“I need time,” Tenraku sighed deeply.
Whether it was the God of the Holy Bible or 666 (Trihexa), they were unprecedentedly formidable enemies. Dealing with just one of them was a headache, but now that he had to face both of them at once, even Tenraku felt an immense pressure.
“Tenraku, your growth has been too fast. If I allow you to continue to grow unchecked, it will cause problems for me as well. So you should understand that I cannot give you any more time,” Sirzechs shook his head.
“I need time!” Tenraku’s voice was filled with a vast and rising aura.
666 could appear and disappear at any moment. If he followed them now to confine 666 to the area of the Isolation Barrier and entered together, facing both the God of the Holy Bible and the Sovereign Beast 666 – Trihexa at the same time, they would have no chance of success, even with the addition of Azazel’s power!
Though it may seem like playing dirty, this was a moment of life and death, not only for Tenraku himself, but also for Rias and the rest of the world. So, even if it meant playing dirty, he had to delay as long as possible. With time, he could become even stronger!
“Tenraku, you…” Sirzechs seemed a bit surprised by Tenraku’s behavior and shook his head with a smile before his tone changed. “One month, Tenraku. I can give you a month.”
“I will first enter the Isolation Barrier Domain with the leaders of the other great powers. But if you have not entered within a month, I will have to come out with 666 (Trihexa),” Sirzechs continued, his tone suggesting the gravity of the situation. “I doubt you want to see that scenario, do you?”
“I will enter within a month!” Knowing that this was the other party’s limit of tolerance, Tenraku made his decision.
Even though a month was short, it still gave him a buffer of time. As long as he used it well, he could still give it his all!
Seeing Tenraku’s decision, Sirzechs smiled.
The day of reckoning had been set, just one month after the leaders of the major powers and 666 (Trihexa) entered the Isolation Barrier Domain!
“You’re planning to enter the Isolation Barrier Domain with the other leaders to eliminate them all, aren’t you?” Tenraku’s gaze flickered as he asked.
“Yes, for the sake of my plan and dream, all the leaders must be removed as obstacles,” Sirzechs admitted without denying it. “Although it differs slightly from my original plan when Azazel and the others proposed the plan for the Isolation Barrier Domain, I felt that it might also be a good opportunity to eliminate all the leaders together.”
Tenraku and Grayfia both felt a chill in their hearts at this revelation. This guy actually wanted to lay hands on the leaders of the major powers!
Even though it sounded crazy, with him and 666 (Trihexa), it might actually be possible!
Tenraku immediately thought of informing the leaders of the major powers of this news, but he immediately rejected the thought.
The God of the Holy Bible, who played the role of Sirzechs, was highly respected by the Great Powers because he was recognized as an outstanding demon king, pacifist, and a good person.
Even if Tenraku told the leaders of the other powers, they might not believe him. And more importantly, once he showed his face to the other party, he might be able to thwart his plans, but he would also face his fierce counterattack. And Tenraku was not ready to face him yet!
“Before I enter the Isolation Barrier Domain, do not do anything against Azazel, Serafall or Odin,” Tenraku said in a low voice.
“I can save Azazel and Serafall for last, as long as you enter the Isolation Barrier Domain within the agreed time,” Sirzechs replied with a slight smile, not refusing.
Considering the demeanor and strength of the other party, he probably would not stoop to deceiving Tenraku in such matters. Tenraku heaved a sigh of relief. He didn’t have to worry much about Michael and the Angel faction.
As twisted as the God of the Holy Bible might be, he probably wouldn’t harm his angels and believers. As for the leaders of the other factions, Tenraku could only say that they were on their own.
The fact that the other party had agreed to save Azazel and Serafall for last already gave him face. Tenraku knew that he had no right to ask for more after having been given an inch.
“Is there anything else?” Tenraku asked.
“That is all. This meeting was just to set the time for our showdown,” Sirzechs replied.
“In that case, I will take my leave…” Tenraku said as he stood and walked out, Grayfia giving Sirzechs and Frayfia a cold look before disappearing into Tenraku’s shadow.
With Tenraku and Grayfia gone, only Sirzechs and Frayfia remained in the room.
“Why did you agree to give him another month? It’s a foolish decision,” Frayfia remarked, showing little respect for her creator.
“Because I want to see if there really are miracles in this world…” Sirzechs replied calmly, seemingly unfazed by Frayfia’s attitude.
“You are the supreme god who controls miracles. Why do you need to confirm their existence?” Frayfia replied sarcastically.
“It is different. The miracles I grant to the faithful are merely manifestations of power. Anyone with power can do the same. A true miracle defies the impossible, achieving victory even in the face of true adversity. That’s the kind of miracle I want to see,” Sirzechs explained.
“In fact, I sometimes wonder if everything I’ve done is really right. Even after reading the scriptures written by Tenraku, I’ve thought that perhaps Tenraku is better suited to lead this world than I am.
“So I’m willing to give Tenraku a chance, a chance to show me a miracle. Even though it is unlikely, if Tenraku can achieve victory under these circumstances, it will mean that he is the one truly chosen by the world. I wouldn’t mind giving him everything.
“But if it’s the opposite…”
“It means Tenraku is only mediocre, and I am the one truly chosen to lead this world…” Sirzechs trailed off, staring into the void before him, his eyes filled with depth.
The room fell silent until, after a long time, Frayfia uttered two words in a distant tone:
“How boring.”
