Encountering formidable opponents like Niðhöggr was a thing of the past. Tenraku, Yubelluna, and the other girls cleared out the small fry attacking them while making their way towards the city hall.

It seemed that Rizevim’s forces were running out of viable generals. Grendel and Ladon, known as the Great Sin Berserker Dragon and the Dragon Who Guards the Treasured Tree respectively, had been eliminated by Tenraku and refined into his Sacred Gear.

Walburga, the demoness, had been captured and trained by Tenraku into his tool slave.

Crom Cruach, the Dark Dragon of the Crescent Moon, had lost interest in the Evil Tree and left the Khaos Brigade. Euclid, who had narrowly escaped Tenraku’s grasp last time, hadn’t been seen since Grayfia caught up with him. Whatever transpired between them afterward remained a mystery.

Apart from those eliminated, captured, or departed, Rizevim had only three legendary Evil Dragons left under his command: [Extrajudicial Death Dragon] Niðhöggr [Primal Eclipse Dragon] Apophis, and [Forbidden Dragon of Demonic Origin] Aži Dahāka.

However, even though they weren’t entirely loyal to Rizevim; being evil and ruthless, their partnership was more about mutual exploitation than allegiance.

Currently, there seemed to be no formidable opponents around, not just for Tenraku but also on other battlefields. Rias and Sairaorg were dealing with minor characters. Tenraku concluded that Rizevim was almost alone now.

Seizing this opportunity and considering the circumstances, it would be a waste not to take out Rizevim now!

Clearing out the hindrances along the way, Tenraku, Yubelluna, and the other girls arrived at the city hall. They had cut off Rizevim’s escape route and agreed to regroup here. It seemed they were the first team to arrive.

Just as Tenraku was about to enter the city hall with the girls to search for Rizevim, Emperor Diehauser Belial’s projection appeared on the barrier light screen.

“Hello, everyone in the Underworld. I am Diehauser Belial. It seems that the Underworld believes I am missing, but as you can see, I am safe and sound.”

Besides Diehauser Belial’s projection, countless small screens appeared on the barrier light screen, showing many confused faces.

“Tenraku Sama, the Emperor is broadcasting live to the entire Underworld!” Recognizing the locations on the small screens as the Underworld, Yubelluna exclaimed in shock.

Even Tenraku narrowed his eyes. It seemed that the Emperor intended to stir up trouble at this moment.

Broadcasting his image to the entire Underworld wasn’t an easy feat. He must have obtained this power after joining the Qlippoth and receiving support from Rizevim!

“Now, I have something very important to tell everyone, and that is— the darkness behind Rating Games!”

After a pause, Emperor Diehauser spoke again.

“Tenraku Sama, should we stop him?” Yubelluna and the girls looked at Tenraku with seriousness in their eyes.

They knew about the darkness behind Rating Games, but if Emperor Diehauser Belial were to reveal it to everyone, the damage to the Underworld would be even greater than during the previous Underworld War!

Although it wouldn’t cause any physical harm, it would be a betrayal on a spiritual level, potentially sparking widespread discontent and even riots against the government!

Considering the bigger picture, the best course of action was to stop Emperor Diehauser Belial immediately. The darkness behind the Rating Games could be addressed later, without the public’s knowledge.

However—

“Why stop him? I’d like to see the panic on those big shots’ faces. They should have thought of the consequences of their actions.”

“Let’s wait here for a while. Let our Emperor finish his speech.”

Tenraku spoke with a cold chuckle.

In reality, Tenraku didn’t care much about the darkness behind the Rating Games. He had seen similar things before. However, what truly angered him was those bastards tarnishing the trust and dreams of Rias and causing Sona to reveal a painful expression of disillusionment.

Even though the Demon Kings of the current Underworld were trying to reform and guide the Devil race onto a new path, the older relics Devils still held a lot of power in their hands, secretly controlling and corrupting the entire Underworld.

Perhaps it was time to use drastic measures against those rotten individuals!

Although Tenraku’s decision was somewhat reckless and arguably not entirely correct, Yubelluna and the girls didn’t say anything more.

For them, their master’s will was absolute, and everything else didn’t matter to them.

Seemingly intending to let the people of the Underworld accept this sudden situation, after a while, Emperor Diehauser Belial finally began his speech—

“In my generation, known as the Generation of Harvest, many powerful new-generation Devils have emerged and fought spectacular battles in the Rating Games. I have sparred with Roygun Belphegor, who ranks second, and Bedeze Abaddon, who ranks third, enriching each other’s strength and the content of the games.”

“However, according to a certain source, unsettling information has reached me. It is said that Roygun, Bedeze, and other top-ranked players were once untalented Devils in their youth. At first, I scoffed at it, dismissing it as idle gossip and jealousy from those who couldn’t match their talents.”

“However, one day, my cousin Cleria brought me interesting information…”

Diehauser Belial spoke incessantly in the projection, captivating the attention of all the Underworld residents. However, in the magnificent castles, many prominent figures were furious—

“How dare he! How dare he?!”

“Immediately cut off all projections and prevent him from spreading rumors!”

“No, Lord Count, all projection systems have been forcibly invaded and cannot be terminated!”

“Bastard!”

“Go and erase all evidence by any means necessary!”

“Yes!”

To be continued…
