“Elders and leaders, do you not have any arrangements for the Human World?” The doubt in Tenraku’s mind grew stronger, and he couldn’t help but ask.

From the beginning of the meeting until now, everyone had been discussing how to deal with 666 (Trihexa) and how to protect their own territories, but hardly anyone had mentioned how to protect the Human World.

Compared to the Underworld, Heaven, and many other mythological worlds, the Human World was undoubtedly the weakest. Although the Human World had some decent organizations and noble families, their power was completely inadequate when faced with a monster like 666 (Trihexa).

However, the Human World was also very important. Almost every faction had its own bases, territories, and followers there. Even the Underworld had to rely on a large number of reincarnated devils to maintain their race which comes from humans.

Logically speaking, these leaders shouldn’t forget about the Human World, but the topic of the Human World was barely mentioned during the entire meeting, which was obviously abnormal.

As expected, when Tenraku voiced his concerns, the atmosphere in the meeting room became subtle.

“Tenraku-San, the thing is, we have already discussed the issue of the Human World,” Sirzechs explained, playing the role of a good guy.

“We have already begun contacting the leaders of the Human World, asking them to make preparations for evacuation and defense in advance. Our factions will also open some of our bases in the Human World to humans when the time comes.”

“666 (Trihexa)’s primary targets remain the major mythological factions. Although we do not rule out the possibility of ‘IT’ descending on the Human World, if that happens, we will immediately go to reinforce them.”

Although it sounded reasonable and had no obvious problems, Tenraku couldn’t help but be skeptical. “This still seems a bit inappropriate. The power of the human world is too weak. Even if they take some defensive measures in advance, it would be useless against a monster like 666 (Trihexa). Although the faction bases in the human world can shelter some people, the number of people they can shelter should be very limited.”

“If 666 (Trihexa) doesn’t come to the human world, that’s good. But if it does, it will inevitably bring a great disaster to the Human World.”

Tenraku rubbed his chin and expressed his concern.

“And what do you suggest, Red Dragon Emperor? Do you want us to send our forces to the Human World to protect those humans?” Śakro Devānām Indraḥ’s voice, tinged with sarcasm, came from the side as he looked at Tenraku.

“Heavenly Emperor is the leader of Buddhism, right? Aren’t you Buddhists all about saving sentient beings?” Tenraku replied, feeling the underlying hostility of the Heavenly Emperor.

“Heh heh… Now everyone is crossing the river in a mud bodhisattva, but if we can’t even save ourselves, how can we save others?” Śakro Devānām Indraḥ replied with a grin.

With a flicker in his eyes, Tenraku couldn’t help but blink. This Heavenly Emperor was really something!

The atmosphere between the two suddenly became tense and the other leaders looked at them. Except for Yasaka Princess and Michael, who looked worried, most of them looked expectant and playful.

Śakro Devānām Indraḥ was powerful, and there were few in the room confident enough to surpass him among the Demon Kings, Archangels, and other gods.

However, he always spoke with a sarcastic tone, as if the whole world owed him money. He was also ambitious and often made moves behind the scenes. The heroes sent by the Khaos Brigade, such as Cao Cao, seemed to have some connection with him, but since no evidence was found, everyone tacitly ignored it.

Everyone had their own dignity, even if they were a little annoyed with this guy, they didn’t want to fight with him as long as it didn’t affect their bottom line. But Tenraku didn’t have that many scruples. After all, he was young and passionate!

But even if they didn’t like each other, both Tenraku and Śakro Devānām Indraḥ knew that they couldn’t do anything right now, let alone start a big fight over this matter.

Seeing that the atmosphere between the two was not right, Sirzechs quickly stepped in again, “Heavenly Emperor-Sama, Tenraku-San, let’s calm down on both sides.”

“I apologize, Demon King Lucifer. I should not have argued with a greenhorn.”

“I’m sorry, Sirzechs-Sama. I shouldn’t have mistaken Heavenly Emperor for the legendary compassionate Buddha who would even cut his flesh to feed eagles.”

As they looked at each other, even though they were both apologizing, their words contained barbs.

“Hahaha…”

Rias and Sona, along with the other girls, felt their hearts almost jump into their throats. But Odin, the old man, God King Zeus, and even Sun Wukong on his cloud burst into hearty laughter. They couldn’t believe that someone had actually dared to stand up to Sakro Devānām Indraḥ. “This Red Dragon Emperor kid is something!”

While the God Kings and the Great Sage laughed freely, Sirzechs could only smile wryly. “Tenraku-San, you needn’t think of Heavenly Emperor-Sama as selfish and heartless. I understand that you may be dissatisfied with our arrangements for the human world, but our resources are limited. Just defending our own territories is a struggle. What we’ve achieved in the Human World is the best we can do.

After hearing Sirzech’s words, Tenraku couldn’t help but become serious. It seemed that the situation was much worse than he had imagined.

Sirzechs was right. Although the human world was crucial, they couldn’t neglect the safety of their own territories and send all their forces to protect them, not even Tenraku himself would do such a thing.

Despite his half-human blood, if there was an irreversible crisis, his priority would be to protect Rias and the others, followed by the Phenex family. Devils, angels, or humans would all come after that.

It was just instinctive selfishness, something inherent in every normal being. He couldn’t abandon his own family to protect strangers. He wasn’t that big of an idiot!

Of course, such a terrible situation was still far away. There were many things that Tenraku could do right now.

The world was facing a great disaster, but the human world lacked the power to defend itself. Human technology and weapons were useless against monsters like 666 (Trihexa), and even the powerful organizations among humans would be ineffective against it. The human world was in crisis.

But for Tenraku, this might be a rare opportunity!

With a slight smile on his lips, Tenraku made his decision and looked around the meeting room. “Sirzechs-sama, and everyone else present, why don’t you leave the protection of the Human World to me?”

To be continued…
