EPHS-Chapter 564 The Red Dragon Emperor’s Dog

After being shouted at by Tenraku, Walburga immediately quieted down. But Rizevim seemed somewhat displeased. He had been enjoying their argument just moments ago.

“Red Dragon Emperor, who gave you the right to silence us? Do you know it’s rude to interrupt people’s quarrels?” Rizevim complained while puffing his beard.

Tenraku couldn’t help but sweatdrop. Was this guy addicted to arguing like an old wife?

Without bothering to waste words with him, Tenraku directly activated the Forbidden Move, “Unlimited Blade Works.” Hundreds of golden and gray vortexes twisted into existence in the sky, unleashing countless Holy and Demonic Swords that shot toward Rizevim.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The floating island on which Rizevim stood was engulfed in explosions. Mass-produced Evil Dragons were pierced and slaughtered, plummeting to the ground with agonized cries. However, the Holy Swords and Demonic Swords aimed at Rizevim were nullified by his abilities, causing him no harm.

“Tsk tsk… Red Dragon Emperor, I see that you’re still as violent as ever. In that case, I’ll summon some reinforcements,” Rizevim chuckled sinisterly, unfolding a massive magic array. Suddenly, three humanoid Giant Dragons emerged from the array, thumping onto the ground.

Both Tenraku and Walburga couldn’t help but look shocked as they saw this scene.

After all, these were three Grendels!

“Hehehe! Scared, are you? These are three mass-produced Grendels, although slightly inferior to the genuine ones, they are far superior to ordinary mass-produced Evil Dragons,” Rizevim boasted proudly.

“Three Grendels, kill them!” He ordered the creatures gleefully.

Roaring furiously, the bloodthirsty Grendels charged toward Tenraku and Walburga, smashing through tall buildings in their path.

“Take this!” With a flash of determination in her eyes, Walburga activated her Sacred Gear, “Chief Mourner’s Crucified Stand of Purple Flame – Incinerate Anthem.” and three colossal pillars of fire shot into the sky, striking the charging Grendels.

Although the flames were incredibly powerful, scorching the Grendels’ scales red and causing them to howl in agony, they managed to withstand the assault and continued their charge.

Tenraku was slightly surprised. It seemed these three were indeed not ordinary mass-produced Evil Dragons.

However…

“Yata-no-Kagami – Eight Ta Mirror!” A massive, ancient mirror appeared in front of Tenraku and Walburga, blocking the charging Grendels. They crashed into the mirror, then flew backward before crashing onto the ground hundreds of meters away.

“Interesting,” Tenraku smirked, dispersing the mirror, and an idea formed in his mind.

Since Rizevim had released three Grendels, why not release one of his own? With that thought, Tenraku activated the “Dragon of Supremacy – Juggernaut Drive,” causing the seal on Grendel’s jade jewel to break free from his body.

Roaring loudly, the Grendel emerged, its massive body crashing onto the ground below.

“Hahaha! I’m finally out!” The Grendel’s booming laughter filled the air as it made its grand entrance. Tenraku, whose eardrums were ringing from the noise, kicked it on its huge head.

“Quiet down and get to work!” He commanded.

“Damn Red Dragon Emperor! You sealed me, then dared to kick me? Why should I work for you? I’ll devour you!” The original Grendel, full of hatred towards Tenraku, refused to listen and attempted to swallow him whole.

It goes without saying that Grendel couldn’t possibly succeed. Walburga swung a massive flame cross, which exploded on his giant face.

“Ahhhhh… What did you do, Walburga?!” Grendel yelled in pain, clutching his charred face.

“Shut up, you stupid dragon!” Walburga retorted. “You’re just the master’s dog now, so behave and go bite someone!”

“You’re the one who’s been tamed by the Red Dragon Emperor, you bitch!” Infuriated, Grendel attempted to grab Walburga with his claws while hurling insults.

“Hehe… I’m happy being the master’s dog. What about you, stupid dragon?” Walburga dodged Grendel’s claws, laughing scornfully.

Caught off guard by her shameless acknowledgment of being the Red Dragon Emperor’s “pet,” Grendel was momentarily speechless. He couldn’t believe she had the audacity to admit it so happily. Even his own thick skin wasn’t as thick as hers!

Tenraku, on the other hand, remained unfazed. Now wasn’t the time to argue over who was whose “dog.” He spoke up, his tone icy:

“Grendel, are you sure you want to defy my orders? You’re just a Sacred Gear to me. I can seal you back anytime I want…”

“Obey my commands obediently. I’ll release you for battles when needed. But if you dare to defy me again, you’ll be sealed within the Sacred Gear forever!”

Tenrakuspoke with a cold and stern look on his face, and he wasn’t joking around with this Berserker Dragon.

He didn’t need a disobedient pet who only caused trouble. If necessary, he wouldn’t hesitate to stop using the Sacred Gear’s “Dragon of Supremacy – Juggernaut Drive.” Even if Grendel were sealed within the Sacred Gear, Tenraku could still forcefully wield his power.

“Hehe… Grendel, you were quite arrogant just now. Why don’t you try defying your master’s orders again?” Walburga chuckled, relishing the spectacle. She hoped this stupid dragon would continue to misbehave and end up sealed within her master’s Sacred Gear forever.

“Fine, I’ll listen to you,” Grendel relented, scratching his head. “If you don’t let me fight, I’ll go crazy with boredom.”

Walburga clicked her tongue. This stupid dragon seemed to have suddenly become smarter. Tenraku wasn’t surprised by Grendel’s choice either. Despite his muscle-headed nature and obsession with fighting, he wasn’t truly dumb. He knew how to make the right choice for his own benefit.

“As long as you obey my orders, I’ll release you when needed,” Tenraku stated firmly. “Now, go take out those three impostors of yours!”

As the three mass-produced Grendels charged once again, Tenraku gave the command.

“Understood, boss!”

“Hehe… Let’s fight, fight! I’m ready for battle!” Grendel’s simple mind quickly switched into battle mode as he charged towards his doppelgangers.
