war, the Demon Faction had recruited some new believers, but compared to the Saint Faction, it was simply dismal.
For example, both the Saintess Church and the Demoness Church established in Tokyo had nearly two thousand believers on Susan’s side, while they had recruited less than one hundred believers on Ichinosuke Ruri’s side. This discrepancy was nothing sort of tragic.
But that was normal. After all, the human world had been relatively peaceful before, with more good people than bad in a society governed by law. Who would want to be a demoness, feared and hated by others, when they could be a radiant saintess, respected and worshipped?
Most of the devotee girls who were taken in by the demon faction were individuals with twisted personalities or naturally evil people. If there were many people like them, the world would not be as peaceful as it is now.
To a certain extent, most of the demonesses of the Demon Faction were beings who had been abandoned by this world. Tenraku gave them faith and shelter, and in return, they gave Tenraku their insane loyalty and worship.
Although the Demon Faction was not very numerous, the percentage of devout believers was much higher than that of the Saint Faction.
In Tenraku’s philosophy, the world needed light, but it also needed darkness. Whether saint or demon, each person had their own value.
And he, as the holy lord god who ruled over all, determined their purpose, controlled their use, and allowed them to unfold their inherent value and significance…
