“Hǒǒǒuuu!!!” Grendel roared as he clashed with the three copies of himself.

They charged recklessly, clawing and biting at each other, demolishing countless skyscrapers in the city below.

“Zé Zé… Red Dragon Emperor, if I’m not mistaken, Grendel has become a Sacred Gear now, right? Did you turn him into this?” Rizevim inquired with a surprised look on his face.

“So what if I did?” Tenraku smirked coldly, not bothering to deny it.

“It seems not only Grendel, but Ladon might also have met the same fate.” Rizevim marveled. “To be able to turn the soul of an Evil Dragon into a Sacred Gear, Red Dragon Emperor, you’re capable of things even gods can’t do. It’s truly astounding.”

Rizevim’s astonishment wasn’t mere flattery; he was genuinely surprised.

With a disdainful snort, Tenraku didn’t find it particularly impressive. Wasn’t it just doing what the God of the Holy Bible could do? Someday, he would surpass even that!

“There are plenty more surprises where that came from,” Tenraku said coldly. “Rizevim, let’s get started!”

Summoning a plain iron sword, Tenraku casually swung it, unleashing a massive wave of sword qi towards Rizevim.

Quickly activating the barrier on his floating island to block the powerful sword qi, Rizevim took to the sky.

“Jié Jié Jié… Since the Red Dragon Emperor is interested, let’s play!” Rizevim chuckled.

However, moments later…

“Sword Burst!”

Tenraku, standing proudly in the air, swung his sword downward, sending a colossal sphere of sword qi hurtling toward Rizevim.

Despite desperately activating defenses to withstand the attack, Rizevim’s magic array was torn apart in an instant, and he was struck by numerous sword qi.

“Ahhhhhhhhh!!!”

Blood sprayed as Rizevim screamed in agony, crashing heavily to the ground below.

“We agreed it was just a game! You two are going too far!” Rizevim lay on the ground, too hurt to move, angrily accusing the pair who showed no care for their elder.

“Who said we were playing? Die!” A vein popped on Tenraku’s forehead as he sent another wave of sword qi towards Rizevim, who scrambled to roll out of the way.

Although both were Transcenders in terms of power, Tenraku’s vast Spirit Power was several times greater than Rizevim’s, almost doubling it, so even without using the Sacred Gear’s abilities. With his superior Swordsmanship alone, Tenraku could easily overpower him.

Walburga, though unnecessary, assisted Tenraku in the assault. Despite not needing her help, joining her villainous master in tormenting their former boss brought a sense of satisfaction to this seemingly cute but internally cold-hearted demoness.

Several times, Tenraku contemplated ending Rizevim’s life then and there, but each time, an invisible pressure prevented him from doing so. Tenraku knew it was Lilith secretly stopping him from killing Rizevim.

Tenraku couldn’t help but sigh. It seemed impossible to take out Rizevim without resolving Lilith’s situation. While Tenraku had considered releasing Ophis to restrain Lilith, if Ophis and Lilith clashed here, it would cause true chaos.

It was unlikely that Rizevim would be taken out for the time being, but even if he couldn’t be killed, he could still be mercilessly tormented. As long as Tenraku didn’t deliver the killing blow, he wouldn’t feel the invisible pressure, indicating that Lilith was only ensuring Rizevim didn’t die; she didn’t care about anything else.

After another round of relentless onslaught, one of Rizevim’s arms was severed, and he looked utterly battered and pathetic.

However, at that moment, a dazzling Holy Light shimmered in the sky, and Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel, the four Archangels, manifested themselves.

“Lord Michael, Gabriel-Sama,” Tenraku greeted the Archangels as Griselda and Yubelluna, who had almost finished clearing out the other mass-produced Evil Dragons, also gathered around.

“Apologies for our tardiness.”

“The barriers imposed by the enemy across Heaven have finally been lifted, and we have set up sturdy protective barriers in the Seventh Heaven. Even if our enemies from Qlippoth were to attack, they wouldn’t be able to breach it,” Michael stated, his gaze shifting toward Rizevim.

“It’s been a long time, Rizevim. The last time we met was during that war,” Michael remarked. “Since you have rudely intruded into this sacred domain, you must face the consequences… Though, it seems you’ve already been quite thoroughly beaten.”

“But—”

“For destroying our sacred places and homes, we will not spare you!” Gabriel’s voice was stern, her beautiful face now displaying anger.

Simultaneously, the four Archangels raised their hands toward the sky, and countless enormous spears of light appeared in the air. With a merciless swing of their hands, all the spears of light were launched towards Rizevim.

Boom!!!!

The radiant light and terrifying power erupted instantaneously. Tenraku quickly erected a barrier to protect himself and the women, while inwardly feeling astonished.

Truly, they were the four great Archangels of Heaven. Just from Michael’s attack alone, Tenraku could sense the immense threat.

After a long while, the violent winds gradually subsided. Tenraku dispelled the barrier, and everyone could finally see the scene outside again.

The city and the Evil Dragons had all vanished. Even Grendel, the tough behemoth, lay on the ground groaning. Tenraku raised his hand and retrieved Grendel, reverting him back into a Sacred Gear within his body.

A black cocoon-like object floated in the air not far from the group. Rizevim’s figure became visible once more with twelve enormous Devil wings unfurling behind him.

Pale-faced and panting heavily, it was evident that Rizevim had also been seriously injured by the recent attacks.

“Um, well, I guess I should say…” Rizevim scratched his head and sighed. “It’s my fault. I underestimated all of you. Coming out to play after so long, I may have gotten a bit too excited.”

Rizevim’s gaze towards Tenraku, Michael, and the others turned unusually cold.

“But now, the game is over.”

“I, Rizevim Livan Lucifer, the former son of Vali Lucifer, hereby declare all of you as enemies hindering my dreams!”

To be continued…
