“These are Angel halos that contain your identity information. Please make sure to wear them,” Griselda said as she handed out a ring to each person in the group.

“Heaven is the sacred abode of God and the Angels. If any other beings enter without permission, it could disrupt the System’s operations and even trigger attacks from the Power of Sacredness. The Angel halo will make the System recognize you as a member of Heaven, so don’t lose it.”

Curious, everyone followed Griselda’s instructions, placing the rings on their heads. The rings emitted a soft glow and floated above their heads, resembling real Angel halos.

“Amazing!” Xenovia exclaimed, her eyes wide with wonder.

“It feels like we’ve actually become Angels!” Asia added while giggling.

Ile, the mischievous girl, spread her wings and flew around, imitating an Angel. However, instead of holy Angel wings, she displayed her black Devil wings, creating a humorous yet bizarre sight that made everyone laugh.

Once everyone was ready, they moved to the underground teleportation chamber. Unlike the usual Devil teleportation circles, this time, a specialized magic circle designed for Heaven’s use was employed.

Kneeling in the center of the magic circle, Griselda began to chant a peculiar incantation. Soon, the circle emitted a sacred light, and a large, double-door gate slowly materialized in the room.

The gate, resembling a magnificent structure carved from alabaster, creaked open with a grand sound.

“This is the elevator to Heaven. Everyone, please step inside,” Griselda announced with a smile.

Tenraku and the group chuckled at the modern convenience of using an elevator to reach Heaven. The inside was spacious enough to accommodate all of them comfortably.

As the elevator door closed, golden patterns glowed beneath their feet, and they felt themselves being lifted upwards rapidly as if propelled by an unseen force.

“Ahhh…” They exclaimed as the scenery around them shifted swiftly.

When they regained their bearings, they found themselves standing on a cloud, high above the earth.

Heaven was located in a dimensional space above the Human World, much like the Underworld was below it. The elevator dissipated, and before them stood an enormous stone gate, the legendary Gate of Heaven.

“Welcome to Heaven, Captain and everyone,” Dulio greeted them, appearing from the other side of the gate.

Unlike his usual attire, Dulio now sported an Angel halo and ten pairs of golden wings.

“Dulio,” Tenraku and the others responded, acknowledging him.

“Michael has been expecting you. Please, follow us,” Dulio said with a cheerful smile.

Under the guidance of Dulio and Griselda, they passed through the gate and entered Heaven. The architecture floated elegantly atop the clouds, arranged in a harmonious vertical and horizontal pattern.

The entire place was spotless, with even the streets being immaculate. Everything exuded a pure and sacred light, bringing an overwhelming sense of peace and tranquility.

Angels with wings extended flew gracefully in the sky, waving warmly at the newcomers, creating a dreamlike atmosphere.

Ile and Nel couldn’t stop exclaiming in delight, while Rias and Sona’s eyes sparkled with fascination. Even Raynare, Mittelt, and Kalawarner wore expressions of nostalgic remembrance.

Tenraku couldn’t help but admire the beauty of the place, feeling a sudden desire to claim it for himself.

As they walked and admired the surroundings, Dulio and Griselda provided an introduction to the Seven Heavens.

“Heaven is divided into seven layers. We are currently in the first layer, known as First Heaven,” Dulio explained.

“From the lowest to the highest, each layer of Heaven requires higher authorization to enter. Most lower-ranking Angels and clergy members operate within First Heaven,” Griselda explained as they ascended.

“The highest layer, Seventh Heaven, is the dwelling place of God. However, since God’s passing, it is now only home to the System that governs God’s miracles, including the Sacred Gear System,” She continued. “Archangels like Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel reside in Sixth Heaven, which serves as the current headquarters of Heaven. That’s where we are heading now.”

After a short walk, they reached another elevator that would take them to the upper layers. Following a thorough security check by Angel guards, they boarded the elevator and began their ascent through the clouds.

They didn’t stop at Second or Third Heaven, which was a bit disappointing, but Griselda provided an explanation:

“The Heaven most people think of is the Third Heaven. Pure and kind souls go there after death. It’s the largest layer, so vast that its full extent is still unknown. Bringing Devils there might disturb the souls of believers, so we won’t be visiting today.”

Although slightly disappointed, everyone understood.

Continuing upwards, they soon arrived at Fourth Heaven.

“Fourth Heaven is also known as the Garden of Eden. You’ve probably heard of it— the story of Adam and Eve happened here,” Griselda said with a smile, prompting everyone to look out in awe.

Fourth Heaven was a paradise of towering ancient trees, exotic flowers, and mythical creatures. They saw running Cyclopes, napping three-headed lions, singing Elves, and many other fantastic beings living peacefully together.

Despite the wonders around them, they didn’t linger, as they were on their way to meet Michael. Griselda reassured them that they could return to explore after their meeting.

They continued their journey, transferring to another elevator and ascending further until they reached Fifth Heaven…
