EPHS-Chapter 554 Asia’s Guardian

After the formal establishment of the D×D Team, Azazel distributed a special communicator to each member. With this communicator, they could quickly contact other members of the team.

Although the team was formed, everyone still had their own responsibilities and couldn’t be together all the time. Moreover, with the elusive movements of Qlippoth, it was uncertain where they would cause chaos next.

So, they dispersed across the Underworld, Human World, Heaven, and other locations. In case of emergencies, they could quickly respond and summon other comrades.

As a special advisor to the D×D Team, Azazel offered many suggestions and plans. Before officially engaging with Qlippoth, everyone should try to improve their strength individually. It would also be beneficial to organize a few unified operations to enhance cooperation.

However, Azazel merely made suggestions; the actual execution was left to Tenraku as the captain. Feeling overwhelmed, Tenraku delegated the task to Rias and Sona to help plan.

Finally, as the time grew late and plans were made for future contact, everyone bid farewell and left. Sairaorg and Seekvaira returned to the Underworld with their Peerages, Gasper and Vali’s team followed Azazel to his residence, Dulio returned to Heaven, and Griselda headed back to the nearby town’s church.

Surprisingly, Tiamat volunteered to visit the Kamiya Family.

“Tiamat-Sama, please have some tea,” Asia welcomed her esteemed guest, pouring hot tea.

“Tiamat-Sama, I heard from Azazel that you volunteered to join the D×D Team. Why are you interested in such matters? Don’t you have many responsibilities in the Underworld?” Tenraku asked as he sat with Rias and Sona on the nearby sofa.

Initially, Azazel hadn’t considered Tiamat, as it seemed she had plenty to do. One of the requirements for D×D Team members was the ability to act independently and respond to emergencies at any time.

“I’ve entrusted all the affairs in the Underworld to Ajuka, so now I am free. As for joining D×D, it’s for Asia Argento,” Tiamat replied with a determined expression.

“Asia Argento is a precious existence to our Dragon Race. I can’t allow her to engage in dangerous activities with you all,” Tiamat continued.

“Tiamat-Sama, Asia is our family and comrade. We will definitely protect her and ensure she doesn’t encounter danger,” Rias said with a hint of helplessness in her tone.

“Sorry, Rias-sama, but I don’t have absolute trust in you. I trust my own judgment more,” Tiamat replied emotionlessly, leaving both Tenraku and Rias speechless.

She really wasn’t one to mince her words.

However, in the next moment, Tiamat surprised everyone again.

“Asia Argento, enter into a contract with me.”

“A c-contract?”

“I’m sorry, Tiamat-sama, but I can’t leave Tenraku-sama and everyone else…” Asia replied, bowing her head.

Although she was touched by Tiamat’s concern for her, she couldn’t leave Tenraku-sama and everyone at home. That was non-negotiable.

“Don’t worry, I understand your bond with the Red Dragon Emperor and the others. I’m not trying to claim you as my own. I simply want to enter into an equal contract with you,” Tiamat said as she gently caressed Asia’s forehead.

“An equal contract?”

“I can lend you my power to protect you when you’re in danger and in need. In return, you just need to do some small favors for me,” Tiamat explained.

“S-Small favors?”

“Like brewing tea for me or giving me a back rub.”

“That’s all?”

“That’s all.”

Asia couldn’t believe it, but Tiamat said it so casually.

“Asia, agree to it,” Tenraku decided for her without needing her to speak.

This was a golden opportunity handed to them on a silver platter. Anyone who refused it would be a true fool!

“Asia Argento, are you willing to enter into a contract with me now?” Tiamat asked.

“Yes, I am, Tiamat-sama!” Asia replied happily, nodding her head.

“Then let’s form the contract right away.” Tiamat wasted no time. She immediately set up the magic array for the contract and instructed Asia to recite the incantation together with her, stating the terms of the agreement.

Under the watchful eyes of Tenraku and the girls, the two quickly formed the contract. From then on, Asia only needed to brew tea, massage shoulders, and give back rubs to Tiamat, while Tiamat served as Asia’s protector, lending her strength in times of danger or need.

There was no doubt that Asia had hit the jackpot!

Even Rias and Irina couldn’t help but be amazed. Asia seemed to possess some kind of magical power, effortlessly persuading a legendary Dragon King to join their side. Was it really that easy?

“Red Dragon Emperor, I’ll be staying here with you from now on, is that okay?” Tiamat looked at Tenraku and asked.

“Of course, Tiamat San, you can stay as long as you want,” Tenraku replied.

“Asia, now that you’re Tiamat San’s contractor, prepare a room for her later,” Tenraku instructed.

“Yes, Tenraku-sama.”

At almost zero cost, they had recruited the legendary Chaos Karma Dragon to their side. If it weren’t for the timing being off, Tenraku would have wanted to reward Asia handsomely right then and there. Well, even if not now, he would make sure to make up for it later. He had to reward Asia properly!

“Red Dragon Emperor, I’ve noticed something. The aura of Ddraig and Albion on you seems different,” Tiamat frowned.

“Ddraig, Albion, come out and greet an old friend,” Tenraku snapped his fingers, and Ddraig and Albion, adorned in magnificent armor, emerged from Tenraku’s body.

“Hey, Tiamat, welcome to the party,” Ddraig greeted.

“You’re both resurrected?” Tiamat was surprised, but she quickly regained her composure. It was her first time seeing Ddraig and Albion in their human forms, and her gaze couldn’t help but wander to Ddraig’s chest and Albion’s rear.

“Hmph,” for some reason, Tiamat suddenly felt a bit annoyed.

Albion returned to the Sacred Gear, feeling a bit embarrassed, and Ddraig disappeared as well.

“Tiamat San, let me introduce you to someone else,” Tenraku said, and Ophis’s figure appeared.

“Tiamat,” Ophis, sitting on Tenraku’s lap, glanced at Tiamat, then lowered her small head to continue munching on her snack.

Even Tiamat couldn’t remain calm this time. Her mouth twitched involuntarily.

“O-Ophis!”
